Mirabelle by Georges B.
We always have special, sometimes lobster, seabass, frog legs………...
A great place for dinner in downtown Miami. Close to rail transit; I took Metrorail from Coconut Grove and then Metromover afterward to the Arsht Center. Thoughtful, satisfying preparations of French classics. Warm, gracious service. Comfortable ambiance. A gem.
Delicious and outstanding
The food was superb, exactly what you would hope for in a high end French restaurant, but at a reasonable price. The staff was engaged and accommodating, and Chef George’s B stopped by for a short chat. The ambiance could use a face lift, however. Upon arriving at the restaurant we almost left, because as we entered we had the feeling that we were walking into a store front diner. An improvement in the decor and layout would help place this restaurant squarely into the high end category.
All n all, really glad we chose to stay!
The best food and service Great place
We loved the Trout with mushrooms
Hidden gem on 1st Street. So welcoming with European ambiance. Terrific food and amazing desserts. Like having a private French chef for a Saturday evening dinner. We found prices far under the value of the cuisine. That dining experience should have cost 35% more.
Thank you Georges and team. Exceptional evening.
We had a wonderful meal and overall fine dining experience at Mirabelle, with delicious dishes perfectly prepared in a French style and artfully presented in lovely surroundings. This was not our first visit, and we shall continue to return, since each meal we've had prepared by Chef Georges Berger has been superb. On Saturday we had two main courses that were specials, and they were indeed special, but the items on the main menu are consistently delicious too. The wine list is broad and prices reasonable. Since our last visit, the restaurant has arranged for free valet parking across the street (on Thurs. Friday, & Sat. after 6--look for the umbrella under the arcade), which is not only convenient, but it definitely eliminates parking as a factor in the price of dining in the evening at one of Miami's nicest restaurants. The arrangement of the dining area also helps to keep it quiet, so that it is a place to dine when you want to have a quiet conversation and hear others in your group at the table. Mirabelle is an accessible jewel in downtown Miami.
What a gem in downtown Miami! I can't say anything bad about Mirabelle as my husband and I enjoyed our visit there immensely. We were visiting from NYC and thus have the best French restaurants in the world here. Mirabelle compares favorably with them and at a marvelous value. I had the salmon with warm lentil salad. Loved the salmon; would have liked more warmth in the lentil salad. My husband went for the double lamb chops and wow they were delicious. Pommes frites were added by us and they were done to perfection. A special word of appreciation to the waiter -- what a wonderful attentive waiter. His recommendations were on spot and he was a delightful conversationalist without being a bother. Please go to Mirabelle!
Everything we ordered was very good. The chef/owner came out to introduce himself and talk to us. A nice thing to do. Our friends loved it and we will all come back and bring other friends.
The Best Kept Secret in Miami.
The food is amazing, the desserts are spectacular, the service is excellent and professional, the menu selection is perfect, the decor is beautiful, the ambiance is very warm, the price is just right and affordable.
A real French Chef, who cares about every details and especially the customer experience in his place.
I have been there maybe 12 times since they have opened .I was always delighted and never disappointed.
Probably, one of the best restaurant in Miami if not THEE best.
Thank you Chef Georges!!!
This place is a true gem! Authentic French food. When you look out the glass windows, you feel like you’re in a big city. The service is phenomenal. Didier is so welcoming & chef George is a delight. He hails from the gastronomic capital of France, Lyon, and it’s obvious that he loves to cook & entertain. We started with champagne, followed by Côte d’Rhone red wine. All delicious & moderately priced. Appetizers included scallops & shrimp in cheesy bechamel. Entrees were trout & filet mignon, perfectly cooked. I was hesitant to order the trout, fearing it might be fishy. But, oh my! What a refined, delicious & delightful dish! The piece de resistance was the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Big enough for two to share. It comes out in a cooper cassoulet & chef poured cream anglaise table side for us. Overall, a delightful evening. We loved it! Only recommendation would be to perhaps include more seafood dishes in the entrees, such as langostines, dover sole or lobster. Menu posted on Opentable mentions several lobster dishes & risotto, which were not available. I’d encourage the management to update online menu, sine I was expecting to eat certain items that were not on the menu. Chef mentioned he may add more soufflé flavors in the future. A cheese soufflé appetizer would really take this place over the top. There are not many authentic French places in Miami. Francophiles, rejoice! This is a great find & hopefully will stick around for a while.
The best French restaurant in Miami 😋😋😋👍👍👍
Truly excellent French Cuisine. Love, love, love this place. Excellent dinner, well-paired wine list, and pastries to die for. Flawless service. However high your standards, this restaurant will not disappoint. ( If you have your French mother-in -law visiting you, take note.)
Excellent trout dish for lunch. Happy to add a new place to my rotation of quality downtown restaurants.
Absolutely delicious authentic French food!!! Beautiful inside and friendly staff. Best scallops with pistachios and really excellent fresh bread. We went before a memorable concert performance at the historic Olympia theater.
Highly recommend this restaurant❣️
Service was more than outstanding. Fois gras app was excellent, as was the escargot. The duck entree was very good. The lamb was good on flavor, one chop was undercooked, but overall dinner was great. Lots of potential. The chocolate souffle was cooked perfectly, just needs more chocolate. I will be back next time I'm in Miami.
If you are looking for traditional french cuisine, this is your place! I've been meaning to visit Mirabelle for a while and we went for a quick dinner. Very good traditional french cuisine, will definitely be back to try more from the menu. My favorite was Poellée d’escargots, beurre d’10ail persillé, on puff pastry shell and it's because I love good puff pastry and combines with escargots it has taken it to the next level. We had as well Sauteed trout filet Nantua and Onglet de boeuf grillé á l’échalotte, which were both very good!
Will definitely be back for more puff pastry and to try other main entrees from the menu!
Great meal. Had a wonderful time with friends.
Everything was amazing! The service, ambiance, live music, and of course the food! Best lobster tail ever!
What a surprise when we walked into this restaurant....awesome food and staff... Definitely going back.
I returned a second time to this restaurant before I departed the Miami metro area. The quality of the food is simply mouthwatering. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience and the wait staff are excellent.
I was visiting Miami on vacation, and wanted to try out a new restaurant, and Open Table pointed me to this French restaurant. The food was mouthwatering, and the wait staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely dinner at this new French restaurant in downtown. Excellent food, nice atmosphere and good servic.
Real French food !
Excellent place, the food is really good, the decoration cosy and classy and the staff very friendly and ready to help.
The music is not too loud like in many places in town where you cannot speak with your neighbor and the AC is not too cold which is very agreable !
