   Food was really good. Our server was excellent (Tanae-spelling). One suggestion: it is is Southern style, but no BISCUITS. Please add some Southern style biscuits to the brunch menu, perhaps with some original "Miss Toya's special jam."

   T’Nae was an excellent server! She had knowledge of the menu and was helpful when we had questions. The food was outstanding! Everything we ordered was flavorful and presented well. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

   This was our second time at Miss Toya's and it was nothing like the first visit. We had reservation for 4, so when we were seated only two small plates were placed on the table. We had to asked who was going to take our order, since other customers came i and receive service after us. The server who took our order did apologize for the error about who was to take our order. He was wonderful. The greens and spinach were over seasoned (too salty).

   The food was very good with one exception. The jerk chicken rolls, tasted like black pepper. The jerk spice was not discernible. The taste was not of red or bonnet peppers it was McCormick Black pepper. I took peach cobbler home for dessert and it tasted like a chocolate spoon. My main dish, the shrimp and grits tasted amazing. My companion had the chops and they were delicious. The evening was pleasant and I would definitely return.

   Our server was excellent, he served our table of 5 and he also was the bar tender. It was his first time working at the Laurel location but he was awesome.

   The restaurant was not very busy when we got there. We were able to order quickly and the food tasted great!

   We went for Brunch. The eggs were over cooked, the potatoes soggy, don’t offer fresh fruit for waffles and french toast. My first and last time dining at this restaurant.

   The services was not the best. The waiter took forever to take our order and did not follow up with us regularly.

    This is my second time at Miss Toya’s in Laurel, and they never disappoint. The only small issue was our waitress was a bit slow in tending to us, but she was still good other than that! I will be going back!
