Awesome place to eat before the Stars game!!
AA center had event that I have had tickets for 3 months. Celebrating 3 anniversaries. I drove from South Texas looking forward to the restaurant and concert with our adult kids. Our reservation was 5:45. Got seated in a dark corner with waiters running past us. Music on speaker was so loud, you couldn’t talk. We had to wait 30 min for a 1/4 glass of wine and 2 beers . Food took forever. We got out of there 7:30. My ravioli was warm and not hot. Loved our waiter, but he was overwhelmed. They weren’t prepared for this event. Couldn’t get refills on water and tea never got to our table. Think they are short staffed. Very sad. Was disappointed on this special occasion. And spent a lot of money.
Horrible experience. Reservations before a concert make 6 weeks in advance. Seated outside (not our preference) waited 45 minutes to get a drink and 1.5 hours for our meal. Salads were incorrect - this was just an awful experience. Ended up leaving 50 on the table and leaving because we couldn’t get our check after we had been told drinks and salads would be comped.
Great food! Service was a little weird because they were out of several menu items and then our waitress brought me a more expensive bottle of wine than I ordered and charged me the difference without asking me first. But we loved the ambience and our meal was great.
Great portions and the staff was helpful in making suggestions.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Great to stop by before the Maverick games for great drinks and food.
Great customer service . Manager ogson and Daniella are great
Always make our visit enjoyable
Food is great
Daniella always remembers our food order
Best restaurant in town
We were in Dallas for a wedding and found this gem not far from our hotel. We sat outside which was quiet save for street noise, but not too bad. The food was excellent and HOT (temperature) which can be issues. Our server was attentive yet not overbearing. Will make another trip there if back in the area.
Worst place I have been in Dallas. SERVICE SUCKED. I was here for 3 hours waiting for food and a ticket and they messed up absolutely everything. What a disappointment.
We love this restaurant and it's so close to the AAC but I guess due to the pandemic the service was a little bit slower because I don't think they have enough staff
Very good Italian restaurant overall. Had the Mediterranean salad and spaghetti & meatballs, oh and 2 glasses of wine. Service was exceptional especially since it was super busy due to a Harry Styles concert next door. They even had Harry playing as the music. I appreciated the serving sizes as it was just the right amount.
Awesome food and amazing service! Perfect place to go before the Harry Styles concert- we were so excited that they were playing his music while we ate dinner!
Lovely and delicious
Food was great!
My husband and I were going to attend the Guns and Roses concert at the AA center. We picked this restaurant for its reviews. Waiter proved us QR code for the menu. When we orders that’s when the waiter told us on we don’t have this and that from the menu. He told us they only serve a limited menu. This is something hostess and waiter should have told us before hand. Everything we would want on the menu they didn’t serve. Overall the food was not good, it taste like it was warmed up from the freezer. Food did not taste fresh nor had any flavor.
they have the best food...OMG...
Now the wait staff needs some brushing up because they are new, but hey...the food makes up for it 10 fold.
Good experience. Slightly loud. Good food great service. Tysm
Fantastic food and service
Appetizer, Primi and Secondi all came out at the same time! We weren’t in a rush to dine but the server said this is how they do it at the restaurant. Not a fan.
Delicious. Every bite.
The service was extremely slow. The pizza was watery, floppy and not edible.
Fantastic staff, food was delicious and the prices were super reasonable for a family! Will definitely go back!
My dad and I decided to try this place since it was right across the street from the AAC and we had a Mavs game to attend. A great choice to say the least!!! A nice modern take on traditional Italian "comfort" food.
Dad had the veal picatta in lemon butter sauce. Very tender with nice flavor, and the sauce was the perfect way to complement the dish. The asparagus spears were steamed to a wonderfully tender, but not mushy texture.
I had the Lamb Ragu' with pasta. Absolutely fantastic!! Tender bites of lamb in a very rich red sauce, and the pasta was perfectly al dente'. Portion sizes are just the right size; not too much for a take home container, but plenty to be satisfied.
Price points are reasonable not only for the type of menu, but also for the location. Service was impeccable and flawless. This place is a definite "return again soon", and should be a place to hit before a Mavs or Stars game. Outstanding!!
Fui con mi familia, comida muy rica y sencilla, servido con esmero, full recomendable!
Very disappointing. Drinks at the bar were cool. Great dude. Went outside though & that's where things went south quickly. We were seated at a table that had multiple instances of bird crap on it. I was stunned. Drinks took forever to come out. We had 2 gals waiting on us so I assume one was training but as a team, they were terrible. We finally had to ask them to wipe our table down even though the bird poo was prominent and all over the place. They finally brought food out but no setups. Just long waits on everything & they seemed to operate with no intuition whatsoever. Probably my last visit which is too bad because I go to Mavs/Stars game all the time and it's an easy stroll from my apartment downtown. Not trying to be mean but please do better. It won't be hard!
Excellent Italian food. Highly recommended for downtown Dallas.
Everything is always good, and half off wine on Wednesday is just what the doctor ordered.
PreCovid, we always passed this place up when going to games at the American Airlines Center and said we need to try it before a game sometime. Walking in, the ambiance was amazing. Service started out prompt and friendly. Unfortunately they were out of their house/tap wine so we had to settle for a more expensive one but that’s minor. The appetizers of calamari and focaccia bread came out fast and hot. Then a couple minutes later, I got my entree. My party of four waited a couple more minutes and there wasn’t anything else coming out. My boyfriend told me to start eating because we don’t want it to get cold. I was half way done with my dish and stopped eating because ‘where was the rest of our food?’ I tried to get our servers attention but it’s almost like she started to avoid us. 15 had passed since our one entree came out when we finally got a visit from our server. We explained we had a timing issue and asked where the rest of the food was. She looked ran to the line and talked to what we believe was the manager. We could see him shake his head, then speak to the person that brought me the one entree. She came over and apologized, saying that my dish was meant for someone else and that’s why our food didn’t come out together. Another couple minutes later and two more entrees came out. We waited again. Our server came back over another couple minutes later and I pointed out we were still missing an entree. The dish came one minute after that. By this time, the other half of my meal is ice cold. I thought for sure the manager was coming over to apologize and take care of my entree that started this but instead walked outside to take a call on his cell. When we got the check, nothing was done. We left as the manager was hanging up from his call and he opened the door for us. He didn’t say a word. No sorry or even a thanks and goodbye. Very disappointed in lack of response and responsibility for their mistakes.
Dodd and service was exceptional!!
Service was very poor. Which is a shame the food was delicious!
The food and location (near the AAC, where we were heading to a game) were good. They had the six of us in a corner, and we kept having to ask for drinks and orders. The appetizers were tasty. After multiple attempts to get our server to pay attention and get us drinks, we also had to wait 40 minutes for pizza to be delivered, which made us late for the start of the game. When I asked for a manager, he indicated the order had only been put in 10 minutes prior. I understand the difficulties of this pandemic and staffing, but there were multiple servers and a moderate number of guests. The server lied and said the pizza oven took too long to fire up. The manager comped the pizzas, but the rest of the bill was still $135 for the six of us - not worth the stress or terrible service.
Food and service were very good, as always. Music was a little too loud and got turned down. We recommend this a s a nice casual hang out.
The hostess was not very kind, we never had a real waiter, we were attended by the waiter’s assistan
Food is always spot on. Service is great.
Great food and great service!!!!
Although our server was training a new server, she was very attentive to us and addressed our needs very well.
Great food & Great service 🍴🍷
Went for a special occasion with my family. The food was really amazing. I’ve been there twice before this visit and it never stops surprising how good it is.
When your teen says “Mom, this is the worst service ever”, that pretty much sums it up. Underwhelming experience all around.
