Have been here a number of times and the food is consistently excellent with a varied menu and reasonably priced.
Only 2 minutes drive off the strip with parking right outside.
Authentic Indian restaurant.
Don't order take out they leave half the food on the counter for 20 mins getting cold waiting for the rest
Excellent food. Fantastic options. Truly delicious.
Valentine's Day buffet was excellent and not at an elevated price! First time at this particular Indian restaurant, but we will be back. All food choices were fresh and hot--nice choices for salad bar. Just the right amount of 'heat' .
A friend brought me here a few years ago and it was my first introduction to Indian food. This restaurant made it my favorite cuisine! Everything on the menu is fantastic and even if you have favorites, you will always want to try and new dish as they have a great variety of options. The service is very friendly and they are more than accommodating to preparing your order to your tastes. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Las Vegas has so many restaurants it's hard to pick one that's "so good time after time" but the Mint does it. When your seeking great Indian food and a restaurant that delivers that again and again you won't be disappointed.
Been looking for a good Indian restaurant since I moved to Vegas three years ago. Found it at last!
Saag paneer had great texture & loved the butter chicken. We finally found great Indian food in Las Vegas!
Overall, quite good. I'll go back. The naan could be more generous.
Fantastic food and great service - went with my parents for Christmas meal - All three of us loved each and every dish - portions are nice size, time to prepare was good, place is clean and simple(could use a little more authentic decorations) and the restaurant was full of Indian families enjoying their native foods. A must if you are in Vegas, about 1/2 mile off the strip.
One downside - we got there when they were cleaning up from a party or afternoon rush - mopping the floors with very strong smelling bleach cleaner when the restaurant was full of guests is not a good idea-just use the broom and do the deep clean off-hours. Getting past that short term concern u have to repeat the food and service was absolutely fantastic
This was probably the best Indian buffet we've had. The food was cooked perfectly, the tandoori chicken was moist, and everything had just enough heat to make it interesting. Fresh naan was brought to the table and the service was attentive. And for those of you looking for something to do after lunch, it's across from the Atomic Museum. :-)
My boyfriend and I love Indian food, and I made a reservation at Mint Indian Bistro based on the recommendations I read on Open Table. We had a great meal, with plenty of spice and flavorful dishes. The food was well-prepared, fresh, and it came without a long wait. The staff was very attentive, and the overall mood of the restaurant was relaxed and pleasant. I appreciated that there was no loud music and that we could easily have a conversation.
We felt that we received a very good meal and that it was very reasonably priced. It was roughly a 10-minute taxi ride from our hotel (Bellagio). You will need a car, as it would be a long walk from the Strip.
The sbuffet is very rich, serves well to vegetarian and non alike.
Great food. Always perfect. Servers well versed and very coopertive. Best Indian food in Las Vegas. We return frequently.
We were speaking to an Indian gentleman who works in the Wynn Hotel and asked him to recommend a good Indian restaurant in Vegas. He pointed us to Mint, so we gave it a go.
It is not on the strip, but a $20 taxi ride got us there and from the outside it didn't look spectacular, well compared to the rest of Vegas.
We went inside and were greated quickly and seated immediately with menus.
We had a few questions about some of the drinks we wanted to try and some of the food and the wait staff were attentive and immediately available.
Soon after we had placed our order and took some of the recommendations from the staff, the restaurant suddenly got busier and every table was filled. I did expect the service to deminish, but to my delight it didn't at all. The empty plates were taken away quickly and we were not sat around waiting for any food or drinks.
The food was delicious and I highly recommend getting one of the set menus as I got to try foods I would never have ordered alone. The flavours were complex and layered and just tasted superb. My tastebuds were dancing and even the hot spicy curries tasted great as it was not overpowering but flavoursome. We ended with Kheer (Cardomom spiced rice pudding) which was refreshing and well textured. You could tell everything had been made from scratch and using high quality ingredients. I am salivating now just typing this and remembering how much we enjoyed the evening.
If you like Indian food, this is a MUST GO if you visit or are local to the area.
Although a little more oriented towards southern India, it still had a great spread of different tastes and was very well done!
In town for the weekend and were looking far a reasonably priced restaurant. The food was well prepared and the staff was knowledgeable about the cuisine. We enjoyed eating some of our old favorites like the Samosas.
What a treasure. Off the strip. Amazing Indian food with variety and flavor snot often found in America. Fantastic beer list. Lassi bar! Love this place, Mint Indian Bistro is a worthy destination for foodies visiting Las Vegas.
Great fusion of Northern and Southern Indian dishes - try the Okra appetizer! And for the adventurous - the Inferno dishes.
My second time there and it was very good. Did the tasting menu and it was great. They were very busy but the staff was very accommodating. They need to update their cocktail and bar menu (torn and ripped pages) and need to order items because they were out of a lot of beers and spirits.
Loved our dinner and service, absolutely wonderful. Samosas to start--lamb--were perfect, right level of spice. Chicken tikka masala was wonderful, a little different to what I'm used to and a great change. Spouse had chicken, perfectly cooked. Shared carrot pudding, first time ever and it was amazing. Service couldn't have been better, from the warm welcome to the warm good night, really stellar. Small and boring room, nothing wrong with it but 3 stars, nothing spectacular either. A great meal with great service. I'm making out next reservation right now.
I've been coming here for years, and they always impress with taste and food quality. Consistently great food and service is why I keep coming back.
On the downside, they don't honor reservations and it's a small place, so be prepared to wait if it's busy.
Classic Indian meals served well with spices as requested. Amazing considering it's location. Well worth a visit.
I'm not a fan of buffets. Apparently Mint *only* does buffet for lunch. I figured if anyone could pull it off, it would be Mint. They did put out a nice variety of dishes, but much more least common denominator preparations of them. This is still a nice find for a quick, quality lunch. It's is just a big comedown from what they do for dinner (see review of dinner 28 June 2014).
India's rich and evolving culinary tradition is on full display at Mint. Mint does not shy away from spices, as evidenced by their Inferno line. We got a lamb vindaloo at spice level 10 which approached the heat of my own cooking, which few restaurants will do. A house specialty curry still managed to be pretty and even subtle at a spice level of 9- not every chef can pull that off! With vegan and gluten-free dishes, there is truly something for everyone here.
Coming from Chicago, which has quite a few very good Indian restaurants, it has been a major disappointment to go to one place after another to find bland or very overpriced Indian food. Mint Bistro, however, is one of perhaps two restaurants that are on par the food back in Chicago. The flavor is excellent, always consistent and for those who are vegetarian or vegan, it is safe to say that Mint "get's it". The prices are very good and most of the time, I am able to take a little food home for lunch the next day. The only downside is that like all the Indian restaurants here, the samosa's are just okay. Far, better than most, but missing...something to make them pop. Lack of curry inside? Not sure. Still, we go here just about once a week.
I've been to Mint quite a few times and the food is consistently very good. The extensive menu offers a ton of options for those with dietary restrictions and the waiters are pretty good at making recommendations. So far it's my favorite indian restaurant that I've been to. Just wish it was in a nicer location.
Ave. Will not go back The food was so-so. It was high price for the small amount of dishes offered. The staff was nice but seldom came by the table to refresh the drinks.
The place is very non-descript in a little strip mall. Do NOT be deceived by appearances. This is the best Indian food I have had bar none. In NYC, LA and my home in San Diego I have not found Indian food of this caliber. I am not going to go into details or this would take an hour to finish. Suffice it to say GO, ENJOY, there may be a bit of a wait but it is well worth it. Reasonable prices, good sized portions and top quality ingredients, and amazing preparation make for an outstanding meal.
I dine here often and it's a hot EVERYTIME great food and great service and authentic Indian in Las Vegas, not to be missed if you enjoy real Indian food
First time at this restaurant and I can't wait to go back. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent and except for the parking its a place I'd return with company.
During lunch they offer a buffet and have about 8 different entrees ranging from vegetarian to those with meat, gluten free options and a variety of sauces and accompaniments. This is a great way to sample different dishes without having to order the entire restaurant. But, Indian food is not for those with a low tolerance for spicy (hot) food. The fresh naan is wonderful and great for dipping in these flavorful dishes because most entrees do contain a good amount of heat (probably 3-4 On a Thai 1-5 scale). Worth checking out and they open at 11AM which reservations aren't really recommended till after 12PM.
This is in a weird location but very worth while to find. Food was excellent! Service good and the choices unbelievable! Would go back.
I loved the place. Very authentic Indian cuisine.
I am not a big fan of very spicy things. I am glad they can cook all their dishes in a more mild level.
This little restaurant has great food and a great wait staff. I would recommend that you make reservations as it fills up quickly.
I have been to EVERY Indian restaurant in Las Vegas and if your looking for the best Indian food in town look no further, it's here
Food was fresh and delicious the service was superb the cocktails and beer selection fantastic. I would recommend mint to anyone coming to Las Vegas!
Excellent food in an unexpected location. We went here because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor and it was great. Food is outstanding and very fairly priced. The atmosphere and decor are nothing great and the location is in a strip mall. But that makes it even more interesting. Again, the food was absolutely superb and service was very nice.
We were in Vegas for a convention at one of the big hotels and wanted to get out of the hectic environment and try a local Indian restaurant. After reading reviews on Urban Spoon and other sites (NOT the Zagat app, which is useless) we settled on Mint Indian. Service was excellent; great international beer list; extensive menu and the food was excellent!
