Mirabella Italian Cuisine
We love this place to meet suburban friends
Large menu yummy food excellent service but this time
We had to sit outside after we ate it was just too noisy to talk
You certainly will get an excellent meal but won't have to empty your pockets! The service and ambiance were wonderful as well.
Experienced great hospitality and service. The food choices were extensive and outstanding in quality. We felt welcomed and certainly will come back again.
Impeccable service as usual!
First the positive: the food and service are quite good, no complaints there. The noise level, however, is so high that conversation requires shouting. Also, since there is no sign in front it is easy to miss the first time you come. One more thing - Addison is a busy street and there is no place to stop in front if someone needs to be dropped off. Parking is a problem too. You can use the Home Depot lot across the street but not sure it’s legal.
We ate outside so ambiance was not a factor. Food was excellent and the services was also. The price is very reasonable for the quality.
We like mirabella as a meeting place for our city friends. I had a dining reward , which I forgot to mention to the server, so didn’t receive it. Is there any way i can get those points back?
Great steaks and minestrone soup.
Always the best!!!! Our favorite place to go always 😊
Went for dinner with my parents while they were in town. Great service and food was tasty and filling. This place is pretty quiet with great service, so a perfect option for a family dinner. Bananas foster dessert was fun (made table-side with lots of flaming booze) and delicious!
This is an excellent restaurant with absolutely delicious steak and seafood. I have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Casual, friendly, atmosphere. Set with white clothed tables and low lighting. You can have a conversation without raising your voice. Superb waitstaff. Off street parking directly across the street. Be sure to try the grilled calamari and shrimp appetizer. Then follow it up with grilled salmon, or the steak topped with crab meat.
It was my birthday and after dinner they presented me with a piece of cake and sang to me.
3 of us enjoyed a very hearty Italian meal in a lovely old world setting. White table clothes and napkins and a tuxedo wearing host added to the ambiance. Two of us had different chicken dishes and one had a pasta with shrimp dish. All dishes were plentiful and delicious . We had minestrone soup that was like homemade and enjoyed leftovers the next day. A lot of value for yummy food.
Food and service were terrific. The place could use a little updating
Good dinner. Nothing special. Can’t come in bad weather due to the parking
An old time neighbor favorite We had a great meal and service. We sat outside on the patio for a lovely evening. The menu is very traditional and tasty.
Need to alert past customers about new parking situation.
Great, friendly staff from maitre’d to waitress. Food was very good.
Great food. Good portions. Friendly service. We will come back soon.
Overall great. Ed always welcoming. Service excellent.
Great Food and great service
Wonderful food! Wonderful service! A hidden gem we will come back to again and again!
Outstanding food, truly pleasant staff, but the service was extremely slow. We've dine there two other times and never experienced this. The wait staff was friendly and hospitable; perhaps the kitchen was just overwhelmed. We'll certainly go back!
Waiter Manual never got the orders correct. My steak was just OK with what tasted like a bottle brown gravy
Great to meet friends
Yummy food nice sized portions
Excellent service and value
Happy repeat diner
This was are first time here . We certainly will return. Everything was very good. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.
What a shame! I had hoped this would be a great neighbourhood gem with great food and service, and was so sad when it didn't deliver.
My filet was ordered medium rare and came out close to blue rare. The waiter wanted to argue before taking it back, and five minutes later produced a medium well briquette. The steamed vegetables were so undercooked, I had to spit out a bark-textured carrot without embarrassing myself. My girlfriend's lasagna was rubbery and not appealing. The waiter was in a hurry with us in spite of multiple empty tables.
On the positive side, the decor was charming, and the maître d was polite. I might hope that on a slow weeknight, they could provide an experience with a little more care.
We had a delicious dinner. We were table of 4 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices reasonable. Look forward to returning.
Chef from Gene and Georgette’s and Eddie from Sabatino’s!
Exceptional food and service. Authentic Italian.A lot of food for your buck. Our new go to in the neighborhood.
Food is high quality, attentive service
I guess I would have to say that I was underwhelmed by this restaurant after having heard some good recommendations from others., in particular because Chicago has so many wonderful Italian restaurants to choose from.
It’s a large restaurant with no atmosphere. My husband had a pasta dish with seafood which was good. I had the whitefish which was served on a mound of mashed potatoes that was unappealing to look at and of poor quality. All entrees come with choice of soup or salad. We both had the salads which were certainly nothing special. As this is a very moderately priced restaurant, perhaps others like it because you get a lot for your money. Personally I prefer quality over quantity.
Wonderful meal. Delicious and generous. Meals include soup or salad. Amazing service. Warm atmosphere. We will be back. Loved it.
Great food. Great service. Great Chianti. Wonderful old school ambience. :D
The food was delicious, very authentic and the service was great - such nice staff
Everything was great!
Both of us had veal- one piccata ,one lemon. The portions were big and the veal was tender. Both sauces were very tasty.
My only negative comment is the salad that comes with the meal. It is very boring. There are 2 olives & I wedge of tomato. The lettuce isn't very good either.
Excellent choice. Very comfy environment, great staff and wonderful; food. MOre than a neighborhood, It’s a Chicago Gem. HInt, free parking across the street in the old KMart parking lot, there is a light to cross street and parking is designated to Mirabella. PS: love the white linen tablecloths and outdoor seating.
Delicious food! Prepared exactly like I requested!
Everyone in our party of 7 was very pleased with their dinner, appetizers, drinks and service. Several ordered the Veal Piccata (excellent), the Filet Florentine and White Fish were also very well received. The service is top notch.
