Mint Premium Foods
Excellent as always !!!!!!
One of the beat spots in Westchester for inventive fresh cuisine, a warm inviting atmosphere, a fabulous host and of course the best cheese market anywhere. The owner Hassan never fails to have his place deliver their A game whenever you visit. Don’t miss this foodie-friendly treat to the county dining scene.
great place, always very good food and excellent service
Slowest service I've experienced in a long time. At every stage of the meal we had to proactively go get a server: to order drinks, to order food, to order desert, to get the bill. The food was average. The ambiance is nice.
Awesome staff, great food. Will definitely be back
Food and service is always excellent
We've eaten here a number of times and it has never disappointed us. My wife's prosciutto wrapped dates appetizer was excellent. The braised lamb shank was delicious and very tender. Three of us had the pistachio cake, and highly recommend it.
We waited over an hour for our food with no information from the server. It was so bad that the ended up giving us our meal for free. That was the only consolation.
excellent as always Lamb chops were delicious . Cheese plate was incredible sweet potato jam was amazing . Thank you !!!!
Spent time with girlfriends enjoying some amazing food at Mint. We will book a reservation again soon, staff was great!
Ended up there to meet a friend but got to see the Halloween parade as well. Service was slow but I’m sure it was due to the occasion. Food was exceptional! Started with the Brie which was great for the season. However the standout was the ribeye! The sauce and even accompanying potatoes were such great compliments. Our server was excellent once we were waited on. Looking forward to coming back!
We were late due to traffic. I called and the host could not have been nicer. We arrived about 20 minutes late and were seated immediately. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Highly recommend especially if you have tickets to a show at The Music Hall.
The menu was interesting...there was something for everyone. The meats and cheeses were excellent, and we all enjoyed that as an appetizer. We each ordered a different entree, and each of us loved what we chose!
The service was wonderful...the staff couldn't have been any nicer or more attentive.
Great food (jambalaya) , great service, great ambiance! As usual!
Food, decor , service and ambiance was terrific. Will definitely go back!
Cute restaurant and an easy walk from the Tarrytown metro-north station. Food was very fresh and creative. Terrific menu. I did find things under seasoned which is certainly better than over-salted. Service was friendly, unpretentious and attentive.
Food was amazing. We had the squash burrata, stuffed artichokes, jambalaya and scallop special. Each dish was so delicious, and we were so full, but the taste made us finish. Waiters were informative and attentive.
GREAT FOOD--TABLES CLOSE TOGETHER AND NOISE LEVEL HIGH. LIKE THE AMBIENCE.
Great Food and service
One of my favorite places in Westchester! Fabulous comfort food, cool ambiance, great find!
The cheeses and charcuterie are extraordinary!
We were very excited to go to Mint as we had heard good things. The waiter was not at all friendly or helpful, he made the guests feel like we were bothering him by being there. They were out of my first choice and I ended up just ordering what one of my friends ordered, the jambalaya. First we saw our meals sitting on the counter for quite a while before they were delivered. The jambalaya did have a generous amount of fish on it but getting to that fish was ridiculous. I'm used to having to shuck my own mussels and clams but not since Beef Steak Charlies have I had to peal my own shrimp. Also, would it have killed them to crack the king crab legs before they served them. By the time I had all the fish out the meal was completely cold. My wife had the scallops on risotto and thought it was fairly tasteless. My friend's wife had the braised ribs and was the only one of four of us who was satisfied with the meal It was a lot of money to spend on such a mediocre meal.
This is a truly special place everyone should visit at least once. From the lovely cheese samples we got while waiting for our table to the delicious food we ate, our entire dinner was spectacular. The staff was warm and just the right amount of attentive. Even though it was a busy Saturday night we didn’t get rushed like in most restaurants which showed that the staff truly respects the quality of a good, uninterrupted meal. A+++++++
Had a 715 reservation, wasn't seated until almost 740. It took another 15 minutes before a waiter came and took our drink order. Although dinner was tasty, it came out warm, not hot. Will try other neighborhood places before going back.
Even on a very busy Saturday night Mint delivered a great performance - shrimp and octopus appetizer, peppered tuna and lamb chops. When the lamb chops came out medium rare to medium instead of the requested rare no questions asked when they were returned. The rare chops we then enjoyed were outstanding. The kicker - we were given a partial comp on the check for the redo of the lamb chops even though none had been requested. Talk about a place that knows how to take good care of the customer.
Will be back.
Our second time going to Mint. Food was excellent, the service not so much...
We always have a great meal at Mint. The house sangria was a new treat for us-very tasty. All of our dishes were excellent but the Moroccan shrimp dish would have been better if the shrimp had been shelled.
We’ve been going to Mint since they were across the street from the current location many years ago. It is a very unique place, it is excellent!
Food was good but for the value not up to par.
The entrees were a bit disappointing. The Moroccan chicken was bland. The truffle ravioli should have had a cream sauce rather than a tomato sauce.
The food was great and unique. We loved it!
A real find! Food was fresh and delicious, we were not rushed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
There is an interesting array of items for sale, also on display, and we both cannot wait to go back.
Everything was great and delicious, except the wait time for our dinner
Went for a brunch on the Labor Day long weekend Saturday. Food was delicious (Truffle Ham Eggs Benedict), the local Sangria was also tasty. Had a table outside, the traffic was low so it was very pleasant.
Delicious and inventive food. Attentive service. Cool decor. Would definitely return.
Every time I dine at mint I am reminded how excellent the meals are . My wife had the fish special I had the lamb shank we were both impressed with the amazing quality and flavor . Hassan is a gracious host (thanks for the cheese) . When you visit spend a few minutes looking around the shop in the front it’s a blast .
Each dish is specially prepared and the owner and his wife are so welcoming. And the aesthetics of the decor are exquisite in a funky fun way. We have been back a few times this month and plan to have many more meals there!
Went out with another couple from the neighborhood. My wife and I have been to Mint several times before over the years, and this last time was also a special experience. We enjoyed some tried and true menu options like the bacon covered, goat cheese stuffed dates, and it was nice to see some seasonal specials too which were done very well. Happy to see that this place has stayed strong and authentic.
Love the sort of refined European cafe vibe of Mint and the terrific menu. We've been here often enough to know that we'll get a pleasant, walking-pace meal, but in this case service drifted beyond "elusive" toward "borderline negligent." There weren't many occupied tables this night, and still never asked how meal was, had to chase them around the restaurant for the check after waiting 15 minutes, etc. Just know that odds are decent you'll be forgotten for stretches here.
