I celebrated my birthday there with my sisters and brother. The food and drink was wonderful! We had banana foster for dessert. Ernesto was our waiter and took great care of us. The waiters sang Happy Birthday to me!

The food is delicious authentic Italian dishes. It has a warm, inviting, friendly atmosphere with excellent service! I had shrimp de Jong, really tasty, and my friend had chicken vesuvio which he really enjoyed. I look forward to going back again, for sure!

Ok but nothing special, particularly in Chicago where we have so many outstanding Italian restaurants. Bread was dry, hard and stale, potatoes were crisp at edges but uncooked in the middle, entrees were large and tasted ok but again, nothing special. There was only one other party in the dining room but the room was loud and conversation difficult. Two stars, one and done.

The gluten-free pasta is always perfectly prepared, and the grilled calamari is amazing. The service is consistently wonderful. We love to eat outside on the patio when the weather's nice.

Nice family Italian restaurant. Originally I wanted to go to Italian gardens which is across the street but glad I went here. I had the soup and cod for my main course. Food was tasty and light. Good value

Hidden gem in old Irving park neighborhood. I was smitten at being greeted by a very senior matrede in a tux! Cozy, really delicious food, great wine, old school and reasonable. We enjoyed calamari - very tender, fresh, Caesar, farfalle mirabella and country rigatoni. Yum. They even do table side bananas foster! We’ll be back

Second time here and the food has been consistently very good both times. The menu has something for everyone and they make excellent cocktails. It’s a little pricey but the quality and solid food preparation is there. I had the best linguine with white clam sauce there last night - the best since my trip to Italy years ago. We’ll be back!

We will definitely go to Mirabella again. We came early because a member of our party had a flight to catch. The staff was friendly, accommodating and the food was very good. We really liked the way the dining area is decorated and want to return during the evening.

Must have been an off night because the food was just mediocre, not as great as other times. Do not eat the gelato coconut or watermelon, very poor tasting. Service great and ambience still nice!

Food was good and portions nice. However, I was disappinted that I was not allowed to substitute asparagus for another vegetable. This is permitted at most other restaurants so it was rather srprised. Thank you.

It was pretty empty when we got there. Food was pricey. The calamari wasn't crispy. Pizza bread was good. Mussels didn't taste fully cooked but sauce was good, wish it came with bread to dip in sauce. Service was great. We got charged out food and another tables order. They fixed it though. My mom loved her linguine in white sauce.

Wonderful evening with excellent food in an old fashioned and comfortable Italian restaurant. Our food was great and they made a couple of simple substitutions on dishes that made a world of difference for our party. Will definitely be returning to Mirabella Italian Cuisine.

Excellent service ( Eddie, the host, always makes you feel so welcomed the moment you walk in), our waiter is very courteous and knowledgeable . Beautiful soft lighting ambience, very romantic. Try the table side banana foster for dessert because they make it at table side for you. We'll return many more times.

So welcoming—every employee there was very friendly and kind! My daughter forgot her purse there. When she went back they had it for her—told her that when they found it they ran after us but we were gone. This was our first time there. It will now be one of our go-to places!

First visit and the food was better than expected. They have a big Italian menu with some Greek items as well. They brought a tray of steaks and chops around so you can see what you’re getting. I went with the delicious lamb chops and my partner had filet. The drinks were very good too. We will be back!

Our waiter Caesar was fantastic! My linguine with white clam sauce was outstanding and the risotto was also delicious! The food was quite good but the service was over the top! I would recommend highly and will be going back 4.75 stars!
