Server was excellent gave great recommendations for tapas style dishes
Food was excellent. Really enjoy the appetizers. The waiter that served us was very knowledgeable and pleasant and made for a lovely evening.
Nothing like Peruvian food, super smal plates and super expensive not worth.
A bartender at our hotel recommended Mira and it did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful. The service was spectacular, nice ambiance and the food was amazing! We had the tasting menu and we nervous in the beginning when the portions seemed small but by the end we were stuffed!! The presentation of the food was excellent. My husband and I had trouble ranking which dish was our favorite but we definitely loved the tuna tostada!
A beautiful restaurant with an amazing server, Alex, who was so thoughtful and took care of us. The food is delicious and the ambiance is great!
So it’s not often to say “best food and experience” but this was an amazing place. Our waiter Alex was fun and knowledgeable.
This place is a gem, the food is spectacular
Popped in for dessert to celebrate my birthday. Staff made sure I had a candle to blow out. It was sweet. Love the vibe here.
Outstanding food and service. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. It’s like a Michelin restaurant. But the food was very palatable
Mira is the fine dining taste of Peru that the city needs to try. Exceptional flavours packed into a unique dining experience. You got to eat here!
Unusual and delicious!
Nice atmosphere, but low quality food/wine. Too pricy for what they serve!
We had a great experience at Mira! I had never been before but had heard great things and wanted to try Peruvian food! The only reason I didn’t give this four stars was when we arrived we were seated at a large long communal table. When I booked there was nothing on open table saying this was an alternate seating arrangement so I would specify in your booking if you don’t want to be at the long high top. We asked the hostess if we could move to one of numerous open tables and she just replied all tables were accounted for without checking to trying. However we asked a manager and they quickly moved us over to a great table so we were super grateful (also our seats at that high top never did fill...). Our server Samantha was absolutely delightful, knowledgeable and warm, and helped us navigate the menu well, plus her suggestions were delicious! Cocktails and dessert were the high points for us, just outstanding. Meal plates tended on the small side, we had to order more. They would be difficult to share with more than 2-3 people, you’d have to order multiples of the same dish. The tuna tostada, the octopus and the corn side side were absolute perfection, must haves!!! The decor is neat as well in Mira, not overbearing but beautifully and unique. I would recommend Mira for a date night for sure!
Very well indeee !
AAAAAHMAZING!! Highly recommend for date night or any occasion. I love this place with all of my heart!
I would recommend it for drinks and appys but not for dinner
It's great. We travel frequently and are fortunate enough to be able to eat in establishments in this price range. Mira is an excellent find. Rarely is every plate excellent, and Mira did it. Bravo!
Birthday celebration for 2. Returning from last year's birthday. Still an amazing spot! Love tapas style dining. Mira Ceviche was the best! Delicious & refined.
Love this place. Staff is great. Food is always wonderful.
Our server was very helpful in making suggestions as to how much to order and what each dish contained. All the staff were friendly, never pushy. We liked the tortilla with tuna-heavenly, and the Mira ceviche was a delight. The short rib was delicious. The branzino was beautifully done, although the sweet potato that came with it was nothing special, considering how wonderful everything else was. It was our second time there and we will be back. It is expensive but the food was excellent.
The 70s-early 90's music seemed odd in comparison to the South American/Peruvian decor and menu.
The taste of everything was impeccable, but the price vs size of the main dishes mostly didn't seem to be fairly valued. For the left side of the menu, the prices seemed fair for the size of the dish.
Service was fantastic!
Amazing experience. Would definitely go back
Second time here. Food is phenomenal.
We visited Mira for our anniversary last night and it was an incredible choice. In addition to the quaint, romantic ambience and welcoming vibe, the food at Mira is some of the best in Toronto — hands down. We opted for the chef’s tasting with wine pairings, the chef was super accommodating for my request to have the dishes pescatarian. We practically licked the plate of every single dish, the flavours were outstanding. Some of our favourites included the Salmon Teriyaki, the Tiradito Hiramasa ceviche and the tostada. Our server was also super lovely and attentive. Thank you to the amazing chef and servers at Mira, you made our night even more special. We will be back very soon!
Food and service were perfect! Deserts are always the cap on the evening.
Ive been before a year prior and I remembered the food being better and the atmosphere being a little bit nicer. It just feels a little more worn down. The service was very attentive and good overall.
From the minute we arrived it was just the most fantastic experience. Our server Samantha went out of her way to insure we fully understood the menu.
We were all blown away by the quality and flavours of each of the dishes. I would highly recommend Mira to anyone looking for a high quality dinner in a beautiful setting. Thank you to all of your staff.
Love this restaurant!! This is our 5th time here, and we wanted to spend our 10th anniversary here. Thank you for a great evening
Excellent service and creativity with food. They were flexible to my food allergies and made it a memorable birthday!
Amazing food, the best in T.O !
Already recommended this place to a few people.
We’ve eaten at Mira many times but found the food was not up to par this time
I came here on a date with my fiancé and had a wonderful time. We ordered 5 dishes: mango ceviche, beef short rib, mushroom rice, Cornish game hen, and “Amor con Cocoa” for dessert. All 5 dishes were phenomenal!
The ceviche was sweet, zesty and even had a spicy kick to it. The beef short rib was very good, though stood out the least from the other dishes. The mushroom & truffle rice actually caught us both off guard with how good the combination of fried rice, hearty mushrooms, crunchy toppings and overall richness was throughout the dish. The Cornish game hen had a multitude of flavours and textures that also delighted the senses and rounded off our savoury dishes quite nicely.
Last but certainly not least, “Amor con Cocoa” was the dessert option we chose to share and boy were we ever satisfied with our choice. The essence of chocolate was showcased masterfully in a handful of different ways, ranging from rich & creamy to sweet and crunchy. And that’s coming from someone who “isn’t a big dessert person”, so I’d highly recommend our choice.
All-in-all we ate delicious food, conversed amid good music and were waited on attentively, but not overbearingly. They even called me minutes after we departed because I had forgotten my bag under our table and returned it to me promptly.
As a foodie and someone appreciative of good service, I implore you to give Mira a try if you haven’t already. It’s going to cost you more than a burrito at Chipotle, but you get what you pay for and a whole lot more.
10/10 will be coming here again.
Will definitely be back to try more items and reorder some of the other items we tried.
Our waiter was exceptional - sorry I didn’t catch his name! His recommendations met all our expectations and more!
I will say though, the entrance of Mira is a bit confusing/unwelcoming.
I found the experience over priced. The food was super tasty but expensive, the service staff seemed young and inexperienced and the restaurant smelled musty at the entrance.
Best service ever! Luis ? He was awesome and super engaging when speaking to the food. We had the Yucca fries, short rib dish and beet salad.
I must say value on the beet salad was quote poor. $16 for pea shoots, some pepitas and 1 beet quartered felt silly and compared to the pricing of everything else.
Cocktails were delicious!
Great space, great vibe, great music, very good food, very good service. The apps were more interesting than the mains, though everything was cooked and seasoned on point. Service was very good overall, but we waited with empty glasses on a few occasions and we had to wait an inordinately long time for bar drinks to actually arrive. Otherwise, the space is very cool as are the retro 80s/90s tunes that delivered us back to our youth.
It was awesome. Everything was delicious. Very accommodating with some food aversions. And dessert so yummy!!
Hostess has a bit of an attitude and server is friendly but forgot a couple of our dishes; the food is outstanding.
Was not expecting anything in particular. Had seen good reviews and decided to go for it. Peruvian? Yeah why not, for a change?
It seriously was one of my top restaurant experience.
Now, we went for the pricey degustation menu so we needed up with superb food for a pretty hefty check.
I assume the quality is equally good for the à la carte option and one may not have to go crazy on price to still have an enjoyable and memorable evening.
The setting is great, combination of bar seating, high chairs long central table or more intimate individual tables.
I guess everyone would find their fit.
Waiters super nice and effective.
Wow - when am I back in town to come back?!?!
Some of the best food we have had. We took the Mira experience option so that we know what we will order next time. Great drink selection that accompany their dishes nicely. Loved it.
Great atmosphere, food, and music
