Minta Restaurant and Social Lounge
Yes and no. We had no problem with the food and service. When we got there at 630pm the hostess seated us in the bar area and not the main dining room. Our table was next to the table where the staff was folding napkins. We were confused why we got seated out there and we felt so segrated with the rest of the restaurant. We had a reservation and when we got there it wasn’t busy at all. We noticed that when every time a new guest came In they were seated right away in the main dining room. We were dressed appropriately and we spent $125.00 for two people so we can afford the restaurant but the table we Have was unsatisfactory....
Service here is AWFUL!!! It was awful when it was E&O and it's still awful. We've been here twice since its reopening (gave them the benefit of the doubt by going a second time), and zero improvement. Food is ok but servers rarely return to refill drinks, we had our apps come out at the same time as our meals, had the veggie wrap but it was lacking both the avocado and feta, so really just a house salad in a tortilla.
We will not give them another chance, which is disappointing since we really want to support local businesses.
Jeff was an amazing server! Food was next level delicious!!! Creative menu, fresh ingredients, and what a beautiful space!!!!! This is our new regular spot!
The food was fairly average. My eggs were over cooked (yes you can over cook eggs), my mother’s pasta was drenched In oil. Our waiter was pretty inattentive to our table, my little sister had to get up and walk near the kitchen to ask for syrup and ketchup. Very average experience probably won’t come here again.
Started with warm prosecco, followed by long waits for everything. Had to ask for more drinks and water. Server wouldn't make eye contact while continuing to walk around doing nothing. Appetizer sat in window for 10 minutes before delivery to our table. Forgot our child's broccoli. Steak temperature sticks were left on plates and still delivered to wrong people. Food was good but wait was ridiculous. Wanted to give them a break because of Mother's day but it wasn't even busy. No discount was offered. We will not return and likely this place will not make it. A restaurant cannot survive on good clam chowder.
2 ordered items were forgotten, but the service was otherwise fine. Food was good but not great. Feels like E&O all over again...
It's with a heavy heart that I leave such a low-star review. Service was a nightmare; it took over 20 minutes for someone to even take drink orders and then they got my entree wrong and it took another 20 minutes to get that out after my husband and son's entrees were served. My son's french fries came 10 minutes after his grilled cheese sandwich. The kale and brussels sprouts salad was not the same as it was at E+O, they subbed jalapenos for the Fresno chiles, which made it bitter. The noodles on the paparadelle were super thick and chewy. The short ribs were overcooked and chewy instead of tender. We'd hoped for a comparable dining experience to E+O, but the kitchen was was understaffed and service was beyond clumsy. We won't be returning.
service was very slow, and the food was a bit dry. it was also very loud due to a huge party in the room next door.
It was formerly known as E+O - partners added Eastern European flair to Asian-inspired menu. It was great before. If it ain’t broke why fix it?
Appreciated that they honored the E&O certificate and maintained many of the same food options.
The food was good but the service needs lots of work.
Good atmosphere 😀
