My guest had the potato leek soup vs the salad. I got the salad. The soup looked delicious. For such a nice place you expect the greens to be fresh. They weren't.

My guest and I were celebrating her birthday. The food was well seasoned and the presentation was outstanding. Tiramisu is not one of my favorite desserts, but Miro served the best tiramisu that I have every had. I will definitely return.

Came in the night before the LA Marathon for a carb filled dinner. Food was excellent. Service was quick and attentive.

Stopped in after work, had penecillins on the brain all day, something about my boss screaming and yelling all afternoon. I must say. I've sat at the bar at Miro twice and both times I had 3 drinks with the 3rd one always being free. Hell of a bartender. Miro Bartenders make the best penicillin outside of ETA in HLP. Always attentive and cool. For dinner I had the lamb chops with a kind of a baked sliced potato and creamed spinach. All of it was tasty especially the spinach. Lamb was tender but left me wanting more. All in all another great experience at Miro.

Food was amazing! Would definitely be back for the sensational quality of food, however, the service needs tweaking. The waiter would tend to one table at a time without lifting his head to check on other surrounding tables that needed refills, utensils, extra plates, the bill, etc.

Really wonderful dinner! I went here for a work dinner and had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff didn't rush us, the food was great and nicely spaced out, and the atmosphere was nice -- not too crowded, but still definitely felt festive and like people were there. Thank you so much to the whole team!

Very nice looking place, we came here for Valentine's day. Although we were late, they were happy to accommodate us. Price fixe menu, either short ribs or salmon, and they had run out of short ribs. However, the salmon was very good. My only complaint was that we were seated right near the entrance, which was cold and windy every time someone opened the door (which was often). Staff was friendly and experience was good.

No! This place was awful! Once seated, no one spoke to us for 15 mins! No water, nothing. Our waitress was oblivious, didn't get us our drinks and when she finally did, had no knowledge on the wines or whiskey. Our pasta was ice cold and our main course, the kitchen completely ran out of! We were there for an hour and a half and got absolutely nowhere with our meal. We ended up getting papusas from the food truck by our house since it was so late. Mind you, this was all for VALENTINE'S DAY.

Our experience wasn’t great, nor was it of the other people sitting near us. You were simply under-prepared and under staffed. You guys booked too many tables and the service suffered dramatically.

Went there for Valentines. Horrible experience!!! Got the first two courses after waiting 2 hours. Then the waitress told us that they are out of the main course!!! Left the restaurant without having our meal!!! Definitely a Valentines to remember!!! :((

Good set up. Service was terrible. We didn't receive drinks that were paired with our meal. It was hard to get anyone's attention. Staff was short and could not keep with guests that were booked.

My wife and I came to Miro for the first time for Valentine's Day. The food was good and we will come back at least once more. We are "foodies" and whether we add Miro to our regular list of restaurants will depend on the service. Miro was packed for Valentine's Day and the number of servers on duty was insufficient to meet the restaurant's needs that night resulting in waits between courses and drinks that was far too long. Eventually, I went to the bar to wait for drinks to be made and I noticed that several other customers then followed my example, confirming that I wasn't the only frustrated diner. Our server apologized and said that a couple of their "team members" had called in at the last moment to say they wouldn't be in that night. Whether that was due to illness, or their own Valentine's date nights or something else was not explained, but a restaurant simply cannot afford to be understaffed on a Valentine's Day Friday if they want to retain customers.

Valentine's Dinner reservations review:
1. The menu on Opentable did not match the menu from our dinner last night. My wife loves seabass, but last night's menu was for salmon. I should have just left then, but decided to stick it ou
2. The setting obviously had the quantity over quality vibe. Uneven tables and uncomfortable folding chairs were spaced evenly to maximize seating.
3. Service. Understaffed. We had 1 main server that seemed to have the entire basement level to herself. She did her best, but just couldn't keep up. It took 2 1/2 hrs. To get from amuse-bouche to dessert. Speaking of dessert; we ordered the affogat, but was served vanilla ice cream instead due to the espresso machine "blowing up". We did not get the option of choosing another dish (not that we would take it anyway I. Fear of another 30 min wait), instead the bowls were rushly place on our table for our server to make her quick getaway.
4. Noise level. The music was left on bar mode level where we had to yell at each other for Valentine's Day.

Poor choice on my part. Maybe try a dry run with my girlfriend first before taking my wife.

This was the absolute worst service I have ever received. After flying into town to take my lady to our Valentine’s Day dinner we were seated right away as we had reservations. But immediately following was where the poor service began. We were given our first course out of 5 courses right away. Followed by our salads. After waiting an hour for the server to come back I had to walk upstairs and ask for the manager. Where I was told that wouldn’t be possible.... I have never been told that in all my professional dining experiences. To make a very very long story short here we are 3 hours later not even finished with our meal because the waiter never came over nor did the check. We were sitting there for almost 4 hours till we decided this was the biggest waste of 4 hours of our lives and truly embarrassing for myself and my lady. And we weren’t the only couple that had this problem. There were about 5 other couples that were not getting service as well. I will never recommend this restaurant for anyone to dine at. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

They rushed a Prix Fixe meal that cost $200 for two people, on Valentine's. We clearly had half are food still on our plates and they were serving the second courses then same thing happened on third course, I'm talking 7 or 10mins, extremely rushed. Chef or Management were a disappointment on a special day like this. Sigh...

The worst experience ever! Booked a Valentine’s day at this restaurant and then reconfirmed it when I received an OpenTable reminder email only to arrive at the restaurant and to be told that my reservation was cancelled by them and that supposedly they had tried to call me. Showed my calls log to the manager and there was definitely no call from them. The manager didn’t even apologize nor propose another acceptable solution. What a way to spend Valentine’s day and what a way to end my trip to Los Angeles. Avoid this restaurant at all cost!!! They need a lesson in hospitality and service.
