Delightful on every level. Outstanding food. Not too spicy, but love the depth of flavors. Exceptional margarita.
Food and service were great, as usual. We tried the bead pudding this time and loved it!!!
Wonderful food & service! They accommodated ou
I love the food here! I have brought numerous friends here and have always enjoyed it! The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the entire experience is always more than pleasant.
Great meal, drinks, atmosphere and service.
The food was expensive and nowhere near as good as even Mi Cocina (which is not my fav). No brunch menu or mimosas for Saturday morning? Yikes. I ordered a $12 combo plate. My cheese enchilada was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. Just a clump of cold shredded cheese in a tortilla. Yikes. My date asked for veggies instead of rice and beans and said it would be a $6 upcharge. I get an upcharge but $6?! Three yikes, you're out.
We love Miriam Cocina- Mexican is overplayed in Dallas but this has a Dominican spin and so good. Love the spinach queso, ceviche and shrimp tacos are soooo good! Miriam will take great care of you— great service and fun vibe.
Food was delicious and the experience was fantastic. The chef/owner Miriam deserves all the accolades!!
One of our "go-to" favorites for Sunday brunch and special occasions.
Food was great variation on Tex Mex but with more central american influence. This was our first time and we'll be back. The service was a bit over bearing / overly attentive but nothing too extreme.
Excellent experience. Everything was savory and delicious. Service was great too. Highly recommend- will not disappoint.
Wonderful date night at Miriam’s. The food and drinks were delicious and meeting Miriam personally was an absolute pleasure.
Terrific location near Klyde Warren Park downtown. The bright, airy space makes it feel like you are in the park. We enjoyed chicken mole enchiladas, brisket tacos and chicken tostones. Delicious Mexican and Latin dishes with interesting twists. A great option for a meal before or after an event in the Arts District.
The first time was bad, but wanted to give it a second chance since it had just opened. We had a reservation at 8:15 and the host told us it would be 15 to 20 minutes more when we arrived. We went to the bar and ordered drinks. After 10 minutes, we didn’t have our water or margaritas, so we left and won’t be giving it a third shot. If you want the same food, but trained servers, go to Mesero. It’s a total copy.
Delicious! Would come back again when in town
Loved Miriam’s new restaurant! I had the cabrito which was “muy delicioso”. My wife had the puerco rojo which she also enjoyed. The margaritas were divine and potent. Eddie, our server, was muy amable and we got to meet Miriam on our way out. We’ll be back soon!
Love this restaurant. Great food and atmosphere and everyone is so nice. Chef Miriam is there a lot and always comes by to say hello. Very gracious.
Have eaten at Miriam's twice now. Food is great and attentive service. Something though is still missing and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe ambiance, or lighting issues. Could be darker at night for a more comfortable and cozy dining experience.
I has chicken enchilada with tomatillo sauce that I thought was excellent, accompanied by a shrimp taco which very good. The Bloody Mary was a little spicy but quite good.
We somehow hadn't heard of this awesome place before and only randomly discovered it when looking for a restaurant downtown. Their patio is right across the street from Klyde Warren Park so there was a lot of action and energy with all of the people passing by.
We started with their Queso and initially thought that they made a mistake when what they brought out was the color green. However, the server quickly informed us that it was in fact cheese but green due to it being mixed with a little bit of spinach. And although it appeared different, it tasted delicious. So much so that we ended up ordering a second one for the table.
They had a thorough drink with a lot of the typical Mexican staples as well as a wider fine Tequila list that they brought out to the table upon our request.
For main course we all ordered separate dishes off the menu and everybody at the table loved what they ordered. Finally closed out the meal by splitting their Dulce de Leche dessert. And just like everything else at Miriam, it was just delightful.
So glad to find this place. We'll be back!
Wonderful meal. The service and food were excellent Along with a fun vibe. Miriam even came to our table to thank us for dining there and check on our satisfaction. Will definitely be back.
Great spot for events in the arts district.
Great place! Excellent food and environment!
The service is excellent. The food is very good. Super convenient. Great for a quick lunch or stay and hang out. Miriam greets you at the door and is so gracious! Highly recommend!!
Great ambiance, great food, amazing staff, and cute décor. Miriam came and greeted our table which was a great touch to the restaurant. Would highly recommend!
Third visit and still wonderful. Miriam is always on the floor greeting customers with her amazing smile and warmth.
A fun place! Great service and excellent food! Highly recommend.
Fantastic food and ambiance for a family dinner or girlfriends brunch. We also got to meet Chef Miriam and is fantastic too 💕
Miriam's came recommended from a hotel staff member and we we're not expecting anything until we were greeted with a smile sat down and immediately the service began which was nothing but at standing with food and drink recommendations and when it arrived it was the most incredible tasty and fresh food from the ceviche to the insanely amazing coconut creme brulee dessert.
Miriam's is a must for any Dallas visitors who want fresh tasty well priced and good service restaurant
Great good and service
The waiter made excellent suggestions and the food did not disappoint.
Started with the guacamole. Generous serving with plenty for four people and it was excellent. Lots of fresh lemon and seasoned just right. Three of us had the salmon tacos and they were delicious. Nice big chunks of salmon with a mildly spice sauce and crunchy cabbage. The star of the meal however was a chicken mole enchilada. Best mole sauce I have ever tasted! Even if you think you don't like mole, you should try it here. Smoky, spicy, slightly sweet with a hint of cloves. Lots of layers of flavors. The chef came out and talked with us for a bit and seemed genuinely pleased that we had enjoyed our meal. Interesting decor and attentive staff. Definitely worth a return visit.
Pleasant environment across from Klyde Warren Park. Nice energy to the establishment . Guacamole was very good. Margaritas great. Look forward to eating at the bar on the next visit, seating there looks very comfortable and engaging
I’ve been wanting to check out this restaurant for some time now and finally made the reservation for a date night with my wife. Absolutely enjoyed every experience at this establishment. The food was outstanding to go along with the superb service. Even had the pleasure of meeting the owner/chef in person when she came by the table and chatted with us for a bit. I’m telling everyone that they have to come to this place and enjoy what we enjoyed. Please keep up the great job and don’t ever change Miriam!
Great food and attentive service.
Love Miriam!!! She’s amazing- great food, service and atmosphere!!!
Third time at Miriam Cocina, and everything was great once again. Chili con carne enchiladas were perfection, the sweet plantains are phenomenal.
Great service. Miriam herself greeted us.
Date with wife. Everything was great.
