Mio Nonno Trattoria - Victory Park
I would absolutely recommend this place. From the atmosphere to the service to the food. We had the Cioppino, Linguini with Clams, Sea Bass and the Cheesecake. All were fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try the pizza.
The food was exquisite! Might be the best ravioli I’ve ever put in my mouth! The owner stopped by and talked a little about how they prepare a few of the dishes we ordered. There was a live DJ. Made it a little loud for my taste, but we were still able to have a conversation over dinner. Wonderful experience!
We were there prior to a Mavs game and they were very efficient in service and quality!
We will go for every Mavs game! So convenient to walk across the street to the stadium.
I LOVE the one in Flower Mound and, although this one is a bit different overall, I still LOVED the food and staff! The ambiance is a bit brighter (not as cozy) as FloMo's but I would still go again!
My daughter and I went for the first time.
We had the best homemade lobster ravioli we have ever had! Specialty drinks were great too! We will definitely go back!
Overall great visit. Food, drinks, and dessert was all excellent. Felt a little rushed to flip the table, but to be expected at a hopping place like that. Will definitely return in the future.
The location, food and ambience are good, but service is rushed and communication between service staff and kitchen didn't work. Our main courses were served before we had finished our appetizers. Also service staff was eager to take empty plates before finishing meal.
We are fairly regular visitors at the original location in Allen. The food at this location is the same exceptionally high quality and the ambiance is great as well.
Food very tasty; service friendly but slow.
Booked this to celebrate a birthday for my friend. I love the look of this place. We were seated at a high top behind the bar which meant we got great service from both our waitress and the bartender. The owners walked us through the menu and our waitress recommended our appetizer the spiedini. We ordered the lasagne and modi mio which were very filling. Thank you for the great dinner experience!
Great new neighborhood spot!
Great food. Waitress was amazing. Good drinks. Will definitely be our new go to spot for Stars games!
Amazing experience all around! Some of the best Italian food you’ll find in TX!!!
Our server was awesome and the food was amazing. We had the polenta, the lasagna, and the gnocchi. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I had dined previously at Mio Nonno in Flower Mound and it was excellent, so I decided to give this new location a try. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The quality, presentation and taste of the food was top notch. The manager (I’m assuming) was very friendly and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. The waiter did an excellent job; however, he was a little awkward in his interactions which was a little off putting. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had a fantastic experience! The food was amazing and the service was great. Can’t wait to bring friends back!!!
Awesome new Italian restaurant in Victory Park across from the AAC. The food is delicious and unique and the service is outstanding. It's got a modern vibe. Plenty of outdoor seats also. There is a large bar area. Great overall feel and reasonable prices.
I had the risotto and arugula salad. It was a pleasant experience.
Went as pre-Stars dinner.
Nicole was very attentive & offered great suggestions without being overbearing.
Salmon tartar was very tasty, as was lobster ravioli, Russian & Nonni’s.
Good wine & choices.
We will come back!
The food was amazing and I would totally recommend it to anyone!
Great service and quality of food!
The food and atmosphere was amazing! We will be making this a regular spot we come to for dinner. Staff is extremely nice and made the experience that much better.
Best Italian food in Dallas!!
Enjoyed our meal before the stars game!
Excellent service and good food. Portions are the correct size - not too large or small. Had room for the great ricotta cheesecake.
Great food and excellent staff.
Not sure if this is a new place or what, but our servers were all new (basically one or 2 shifts under their belt), so they did not know the menu that well. Food was pretty good, but not spectacular. We had a variety of entrees and I would say that about all of them. They were very willing to specialize the dish if we requested it, so that was a positive. While I said "no" on recommending to a friend, it was really a "maybe". I think they need some more time under their belt.
Amazing food! Service a little slow but it is because of the hockey game and they are brand new and will sure to get it worked out when special occasions like that happen
Great food, great atmosphere, just took a while to get our initial drinks. When your first drinks come quickly, who cares about when your food comes - you have wine.
Wasn’t thrilled that we still had to wait 45 minutes for a table even with a reservation. VERY loud and $48 for a pasta, focaccia and a glass of wine seems extremely steep.
We had a 6:30 reservation, but they didn’t seat us until 7:10 due to tables already being full (it appears others were in the same situation). I couldn’t even get a drink at the bar. Then we couldn’t get a waiter. Once we got a waiter we ordered drinks and food immediately. By 7:50 ( almost 1.5 hours after our reservation) we didn’t have any food and we had to go. So, I can’t really rate the food. I understand this place caters to events at the AA center, but they shouldn’t take reservations if they don’t intend to honor them. They have events at AA all the time, so I have to believe the manager/owner knew this would happen.
Water glasses are very small and not kept full. Ordered a duet coke and received on of those tiny small old school bottles of diet coke. It was warm, no ice provided. Poor value.
Our reservation was for 6:00 , we were seated at 6:30. They have all these servers running around serving the same table. Very confusing. A server came up and asked “ Do you have a Server?”.
I requested Calamari as a starter but it was delivered with our Salad , Luke warm . I requested crushed red pepper and it was delivered after three different servers were asked. The main course was delivered
almost thrown down without asking if we would like anything else.. as a matter of fact I would have liked a Fork. That was finally fetched while my Lobster Ravioli went luke warm. So not impressed. FYI unless you like Crushed Black Pepper in your olive oil for dipping better speak up .. a good olive oil should stand alone and not require spices added unless requested.
