Please note that patio tables are sat on a first come basis and are not available for advanced reservations.
I've been a number of times to Mission and enjoy it. That said, the over the top noise level has me taking a pass on occasion. Not the greatest place to bring a date from the standpoint it's really hard to have a conversation.
Food was very tasty, loud atmosphere but a fun environment
The margaritas were disappointing but the food and service outstanding!
Our server was great. Attentive in checking in with us at appropriate times. Which is greatly appreciated
A little to loud for a first date. Had a hard time making conversation. Also the service was erratic and not that good.
Delicious and interesting brunch.
Good for happy hour and have some margaritas after work. Food was okay.
Our server (who was new as of that day) was wonderful. There was some confusion about our sautéed shrimp taco order and we were brought buffalo shrimp tacos instead, but the issue was corrected.
We were concerned though that another diner was allowed to bring her dog into the restaurant. We could not discern that this was a service dog, and it barked several times toward the end of our meal. She also took the dog into the back at one point and i can only hope the dog wasn’t close to where food was being prepared. I really like this restaurant and want to come back, but I’m not sure I will if the restaurant doesn’t address its policies of animals in the restaurant.
Mission was great as always. The staff was friendly and attentive
Visited during the week between Christmas and New Years.
Seated promptly, although our reservation was early: 11:30AM . Food was delicious...the Mexican Bennies were the best twist on eggs benedict I have ever eaten. Could have eaten two plates.
BEWARE THE BLOODY MARY. Totally lacking in any flavor, let alone spice or heat. It was as if someone had stepped back to 1962 to grab some old metal can of plain tomato juice. Served in 1962 style, with a sliver of celery and a lemon wedge...HOW QUAINT. Airline Mr and Mrs. T's seems luxurious compared to the thin and vague serving at MISSION. Zero stars for Bloody Mary.
The food was way too salty, but the service was great. I appreciated the manager and the server trying to help but our entrees were borderline inedible across the board from the tacos to the beans and rice. I wouldn’t do the bottomless brunch again because the value wasn’t worth it. We mainly ate the chips and guacamole more than our actual entrees. The manager did replace our dish which wasn’t really eaten (because too salty) but overall the food was meh.
Got hammered off two happy hour marg pitchers w my lover.
The food was amazing, very flavorful. Drinks were awesome. Great environment
Great spot for brunch - easily accommodated our large group. Great brunch deal!
Our food was so good! Waitress was very nice. Loved the vibe. We hung out at the bar for a few hours after eating. We loved our first visit here and will definitely come back whenever in the DC area.
Great margaritas, delicious food, excellent service! Mission has become our go-to for girls night!!
Overall, the food was really good and the atmosphere was lively. The music was very loud and kinda hard to talk to one another but besides that it was really good.
Absolutely amazing experience. The service was fast, food was amazing and it was a nice setting to enjoy a day out with friends. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely amazing! Great service, drinks, food and vibe.
It was honestly okay. The food wasn't incredible, margaritas were pretty good though. The chips and salsa at the beginning were nice.
We were delayed about fifteen minutes in being seated because other parties wouldn't vacate their tables, and the wait and host staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating (and comped our appetizers). Everything was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
Great food. Super loud and hard to hear people sitting with you.
Service bad. Waitress disinterested. Busboys brought the meal and spilled one dish on one of our party. Waitress didn’t even notice. Fajitas terrible - rubbery meat, cold tortillas, over salted, Very disappointing- won’t be back. There are much better Mexican restaurants locally - don’t waste your time or money here.
Food and drinks were both delicious and served quickly, but it was so loud (music) it was difficult to hear the person sitting directly next to you.
Took ages to get table ready
The food was really good but about 2/3 of the way through my tamales I found a piece of plastic in it. I’m just glad I didn’t swallow it.
Food was great and super filling! They’re busy and adamant about being out in exactly 2 hours for the next party which is understandable but in 2 hours I only had maybe 3 margs, at one point server told us they ran out of margaritas? Not sure what that means since that is their signature drink for brunch. It wasn’t until the end she offered a pitcher which would’ve been helpful wayyyy early into the brunch.
Loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Could barely hear the guests with me - sitting next to me! Might as well have been a club. Horrible for families and small children. Never again.
I picked Mission because I'm vegan and they had vegan tacos on the menu. Its 2018; if you aren't considering vegetarians and vegans in menu planning, get new menu planners.
Ok, so that's why we went. We had a great time. The tacos were tasty. Someone thought threw the vegan tacos. The guacamole was delicious. The setting was cozy. I'd go back just to have the vegan tacos again. Great job!
Our waiter took over 10 mi it’s to get to our table after we were seated and he was entirely uninterested in being helpful and present for the rest of our brunch. Two times in a row with poor service!
Great food and location! Warm enough to sit outside ( quieter). Service was outstanding with on pint recommendations.
The food is incredible as always! And the service is kind and quick!
Really fantastic service and excellent food. Definitely will be back!
Very different take on Mexican fare. Bartender very knowledgeable of tequila selection. Great list as well. Try the chicken wings, they are great. Happy hour menu can use some expansion.
Aside from the nice patio there is not much to recommend here. Service was spotty, food was average, drinks were mediocre. The menu is basic and uninspired. Even the seating is uncomfortable. The service was earnest and there was genuine effort but often missing when needed. Over all, this place is a warmed over Chipotle that serves booze; best for a cheap happy hour.
Good food -- they accidentally brought my dish with the wrong meat inside but it was still tasty! Would recommend overall. Margaritas are amazing!
Went for brunch with a friend. Server was very nice but was missing for the majority of our time there. The table behind us also seemed to be hunting him down constantly for refills or to order something. He did pay attention to a table he had that was full of loud drunk women, however. He brought them drinks and shots multiple times while we were waiting for one drink... The restaurant did have a huge group come in and I think the manager may have stolen our server away to help setup for the big group, but he also seemed to be ignoring us in favor of the table of drunk girls and it really hurt our experience. The manager came over and apologized and ended up comping our entire meal as well as the table behind us. Much appreciated! However, maybe don't steal your servers from their tables to help set up a big group because you didn't schedule enough people to work? The food was absolutely delicious - I had the Mexi Bennie (Mexican-style eggs Benedict) and was very happy.
My friends and I came here and had an amazing time! The food was amazing and our waiter was super attentive. Their bottomless brunch special beats what most other places offer for bottomless brunch without even trying. I would and will 100% go there again!
There was a dead mouse on the floor next to our table. All they did was move us to another table and took off one brunch off our tab, which we had to ask for...... Honestly, such a terrible experience, especially because they were not apologetic at all.
