   Fantastic and wonderfully attentive service, as always, from Joce Liang and her team. But the star of the show will always be Chef Aniello Turco’s amazing food. Starting with a Boston lettuce and king crab salad, then a cuttlefish and asparagus tempura, my favorite foie gras terrine with cherry chutney and brioche bread, and finishing with a delightful slow cooked Wagyu tenderloin with foie gras emulsion and sliced truffles, each and every bite is truly spectacular.    Fabulous service as always, but the food is really thgood star of the show. Foie gras terrine with sliced apricot, slow cooked salmon, and the most amazing Wagyu tenderloin with red wine sauce and sliced truffles, absolutely to die for. Best food in Beijing by far!

   It’s just fab! It’s been my absolutely favorite in the past 5 years! For 2year I was back at least once EVERY WEEK!! Quality has been consistently high since opening!! It’s not an everyday dinning place but it sure will leave an impression on special occasions!

    We enjoyed everything about our first visit to Mio during our last week in Beijing. The service was quite friendly and solicitous - engaged without being unctuous. After taking our order, we were quickly given a lobster and lettuce-heart amuse-bouche as well as a rustic multigrain bread. One of our party of three ordered the "slow cooked" salmon which, owing to its buttery texture was probably sous-vide cooked. The other two ordered a set meal of creamy corn soup, an appetizer (duck ravioli on pumpkin puree topped with sage foam), and a roasted pork belly entree with pistachio and gently-pickled lettuce side vegetable. All were beautifully presented - both pleasing to the eye and the palette with nuanced flavors and subtle textures. Our waiter was careful to describe every element of each dish provided, but in a helpful and unobtrusive manner. Between the main course and dessert (one of which was complimentary from the staff) he bantered in a friendly manner. Settling the check took a few extra minutes, perhaps in part due to our paying part of the bill with a gift card and the fact that the gift card was denominated in US dollars rather than the menu's use of RMB. The meal was not cheap, but as we were commemorating an important milestone in our family's life (and the generous gift card) we went away feeling we were well-fed and well-served by Mio's staff - both in the kitchen and in the dining room.

    Best Western food in Beijing, as evidenced by Chef Aniello Turco's three straight TimeOut Chef of the Year awards. The only Western restaurant in Beijing that could move to another city such as New York, London or Paris and still receive rave reviews. Service is sublime as well, with Joce Liang and her team making sure that every detail is well taken care of. Bravo!

    Mio is fun. For dinner, the atmosphere can get a bit crazy as plenty of nouveau riche diners come in just to show off. All dishes are well executed and service is flawless. Dining here is not cheap, but Mio is a destination. Ask for Neils, he will take care of you!

    The MIO at Four Season Beijing is a quiet well designed place. The quality of the food is good, even if the taste is not special. You might have better dinners at Italian trattorias for much better prices. Food and drinks are absolutely overpriced for the quality you got. The service is what you expected from a Fours Seasons Restaurant.
