Great HH experience. Solid specials, great atmosphere, and solid service.
Place must be for a younger crowd looking for pitchers of Ritas or beer because the food was god awful.
Empanadas were a 5/10, chicken fajitas were awful, pork tacos awful and I didn't even drink my red sangria after one sip. (Sad you can't make a decent sangria) even my daughters chicken quesadillas were awful.
With all the amazing places to eat in DC do yourself a favor and skip this one.
the mexi benny is so amazing!!! and the breakfast burrito as well
Fun spot, food was okay but nice ambiance and good service. Outdoor seating was a nice setup.
Loved this place!
Fantastic food, drinks and service. Amazing outdoor setup.
First and foremost, the food was excellent!!
However, the noise level (music) was certainly a distraction. Mission is obviously a "nabe fave" and the loud banter of foodies is a welcome sign of life, but I found the obnoxiously loud music almost intolerable. If the music were lowered even half way, it would make "un mundo de diferencia." :)
Really wonderful staff that accommodated our party safely and efficiently. Our friend was late so even though the time was running out on our table, they allowed us to stay a little longer so we could finish our food and drinks.
Dope, fun, didn't have any food but gave that 5 stars cause everything else twas fun.
Great food and friendly service. Good ambiance outside and specials for Cinco de Mayo.
Good but too loud of music inside.
I went here for Cinco de Mayo. I think the restaurant was expecting larger crowds than what actually showed and limited reservations to 90 minutes. I understood the policy, but it seems like the restaurant would have relaxed things when people didn't show and there were a number of tables sitting unused. Otherwise, the food and drinks were good. Perhaps it might be better to try on a non-holiday if you don't want to feel rushed.
My server Maki was awesome! I eat at Mission quite often and they don't disappoint. This time my quesadilla were rather empty which is unlike them but I guess every business has an off day. Margaritas and guac were great as usual!
It was good and the waiter, Kevin, was terrific. However, the other guy was really rude when our time at the table was up. We spent a lot of money and he basically was trying to kick us out after 1.5 hours and wouldn’t let us bring our drinks to go. Other than than I love this place.
Really enjoyed Missions happy hour, the outdoor setting was very nice and the nachos were good and a huge size. Great place for a nice summer evening!
Average food, strong drinks, nice atmosphere outdoors. Overall, not a bad time at all.
We had a great time! Delicious food and margs!
Amazing waiters, amazing food, amazing drinks!! Loved all parts of it!
Wonderful waitress, maida! Took great care of us!
The vegan mushroom taco is the best I have ever had!! Coming from a person who isn’t a vegan and gives all foods an chance, and this taco is my favorite taco.
Paloma was so tasty! and the nachos are to die for
Great food and service. Music was loud and overall the place had a fun and energetic vibe (not that any of the patrons were disorderly). (Went for brunch, sat inside.)
The food was really good and I loved that their brunch options were different than the usual brunches in the area.
was great to see they had a lot of distanced patio seating. Ambience was meh because on the street but not their fault - covid’s.
My family lives Mexican food and this place had some of the best food ever. Steak quesadilla amazing. Great guac. Churros delish. Skinny margs so good!!! Loved the oudoor seating area.
I CRAVE the Tinga brunch bowl, but I sub the chicken for chorizo instead. I get it every time I'm at either Mission location! Fun atmosphere and good value for bottomless margaritas!
This is my second time here, but my first brunch experience with them. Our waitress came very quickly with waters. She gave us time to wait for our other guests to arrive and to give our orders without being pushy. We all tried different beverages and we all enjoyed what we got. I loved my marg! I ordered to chicken tinga brunch bowl. It could've packed a little more flavor in my opinion, but was still yummy. My other friends thought their nachos were great. The other pal loved her breakfast burrito...and especially thought the potatoes accompanying them were delicious. It gets really busy Sunday at brunch time (which is to be expected in DC), but our items came out in a very timely fashion.
Was charged per individual margarita pitcher order, even though we disclosed we were doing the Brunch 90-Minute drink deal. Was provided no additional context. Paid each individual order at the end of it. Very dissatisfied.
Food was good and ambiance is good as well.
It was fun! Beautiful evening outdoors. The guac was good and the entrees were good as well. The margaritas were good not great and sadly we sat right next to a speaker so it was hard to hear. Server was nice and prompt. Wouldn’t be my first choice for
Mexican food in the city, but I would go back.
Took us a little to get taken care of, but once we were taken care of it was great! We had servers Isaiah & Olivia & they were super great. Would def come back
Bottomless drinks are worth it but food definitely could use some help. Very bland flavors or just not a good combination of ingredients that make sense for brunch.
Super cute ambiance, sit outside if you can! Their bottomless brunch deal is great
Loved the place and the service. Nice and big outdoor space. The downside was very loud and too energetic music at 5 pm.
I was surprised by the fact that we paid 40$ for a bottle of wine, but we got plastic glasses. The food was good. We ordered desserts, but we received plastic utensils. I don't know if that is normal because of COVID, but there are plenty of restaurants out there with regular glasses and regular utensils.
We were set at the table farthest away from the restaurant, even though we walked by several open tables. The drinks and the food were pretty pricy for the quantity. The flavor was good though.
Samantha was amazing! She made my birthday brunch so awesome! ❤️
Decent food, decently price brunch, decent wait times, good spot!
Our server was great. The bottomless margaritas were good, too. They were on the pricier side but the flavor was good (not watered down) so I feel like they were worth it. However, the food was horrible. Both of our brunch entrees tasted like leftover chicken was tossed into salad or over rice. Everything arrive “room temperature” but we were hungry so ate and went to eat at another establishment afterwards. Granted, we only really went for the bottomless brunch but it would have been nice if the brunch part of the menu left us saying “that tasted good” or “I’m full.”
