Great experience with outside (COVID) dining! Wonderful service, drinks and food.
Food was ok. Pasta was not hot. The service was very good given the outdoor circumstances. Not sure we will return unfortunately.
Great food. I keep going back.
I don't post many reviews here, but in a city where most italian is large plates, large places, veal pam and caesar salads, it was nice to find a place that was quiet, sophisticated, had a small but varied menu and just felt comfortable. If you like standard italian this won't be for you, but anyone else this is worth a visit. Can't recommend the food or the service or the ambience enough, was hard o believe we were in the heart of the city. give it a try.
Delicious food, fantastic service and overall a great vibe. Definitely would recommend or return.
One of my favorite hidden Italian gems in NYC. Delish pasta and their kale salad is perfect (I know, a weird thing to say about a kale salad).
10/10 - would recommend.
Don’t come here if you’re hungry.
We love this place. Perfect for before or after theatre too.
Came in for lunch alone on a slow afternoon and met with one of the co-owners. He and I chatted while I was served lunch and I couldn't have asked for a nicer plate of pasta or better company. I recommend giving Misirizzi a try one day for a nice lunch or dinner, especially if you stop by on your own.
5/5 stars from me!
Food was excellent, the dining room looked charming - hope to sit there next time!
Dear Customes, if we get rid of the table on the corridor (which are same size of the table in back for 2) we cannot sit more then 30 people in our restaurant, and probably we cannot survive, (unfortunately we have to pay rent and staff) I honestly saw much tiny tables in other restaurants in ny. I think ours are pretty comfortable, next time write a notes on your reservation, we will try to accomodate you in the back, but I can't promise it during a busy week end. I'm sure you understand it
Very peaceful place (went on a Sunday brunch), the staff is great, the food is amazing and at a decent price. The place wasn’t too packed. Great experience!
We came here for the Valentine's special. It was ok. The food was good, but not particularly special. Staff wasn't able to answer simple questions.
Definitely not worth the over $200 check.
I went for Valentines Day and thought it was nice. I think what it cost for what we got was a bit high. The octopus in a jar was really good, think they should adjust the way it is described because it was the best thing I ate the whole night and almost did not get it because it said it was in a jar (which they take out and plate for you upon serving) The pasta was really good and filling but the steak I got was very fatty. Should have gotten the scallops.
Valentine’s Day Dinner
Food was not great for price that was paid.
Friendly Staff. Cool decor. Outstanding food! Great for everyday and special occasions.
The noise level required shouting at each other and the server told us they like to turn the tables quickly. The food was excellent. Lots of potential for a great dining experience just not there yet.
Dear Customer, the server probably said something in a wrong way, what he meant was refer to the fact that we decided to sit your party even if one person wasn't there on time and your table order food only when the last person arrived (which was at least 30 minutes later). On a busy saturday night that can affect the turning table in a small restaurant like ours and deny other people that are waiting to have the same experience. Forgive him and understand us. I appreciate the 4 stars rating!!!
the food was delicious and all of the people who served and helped us were lovely and welcoming and charming. Great dining experience.
The food was amazing, although it was a small portion. But the ambiance and great wine made it worth it.
Didnt like the food
Interesting menu. We split everything, a dish similar to Vitello tonato, salad and a chicken and roasted potato entree. Good bread with olive oil and olives. A lovely find near the Public theater.
Great! Nice table in the back which had privacy
Food was amazing. Nothing fancy in terms of ambiance, but it felt like we were in Italy which is almost better. Took a group of clients and they really loved it.
Lovely, kind service. Delicious squid ink pasta with swordfish. Great evening.
What a special little spot! Charming, chill, lovely. Delicious, personal-touch dishes. The ambiance is wonderful for dinner with a great friend, a date, or a group of people you love (who love the real deal Italian food experience!). They even have a couple of mocktails on the menu (I don't drink much). So glad I tried this place. I will be back.
Great service, wonderful food. This cozy venue is a neighborhood gem.
Charming spot, great food, moderate prices. My go-to neighborhood restaurant.
A gem of a restaurant. Every dish was a treat
We had a wonderful experience celebrating two birthdays. Alessandro and everyone went above and beyond to make the occasion a special one. Definitely will coming back again soon as the food was delicious, the ambiance is beautiful, and the service is exceptional.
It was just very very overpriced for the portion of pasta that was served.
Italian food with a delicious and creative twist! Really nice to find a quiet, neighborhood gem in NoHo and have a great meal with friends. Two of us had the salmon with a Brussel sprout/potato cake in a broccoli sauce, another had the Bronzino and the lamb chop. All perfectly prepared!
A cushion would be nice on the bench, but otherwise a lovely place and we’ll definitely be back!
My friend and I sat at the bar for happy hour special, dinner, and drinks. The temperature of the restaurant was boiling. The food, drink, and atmosphere were fine, but the service was pretty bad without anyone being straight up rude. Every time we wanted anything—and I mean anything—we had to wave the bar tender down (the bar seats approx 8, so its not like she was in the weeds). If we wanted water, to order our entrees, more wine—anything—we had to specifically ask; it was never offered. On top of that, before I was even done with my diner, they took my friend’s wine glass. And again we had to ask for some more wine. I guess they were trying to get us out the door, but there were plenty of seats, they weren’t closing for the night, and we continued to spend money there by buying drinks etc, so I don’t see the issue. We were also never offered the dessert menu. We ended up leaving and going to a delightful spot around the corner for dessert.
Dear Rachel, looking at your bill receipt I saw you seat at the bar around 6pm and left at 10.30pm, I don't think we were rushing you out, I also remember coming to you sometimes and ask if everything was fine (I'm the owner), pour some barbera, chat and smile with you and your friend. We were pretty busy last friday night, the bar was full, I apologize if my waitress didn't give you the attention you deserved and I'm going to tell her to be more attentive next time. Sorry again Alessandro
this isn't high end dining that you wait to go to. becuz this is above average and a place you can go often, without special occasion or budget. The menu choices are varied, well executed. The staff is helpful... in a space that is narrow and small. So while a large table of patrons might get loud, overall it mostly isn't. Pastas, Entrees, Starters and Sides have always been tasty. Of late the black ink Risotto with seafood was particularly noteworthy with its balanced blend of dairy-ness and other; sauteed spinach fine; the lamb chop order was generous enough to split and came with roasted veggies.
Excellent Food. Excellent service.
This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first. We enjoyed the comfortable staff, clean setting and fair prices. Pasta with spicy sausage was really good. Tiramisu dessert capped off the meal.
Great for a November date night. Went on a date with my honey and couldn’t ask for a better evening on the Lower East Side. The vibe is casual but indulgent. We loved the cozy, intimate ambiance and dim lights, and had a cute, quiet table to ourselves by the window so we could enjoy the City night scenes. I had the tagliatelle ragú , it was amazing—al dente with stewed ragú that melted in my mouth. He had spaghetti bolognese and together we had no complaints. We shared tiramisu that came with a delicious dollop of coffee ice cream. Paired everything with red wine and I started our night with a bubbly Prosecco that set the mood nicely. Servers were very sweet. They picked up on our romance vibes and balanced giving us lots of quality time to enjoy our dinner, while coming back frequently enough to refresh our wine carafe, check in on our meal experience and ask if we wanted dessert at the perfect time lol. 10 out of 10.
Food was delicious. Very fresh. We had the zucchini parmigiana and scallop apps and lamb chops entree. Everything cooked perfectly. Augustine was our server and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The timing was great. Cute space. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended.
Food was great.
Service was not great. Nice people, but not very attentive.
Great for before theater. Good food , pleasant staff, fair prices, and nice atmosphere.
Quaint Italian restaurant with excellent owners as hosts. Food was fantastic and the ambiance warm. Loved the meatballs, amazing. Would highly recommend
