Wonderful experience! Small restaurant on the 3rd floor of a building near Plaza Foch in La Mariscal, Quito. Don't let the street entrance scare you away! Walk past the entrance and go through the stairs to get a unique dining experience in Quito. The food was excellent, the prices were just right, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was truly memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Quito.

Excellent restaurant; Very pretty, great service and an imaginative menu. Each dish was beautifully presented. We told our server, I believe Alex, what we were considering and he had very definitive suggestions of what we should enjoy with a short time in Quito. My Dad had the Guinea pig which was beautifully presented and he said remarkable. We shared ceviche and I had a great fish dish that was recommended.

We stumbled onto this place our first night in Quito looking for local cuisine at a decent price. It is hard to define and extremely casual, but the food was not only yummy, it was artfully presented, our waiter spoke perfect English, and the check was reasonable. The only con was that after 9 pm, the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy, but not bad.

El ingreso muy descuidado, los alimentos no tienen buen sabor, la atencion buena pero el espacio no es muy amplio y las mesas estan muy cerca lo que impide al personal brindar un servicio adecuado.

The food was wonderful. Our two servers took so much time with us to explain all the different Ecuadorian food. They were so helpful and kind. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We were in Quito for a week and ate everything from street food to meals at what were some of Quito's most renowned fine dining establishments. Miskay was where we had our best meal. It was Ecquadorian classics with just the right amount of elevation. It "tried" just the right amount. Nothing over reaching, nothing dull. Just flavorful, thoughtful food prepared with care.

No empanadas even though they were on the menu. Empanadas were the reason we went there
