The view is fantastic .
I love this restaurant. It is so peaceful eating on the patio. It is right on the water overlooking the Statue of Liberty. Their seafood choices are fresh and delicious.
Another outstanding time at Miramar. Thank you staff.
Beautiful evening with a view
Miramar was the perfect spot right on the waterfront, in a quiet area of the city. The food was superb (everyone in my party had seafood, three of us indulged in the seafood linguine, delicious!) and service was excellent. Reasonably priced and large portions. We sat outside and had a view of the Statue of Liberty and enjoyed watching the sunset over the water during our meal.
Loved it! Excellent scenery, great food and nice service. We always walk by but are glad we finally decided to stop in.
Returned here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. This is also the same spot where I proposed to my wife. The food, drinks and service were great!! The view was beautiful and we had a romantic walk by the water after dinner. The staff gave us a special dessert and Prosecco treat on the house. It is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion.
Highly disappointed. After reading stellar review I was looking forward to try Miramar. They got all the orders wrong. I ordered seafood kabob but it wasn’t grill, and my coworker who got seafood rice got the seasoned seafood
The place was empty and it was just the six of us.. so not sure why they couldn’t get the order right.
Food was average and service was hit or miss. Very nice people, but too many other fantastic restaurants to settle for food that is not exceptional.
Food was very good, but the table outside on the sidewalk was quite crooked and leaning down on the one side. It was difficult to balance the silverware on your side plate and our large wine glasses kept slipping. Would recommend, but suggest inside.
Great selection of seafood dishes, fast service, amazing view, and very friendly staff!
The experience was amazing . The manager was easily able to accommodate and recommend great options . One of my best dining experiences by far.
Food was very good, although we were charged dinner prices for a late lunch. AC was not working inside so we sat outside. Service was good.
Great service, Wonderful views. Food was also very good. Nice fish selection.
Disappointing. Nicest thing about this restaurant was the view. Table was dirty asked for it to be cleaned and for proper place settings. Planning on spending a relaxing evening and left as our appetizers took an hour. Did not order entrees. Understaffed and Server not attentive. Walked along waterfront and found another restaurant.
Good sea food manu, I liked the spaghetti with shells and shrimp . Stuff was v friendly.
Beautiful day to eat outside. We started with monitors, which were good but weak. Assorted Greek appetizer was average. The tabouli was the best item on the plate but there was not enough for four people. The pita bread was stale. I had the stuffed shrimp and it was excellent! My husband had the assorted kabobs. He said it was average. Our friends both had seafood over pasta. Also just average. We shared baklava. Needs more honey. The waiter was very nice and accommodating.
I was stunned upon arrival that there was no air conditioning indoors. Instead, it was open air with all windows/doors thrown open. It gets better once you sit down of course,
Great location, with view of the Hudson River and the Statute of Liberty. Food was alright but not impressive.
Waiting half hour for drinks, whole hour for appetizers only for there to be a hair in the food. Had the service been better I probably would’ve asked for replacement but decided to go somewhere else.
Great food in a beautiful setting with views of Statue of Liberty.
This was just extraordinary- we went to lunch based on the recommendation of a friend who was there a couple weeks ago.
1. No lunch menu today - when we asked for it, they said they were only doing the dinner menu today (at 1:00)
2. We ordered and 3 of ordered dishes w eggplant - 15 minutes later we were told they had no eggplant
3. 45 minutes later not one stop of good had been delivered - we all had ordered salads-
We ended up leaving after 1 hour and a half with out eating
We had recommended Miramar to 30 ppl on our trip - based on the recommendation- everyone was pretty unhappy
As NJ ppl who frequent the city - we will share our experience-
I love this place and go often. The food is always good. Their fish is terrific and very well prepared. Besides, it is literally one of the best views in the world. You look straight out at the Statue of Liberty. What is better than that--- great food, great staff, incredible view.
Chicken principassa was delicious. Chicken was molst among delicate flavors
Great service, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely would go back.
Had a great dining experience at Miramar. The staff was very friendly and professional from the moment we walked in until it was time to leave. Pair that with great food and an absolutely dazzling view, you just can't ask for more. Will definitely be coming back for seconds!
Great overall experience. Food, service, atmosphere , price etc....
The staff is knowledgeable and the owners warms and hospitable. I enjoyed my experience and will share this with others.
Lovely spot right by the water! Fresh delicious food we enjoyed with our group of friends
Service was fantastic- the food was just ok. But the view and atmosphere by the water can’t be beat.
Amazing place to eat in Manhattan, the view is spectacular, the food and the service are excellent.
We had few appetizers and drinks and eve with drinks and everything came really quick.
If you’re a looking to have a family time or even a romantic date this place is your best option.
The waitress and hostess makes us feel really comfortable as we were home.
This restaurant is a true gem in New York.
100% recommend, we definitely are going back with my while family.
The location of the restaurant is great. It was very relaxing looking at the river and sipping on a nice drink. However, the service was horrible. It took 30 minutes to get drinks, 45 minutes to get appetizers and about an hour for the entree. Although they apologized and stated that they had an electricity issue, but it’s unacceptable to wait so long for a meal. Electricity is not required to prepare and serve a salad. As for the food, it was average, nothing to brag about.
We made a reservation well in advance for outside seating. When we got here the host, seemingly the owner, said it would be a wait so we sat inside. The wait for each course was excessive. We sat at 7:20 and left at 10:00pm. The waiter forgave some of our bill without being asked which was nice, and we had a nice time. But overall for a place that should be able to handle Saturday night traffic, couldn’t handle it. Food worth it, but expect to wait. All the tables around us did too.
Service was slow and non-attentive, food took long and ultimately was cold when finally served. Sent back one of the plates, and I only ate the other because I was so hungry by the time we received the dinner.
This feedback was shared with the owner and waitress. Owner apologized but offered no relief on the bill (which I also did not ask for andjust paid the bill in full minus the returned plate).
The best seafood and overall dining experience I’ve had in some time. The service was impeccable and the menu options were plentiful. We chose a few specials and some items off the menu and everything was flavorful and the portions were outstanding.
The staff made sure we had water and drinks throughout our stay and were very knowledgeable with all the menu options and attentive to all our needs. We completed our night with great desserts and after dinner drinks.
Will definitely recommend and be revisiting with others.
Thank you Miramar for a great night.
Tony served us, gave us some laughs, and was great overall.
Thank you Tony for making it a great day!

There was merely any service, waiting forever for the missing set of silverware and was told by a supervisor or manager that was because our waitress does not speak English...It took almost 90 mins for the food to come out and cold. Very disappointed.
Food was well-prepared though too salty. Would be helpful if menu or wait staff described the sauces atop the grilled fresh fish (e.g., peppercorn on the tuna).
Service was gracious and professional.
We will return!
We frequently eat lunch and sometimes dinner at this great place. The food is continuously good. Their seafood is very fresh and superior as Aldo the owner knows his fish. His wife Una knows how to cook Mediterranean. We get great service from Shadi, Tony, Shref and Saul.
We have tried pretty much everything from soup to appetizers and main dishes one cannot go wrong.
Our waiter was excellent. The atmosphere was stunning!
Lunch - on a Friday. No one else around the first 30 minutes or so. Had to wait at least 30 minutes to get the 3 sandwiches - they had just opened. A pleasant young man took our orders - did bring drinks and disappeared - we were sitting outside. Didn’t see him again until check time.
Lackluster food. Setting is beautiful - too bad.
