It was simply Amazing!!
Table was reserved and ready upon arrival. Once seated, we had a waiter within 5-7 minutes and several others making sure we were okay throughout the evening. While the waiter was not very conversational or willing to explain menu items, he was very quick. Our meals were swapped upon arrival so unfortunately I ate some of my date’s meal before realizing it but everything was fresh and delicious! The drinks are strong and worth the price! I will be returning very soon. Excellent restaurant and experience!
We were disappointed in our dinner at Miro. While the ambience is unique and contemporary, the food left a little to be desired. Our server recommended the Branzino Filet, but it tasted fishy and the filet was very small. We did order the bread service, and were happy for the appetizer. Unfortunately, we will not be back to eat at Miro again.
The food was outstanding! We ordered the hummus, the roasted beet salad with avocado, burrata pizza, roasted cauliflower and the rigatoni with truffle butter. Can't wait to have them again. All were amazing with very fresh ingredients. The house-made ice cream was very creamy. Moira, our server, was lovely and gave good guidance when we had questions about the menu. It was quite noisy which made visiting at our table for six a little difficult. Didn't think to ask if the music could be turned down a little. Will ask next time because we loved the food.
The food was a bit salty for us, but the homemade pasta really surprised us.
Good food, good atmosphere, good service. What else do you need?
Everything was really good, from the welcome to the service to the food to the wine to the dessert. The one slight miss was the flatbread. The charcuterie was excellent. Our dinners were not varied -- 4 excellent steaks and a terrific branzino.
It was a quiet Monday night in the second half of dinner so there were only 7-8 tables going in the place -- we closed it. But I can see it having a more lively atmosphere earlier in the evening and on busier nights.
Have been. Here twice and both times we were very happy
At Miro, I had the best pasta that I have ever had. The squid ink corzetti with lobster was perfect. My wife's duck ravioli at Miro is the second best pasta I have had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The pasta taste good. But the portion of the main course (Sea Bass) is really small.
Great atmosphere, very attentive staff and very good food.
All items we tasted were delicious. The 4 cheese pizza was amazing along with the short ribs.
Good service and atmosphere. I was not impressed by the power lunch though.
We were greeted by the Owner’s Uncle who has 30 plus years of experience in the restaurant business. The food was fresh, innovative and delicious! We began with the Charcuterie plate. The bread that comes with it was hot and fresh, right out of the oven. The meat and olives were also fresh and delicious. They have a wonderful selection of cocktails and will modify them to your liking. I had Vodka substituted for Bourbon and the drink was perfect. They also have a great wine list and extensive selection of wine by the bottle. We moved from Charcuterie to our mains. We had the Sea Bass and Lobster Gnocchi. They were both fresh and delicious. The sides we chose were the Broccolini and the creamy Yukon potatoes. Neither side disappointed. Finally, for dessert the Panna Cotta was delectable and the French press coffee was spot on! I highly recommend Miro!
Miro is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. One of my best friends from San Francisco was in town visiting and is a true foodie so I wanted to take her somewhere I was sure she would like. Plus she is a whiskey aficionado and Miro has a beautiful bar downstairs that specializes in whiskies from around the world. We both really enjoyed our meal. Our favorite dish was the baked white sea bass which was delicious, but we weren’t so impressed with the beet salad which simply had too many things going on (olives, oranges, avocado). Service as always was friendly and attentive.
Pretty straight forward. The menu is directed towards the masses and the execution is fine. The place is a bit soulless.
On Mondays wines are half price. That was a pleasant surprise!
Took 30 minutes to take our order. Had to get up three times to get the waiters attention
I found Miro's to be a place that just didn't live up to the expectations...good food, but service was weak and the ambiance is just not that great...better restaurants in DTLA at the same price point
Consistently good business meeting spot with fast quality service. Three thumbs up.
Architecture is beautiful. Two course power lunch is the way to go. Soup was delicious as was the pastor. Pastor. Will definitely go
Had the cauliflower soup, which was delicious, however, my hamburger was too raw. Our waitress was attentive and very nice. I was disappointed that my bday request was ignored that I included on my reservation. My friend did not receive a bday wish, so I don't think I would return for a special occasion.
Attentive service, excellent menu selection and a pleasant, aesthetically pleasing dining environment
Very small portions. Make sure to order appetizer/soup/salad to start with.
Good food and perfect for business meetings. Good DTLA deal spot.
Off the bat, valet guy said he was closed when we tried to valet at 8 after calling the restaurant and telling us that they had valet. Everyone seemed to have an off night that night. Rigatoni pasta didn’t come out as great as I’d expected. (Tried it before and it was great, just not that night) server comp’d us (ty) and we left in less than 30 mins to go to another restaurant. Still love miro, but I feel like it was just an off night.
Our waitress/the manager was incredible when our order got mixed up. They fixed the issue so quickly and were great about it. The food was delicious.
Food was ok but some dishes were cold. Service was normal and a bit sub par. But great for noise level and veggies were good.
Consistently good, and a perfect "deal spot" in downtown LA in the middle of the Financial District.
Looks nicely done from outside. Arrived to a Completely empty restaurant with 2 more table full sad scene for Saturday night. Sat on a couch that was torn. Food was not as tasty. Cold flatbreads!!?! 😟 asked the server for pepper..never got it so here goes your service. Probably wnt go back!
I'm sad to say that this restaurant could be so much more if it wasn't for the poor quality of food. I got the Dry Aged NY Steak and my wife the Branzino. Both were simply low quality of meat and poorly prepared.
Everything else about this restaurant is great but the food was very disappointing.
2 month date before Cirque Du Soleil show at dodger Stadium.
Great food, super friendly staff.
The food was terrific — I brought a friend from Montreal which has great restaurants and *he* was impressed. Flavorful, varied menu, and exquisite service. Manager Hoss has created a wonderful environment. Great wine selection. I'd recommend this for regular business lunches and special lunches and dinners.
I received an email from restaurant for dineLA promo. The email didn’t indicate that the restaurant was only extending the dineLA menu option through Wed, 1/24 when the actual dineLA week was ending on Fri, 1/26. I think it was definitely misleading
The pizzas and beet salad were very good. Service was very slow. Not ideal if you are on a time schedule.
Restaurant was ok overall. Food ok, service ok, not excellent but not bad. Good for business meals
Went there for a very special occasion because of their on-line menu but upon arrival their printed menu had NOTHING that was on their website.
The hostess barley acknowledged us upon entering and the waitress took at least 10 minutes to come to our table.
When asking her why the menus don't reflected each-other, she simply replied "we have a new chef".
They made no effort to apologize or even acknowledge our frustration so we went next door and spent our $150.
We will never come back there.
