Great food, ambience. They graciously split shared ditches in the kitchen at no charge. Greeted warmly by owner.
We went for mothers day and had a really nice time, honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had.
Second time at the restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the minute you walk in you feel welcomed. Love the ambience. Service was fantastic. Food was wonderful. Had the scallops with oyster mushrooms that was cooked to perfection. The profiteroles was so good
Would recommend going to this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
Food; muscles, side dishes were over-cooked. Our waiter was great at the beginning, then the place got busier and he seemed to forget about us. Ambience was perfect and most food items were very good!
Miramar is my husband's favorite restaurant. We frequent it for date nights or dinners with friends. It's got great food, a great bartender, and a wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend!
The table a joke. The table was a round no more than2 ft in diameter stuck in a back corner. The place settings so close they overlapped so the cutlery from one setting was overlaid next to the other . We had to place the menus on the seats because there was no room. A candle, water glasses, 2 drinks glasses, a bread basket and two bread plates with cutlery and menus on a 2 ft round table. Ridiculous. Noisy, loud. So many other choices in the area. . Don’t waste your money. Well known but wayyyy overrated. Haven’t been there for a while and now I know why I don’t go.
A neighborhood gem that never disappoints.Outstanding mussels and lyonnaise salad.
What great burgers!
Excellent food and services at "above market" prices.
This is just a place I flat-out like. The food is good, but beyond that, it excels in ambiance, attentive service, and a great Hemingway daiquiri. We decided to go there recently to celebrate an anniversary, and it was an excellent choice. Not fancy, but sophisticated with a great French-Cuban vibe.
Excellent food and French themed ambiance. Enjoyed the steak/frites
We've come for several Easter brunches over the years. Didn't seem the buffet table was as bounteous as it has been in the past.
We enjoyed our mimosas and bloodies, but wow, had no idea of the price. Will probably skip those next time. Didn't notice drink price was posted anywhere.
It was a lovely little spot and service was good. For the price the buffet could have been more robust. Very expensive Sunday buffet but we may try again for lunch or diner
Lovely Easter brunch, outstanding service!
I enjoy this restaurant but would really like to see a little more space inbetween the tables. You are literally sitting NEXT to the table next to you. There is no sense of privacy.
We love this place so much that we had our wedding reception here last summer
A long-standing fixture in Highwood that improves with age. Menu is limited because preparations are innovative and unusual. But always beautifully done and presented well.
Food, staff and ambiance are always awesome. Highly recommended 💪🏽🥂
We always enjoy Miramar. It's French food with a Cuban twist. Great escargots, cocktails, skatewing.
I love this place--it's always consistently excellent!
Always 5 stars. Attentive service, wonderful food, great cocktails/wine. Always consistent. Took friends who had never been and they loved it. Thanks for another wonderful dinner. We will be back again soon.
Best mussels we have ever had. Enough to share. Lamb shank was so delicious and tender.
Went to Miramar for the oyster festival. We were presented with a dozen oysters each, each oyster from a different location. Six were from the east coast and six were from the west coast. Outstanding! Then had the macaroni and cheese. It was very cheesy and delicious. Service was superb. An all around excellent experience.
Great food, great service, great ambiance. We'll be back!
It was a fantastic dinner. The food was amazing and Omar our waiter was great! We will definitely be back.
Excellent menu and wine list. The diversity of choices is good and the ambiance is very enjoyable. Plus, very easy parking.
We have visited Miramar many times and found the food VERY good. This time, the Dover sole was very disappointing. Over sauced and very salty. Service was nice. We noted that a birthday was being celebrated. But none of the wait-staff noticed.
First time here...we will be back
Very disappointing food, based on Gabriels original place and especially based on the menu prices. Staff worked reasonably hard but didn’t know the menu and there were meaningful gaps in service. All in all a pretty disappointing experience and I would not recommend this place compared to multiple other options in the area.
Great dinner, nice atmosphere
Great for celebrating special occasions with family and friends...also great date night dinner for married couples.
Always an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Just enough tempting things to choose from on the menu. Service is outstanding. Oh, and did I mention the bread? ❤
You never disappoint, thank you!
Food was great. Server was a little pushy at first, then disappeared for long periods of time, so we weren’t too happy with the service.
The food is always top notch. At this visit we were there for dinner a bit later than we usually go and the noise level was very high.
We love sitting at the bar and eating a great meal while drinking Ricard. Miramar is an all time favorite!
We’ve been planning to come to Miramar for a long time and finally made it. The service was outstanding. The food even better. The overall experience was warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back.
Food was excellent prices were fair. Service was a little slow during lunch time. Restaurant was not crowded it was Valentine’s Day. I would definitely go back! It’s worth it.😊
