Warm, personal service and perfection in food quality and presentation always impress and leave me wanting to return. Mirador is a gem.
Great experience. From it’s unique entry through the scent shoppe on the 1st level to the patios that wrap around both sides with a view over the park, Mirador is a unique restaurant even in Dallas. The dishes are creative and flavorful, the setting quiet and relaxing. Every dish was excellent and the service was superb.
Great patio dining.
We have had several business meals here and it’s perfect!
Food is good, but the East Coach Catch was obscenely small for $36. I thought the actual fish portion was small, it was fair, but they definitely need to add to the side vegetable offering. It was essentially just two brussel sprouts split and barely 1/4 cup chopped fennel. I did notice if you ordered a sandwich - those seemed to be huge, but I am not a sandwich person. The flavors and quality of the food was fantastic, and there servers could not be any better. I do very much enjoy it at Mirador, but I do think some of the portions can be sized up.
Mirador is an experience. Food is very good, but mostly the byword is -- "inventive." Everything the four of us had was excellent and very original and inventive. Novel. That's very appealing and we will certianly go back. The ambiance, the view of downtown -- all nice and interesting. It was all in all a very nice experience. My favorite was the tomato soup. But, I must say it was even nice to get a Lonestar, -- even if in stemware. A nice touch. Don't go here if your thing is a huge burger with fries, or BBQ ribs. Be ready to experience something different.
Went to try a new experience, also was my birthday dinner. The food was not very good which I was sad cause I was very excited
Mine and my daughter’s favorite place to enjoy a special lunch. Delicious food; impeccable service; beautiful venue; easy in/easy out. We love this place!
The Mirador is a must for everyone given it is on the top of one of the newest specialty stores. The drive-up appeal is exceptional, however I thought the ambiance for lunch was underwhelming.
Great service, great food, and great view! Sit on the patio if the weather is nice!
Our server was amazing. We enjoyed our dinner, but it was a little pricy for the portion size. Only complaint I have is that the sparkling water was not complimentary, we should have been advised that every time a new bottle was brought to the table we were charged for it.
Great Art Deco restaurant and quite. I would say the food was over priced for what it was but it was very good. Drinks were well made.
Great food, view, and service!
We had a girls college reunion. We stayed at the Joule. Only four of us and enjoyed the space and drinks as it is a very beautiful restaurant with great cocktail menu but the food is overpriced, unflavored, limited and uncreative selection. There were only 4 other tables in the restaurant filled so I assume it has had other bad reviews. Waitress was nice but service was not very quick either as it took a while to get our food. We were puzzled because it was so empty.
It is a shame the food is not better because it is so beautiful.
Food was good, decor was lovely, and service was excellent.
Always such a fun place! Love the faro bowl and the tomato soup. Scrumptious!
Wonderful for lunch, brunch or dinner! Food is excellent!
Loved it! Pretty food, delicious to taste and really fantastic service.
Really enjoyed our food and evening at Mirador. We were slightly disappointed with the service. We felt the waitress wasn’t as attentive as she could have been and the bartender didn’t acknowledge us at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready and then once we sat we received our appetizers prior to receiving our cocktails. A bachelorette party also was dining there and the noise level definitely impacted the over all ambiance. The food was fabulous and overall were satisfied with our experience.
Very relaxed and beautiful environment
Delicious, thoughtfully prepared food
Nice, unrushed service
Quiet enough to have a meaningful conversation
How thoughtful of you to cut up my guests chicken pieces since her arm was not good.
More of a ladies' place, but good food and service. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed our lunch.
Awesome - my favorite restaurant in all the Metroplex!
An elegant, modern city setting, beautiful artwork, delicious food, great service!
One of our favorites in Dallas, our table butler Lucy is always very attentive and welcoming. Food and wine options are excellent. The bar is worth a visit too, the decor and the little intimate seating areas are cosy, yet sophisticated. We definitely recommend the whole experience.
First, great facility. Minimally, but tastefully decorated. Interesting cocktail list with drinks expertly made. Like many restaurants, you sit a your table for a while without any bread or bites of any kind. (Restauranteurs really need to solve this. Be creative.) When we finally decided what we were going to order we selected the ricotta toast appetizer which was excellent and sufficient for 4 person sharing, and the four of us had two pasta dishes and two fish dishes. All flavors were good but the presentation and quantity of tuna left something to be desired. Broccoli, asparagus and tater tots were all well made and tasty sides. Wine list somewhat limited but not a problem. A bit on the expensive side so it gets a high recommendation only for the expense account customer and a mid-high for others.
Beautiful venue, fabulous service and delicious food. It was a perfect place for a graduation lunch.
Super fun spot for a medium size group. The service was super friendly and they were very nice to the one vegan in the group. The bartender was fantastic. We would highly recommend.
Appetizers were delicious. Entrees came out late and cool/cold. Rebecca did a great job serving, but was stymied by kitchen snafus.
We went to Mirador for Mother's Day and it wowed the whole family. The staff was friendly, authentic, and anticipated all of our needs. We loved the seafood plateau and the pastry buffet. The room is comfortable and well designed. There is a great view of downtown buildings- and especially fun is the view of people swimming in the Joule's pool down the street.
Food is very good and ambience is great. Service was outstanding. Would definitely go back for a great date night or couples dinner.
Sometimes when you dine for the first time at a restaurant that you have heard of you do not know what to expect. Well this was an absolutely great experience, the room was very comfortable with view of downtown and the food was as good a meal as we’ve had anywhere in Dallas this year. The service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will see you again soon
Our first time here and we were impressed. The whipped ricotta toast is beyond awesome as was the pasta dish we ordered. The drinks "madame coco" was probably one pf the best drinks I had to date. Would like to see more vegetarian options on the menu though. Loved the ambiance and service.
My mother was in town for Mother’s Day. This place was spectacular to take her. The service and food were exceptional! Can not wait to go back
One of my favorite lunch spots
With its floor to ceiling windows the view of the city is great. The food presentation, and taste were both good as well as unique. The staff were all very easy to work with so no problems there. The ambiance is also very relaxing. The prices were fair considering where you are eating. I will definitely go back.
Mirador was a great upscale place with reasonable prices. I enjoyed the food and views. The plating was almost too pretty to eat, and the servers were really attentive and nice. I highly recommend stopping by when in Dallas.
Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere. We sat out on the patio with a nice view of the Joule Hotel.
They were very accommodation for my birthday. I appreciate it.
Mirador is a lovely place perched on top of the best shopping experience in town! Beautiful views and great ambience. I have only had lunch there so I cant' speak for the dinner experience. Really nice wine list, deviled eggs were divine as was the tomato soup. I had the cobb salad which was really good. It was a little different than the regular cobb most of us are used to, but Mirador is not a regular place! My only complaint was the the bacon crumbles were out of a bag like I buy at the grocery store and not chopped bacon pieces. Other than that it was a lovely experience. My second time in for lunch, and I will be back!
