Had not been to Mission Inn for a dozen years or so. Wondered if it would be as good as it once was. Not disappointed at all. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the lava cake over the top. Lisa made sure that the evening was complete with outstanding service.

We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens. Food was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very attentive. We will be back.

The Sea Bass and the Halibut were both great. The ambience great. A wedding party slowed the attentive service somewhat, but all in all a very good experience.

My wife and I got married here. This was our 2nd year anniversary and we came in for dinner to celebrate. The food and service were amazing. We will definitively be back!

Meh. Average all the way around. Restaurant was not even close to full but service was very slow… drinks slow… water refills slow. Good was average at best. The highly touted Lobster Bisque was the worst we’d all had. Very disappointed

Let me say first, that I don’t complain. I am a one and done kind of person if the location is poorly managed. I had an 8pm reservation on Valentine’s Day with my wife. We had a little trouble finding the location, so we didn’t check in until 8:02 but were promptly sat. This is where the night derailed for us. We waited 14 minutes to be greeted and another 6 minutes after that. Kristin, the server, then took our drink order and we thought well she can salvage this she seems nice. Well Kristin may be a ghost whisperer because she sure ghosted us after taking the order. Bread service was given to every table around us except for us and we ordered every course so you would think that would be a given, but no. So we waited and waited to the point where we were ready to leave and a food runner stopped by with our appetizers. The food had sat under a heat lamp in the back because the crab cake sear was mushy and should be crispy and the middle was cold along with the remoulade. The lobster bisque was not a bisque because it was soupy and didn’t have the creamy consistency that you would find with a well prepared bisque. No sooner did we start eating barely edible app’s did our entrees arrive 5 minutes later, trust me this isn’t an exaggeration. My medium rare ribeye was a beautiful medium and my wife’s lobster tails were absent of any seasoning. 1 had a good texture but the second tail was chewy and flavorless. The only good thing about meal was my glass of belle glos Balade which was delicious. My wife’s champagne and cotton candy beverage was very bitter. Again, I don’t complain even if the bill was close to 200 dollars and was after tip. You would be better served to not visit this place if have expectations related to a fine dining experience as you will not get it here. We opted out of the desserts because it was bad and figured dessert at a twisty treat would blow them out of the water. I share this only as a cautionary tale and hope a few heed my warning.

Valentine dinner, food was 5 stars, service 2 stars, waited for over 20minutes before waitress came over, to take drink orders. End of the evening, every diners was presented with a rose, except our table, I had to ask the waitress, she then presented me with wilted rose😳

we were surprised to find a restaurant charge a corking fee for ordering a bottle of wine... at a byob, a corking fee is sometimes charged, however, this was a first to be charged a fee after purchasing a bottle of wine... overall, a very good experience... the space around the statue was so dark at night...it is such a beautiful space...some ground lighting would have really been special to see at night

The Service of bringing the main entree was a little slow. However, the food was delicious. It was apparent that dishes were prepared with care, which possibly IS why it took a little longer.
