Nice place, nice service, food was really good.
We had dinner fairly early on New Years Eve. We thought the food was great pasta bolognese, persimmon salad and butterscotch dessert. The pasta is made in-house and all the dishes were shareable. The wine selection was top notch-selected by a talented sommelier and even though the restaurant got busier as the evening got later our service was attentive. Miro is across from the Intercontinental hotel so an easy, delicious choice for out of towners.
Great food fun place with an excellent whisky lounge. Dining area is a bit noisy but food is awesome!!!
Fun place to meet up with friends for great drinks and food. Wonderful atmosphere up and downstairs and phenomenal staff.
Third time dining here. Enjoyed it each time. Great staff, food, and setting. So nice without the pretense you experience with so many LA restaurants now! Love it!
The service was very good, but was disappointed in the food. My friend and I each had the rigatoni that was recommended by the server, but it was bland and the pasta was overcooked.
I've good experiences in the past, and will try Miro again, but yesterday was not the best of experiences.
I would have given a 5 star but we went when the restaurant was completely booked. Therefore, we had to sit in the bar section on high bar table. We didn't like that. If they had told us this before reservation, we would have made other arrangements for dinner.
Our server and the food were great, otherwise.
Close to Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Love Miro every time!! Wonderful food , ambience and service!
This restaurant was so loud that I could not even carry on a conversation with my date. The food was very average and the seating was terrible. I will never go here again, a huge disappointment.
Noise level was loud making it difficult to hear my colleague.
I've been here twice and the service was extremely slow both times. I sat for 30 minutes before a waiter came to take my order. The food took forever (about 40 minutes for appetizers) and it was cold! They did accommodate by bringing fresher food for free but even that wasn't good.
This is a gorgeous restaurant but the service just doesn't live up to the ambiance.
The atmosphere was really cool, the food was pretty good but the waitress sucked, she was awful and we were 1 of 3 tables she had so I don’t know why our service was so bad. It was also my boyfriends birthday and when we told her for dessert she had an attitude and complained to another server about It. I’d give this place 1 more chance
Overpriced, food was cold and pasta was under cooked, and service was less than average.
The food was absolutely amazing. We were a little disappointed because we ordered the lasagna and spaghetti, and the waitress failed to mention how long the lasagna would take to bake. I was finished with my hand cut spaghetti by the time our lasagna came to the table. I also received my dessert before our dinner plates were removed.... Just little things like this really make or break a dining experience.
The food was mediocre but the worst part was truly the service. Hipster Italian place with terrible customer service and flavorless food (forces add a ton of paran to everything).
We eat at Miro 3-4 times a year. And decided to got to Dia De Los Muertos event as well. Amazing food amazing staff!
Nice looking restaurant and good service. 3 of our 4 dinners were good. One however was not good, Octopus was burned, not grilled, and much too spicy for my taste. Peaches(,in the peaches/burrata dish) we're not ripe.
Good business lunch spot.
We were in town for a special event and had the BEST time at Miro. Thank you for everything. I will definitely be coming back!!
The food was good, although they skimped on the protein and loaded up on the sides. I love the squid ink and lobster pasta, but all others were just okay. The part that gets me is how it takes over 45 minutes for food to come out. We ran out of water several times and the waitress took a while to notice. We stayed for almost 2 hours, and not by choice.
Great lunch in under an hour. Salad and pasta lunch speacials great and $26.
A very eclectic menu. Had the beet salad. Wow.....pistachios, avocados, and a great dressing. I ordered the NY steak. A very generous serving and cooked to medium rare perfection. Loved the brussel sprouts and cauliflower combination. Too full for dessert, but the choices looked heavenly. Will definitely return.
The food was awful! And very expensive for bad food. I had the sea bass which was severely over cooked and ruined, I could not eat it. We also ordered the squid ink pasta, it was flavorless! And the pizza was soggy in the middle! The white wine pour was small. We asked for salt on the margarita, it came without salt. The only good thing was the spicy octopus and the charcuterie ( hard to ruin that one). All of this was $300!
The service was good, but the chef should be embarrassed to send out such bad plates. And this was at 5:45 pm on a Saturday, place was almost empty. We went early because we had opera tickets. We are never going back.
This restaurant is gorgeous outside and in. They have a wonderful whiskey selection and somolier on staff to help you order. BUT they were playing the strangest 80s music that didn’t match the vibe at all...for example the “I’m your Venus your desire” song. (Doesn’t that just remind everyone of shaving anyways?). Our waitress said everything was “really good” and wasn’t super informed. The menu was underwhelming and confused. The rigatoni and octopus were good, but many other items were just meh. My two cents - go for the alcohol and maybe a few small plates.
This was an excellent meal with great service. I would certainly return.
The waiter was good when we saw him. He was quite busy The restaurant was extremely loud throughout our entire dinner.
The appetizers, pasta dishes and dessert were very good, especially the octopus dish. The meat dishes were average. The design and decor of the restaurant was cool. The downstairs bar and secret vault room is worth checking out. I imagine it'd be a nice space to throw a small intimate party with friends (dark lit ambience). Bar tenders downstairs were very nice and friendly. The staff were all very nice and courteous. We had RSVP's for Saturday night for 5:30 pm. We were practically the only ones there and for some reason they would only seat us at the two tables right behind the receptionist/ front door. We asked if we could take any of the empty tables of booth further into the restaurant and were declined the request. We left at close to 7 pm, and at that point, the restaurant only had 2-3 other tables occupied. Not sure why they wouldn't give us better seating considering that the restaurant was 80% empty the entire time we were there. Regardless, the food was great and the staff were nice.
Planning for a group dinner was extremely easy. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails!
The evening was going well until we were served our actual dinner. It’s all came out at various times and I ask to speak to the manager. After the last meal at a table for six was delivered 15 minutes after the previous meal the waitress asked if I’d still like to see the manager. Classy place that isn’t so classy. The alleged manager never even came over to see how we were doing and it was obvious he did not want to be there. I travel a lot to L.A. and will not be able to recommend this place.
It was a group of 6 and it was all our first time. We all enjoyed the food, some obviously more than the others. Purchased about every entre so we could all try a little bit of everything on the menu. The sea bass, herb lamb, chicken, & ribs were great! We all definitely loved the shrimp and polenta! I would come back.
The food wasn´t as good as to charge what ir was on the Menu.
It´s more towards a ceffeteria
We ate outside so it wasn’t as loud as inside except when a fire truck went by with its sirens on.
The Caesar salad was the best. I would go back solely for this salad. I was bummed out about the 'Steak & Frites'. The fries were great but the steak was bland. I don't think i even tasted salt or pepper but I'll definitely go back for the Caesar salad and fries.
Seems like a new restaurant that has a lot of kinks to still work out.
For the price and hype, the food and service weren't very good. Took forever to bring the food, which the server aknowledged, but when I asked for bread to tide us over, he was going to charge us.
The octopus and corn appetizers came out lukewarm & dry, as did the fish entree. When the fish went back half-eaten ( at $30) we told him why. We then ordered coffees and dessert, and when the bill came the restaurant did nothing to compensate for the delays and other problems. Not good. To finish off, the next day OpenTable wrote to ask why we were a no-show. Come ON. Not going back.
One of my favorite lunch spots, and their Spaghetti is my usual... however, today, there was something very "off" about the Spaghetti. It was very watery and soggy...
We did not experience anything. The establishment was close when we got there. Open Table should know when the restaurant is not operating on a certain day and not send confirmation of the reservation. We should’ve just called instead of using this app. We were so disappointed.
The grilled peaches were awesome, as has just about everything I’ve had whenever I’ve gone here before...
