Limited menu so definitely review before going. This is not a Brazilian steakhouse. My party knew this and we did not have any issues with the food we ordered. The restaurant space is small and quaint yet not the most personable staff. We never received the bread which we asked for and the servers did not check in on us unless we made an effort to stop them. It seems the guaranteed gratuity from the large table nearby received all their attention. The lack of service discouraged my party from staying and ordering drinks. We ate our food got the check as soon as we could to prevent any further delay from the "busy" servers and left.
This is an ethnic restaurant. It is a tasty bite of Brazil
Busy lunch spot with reasonable prices, can go every week for a fancy delicious lunch. For fabulous dinner to impress a date or loved one for under $100 bill, make a reservation at Mina's. Try the guava glazed baby back pork ribs!
Best Brazillian restaurant in San Francisco, great menu and food, love the seafood!
Needed a place for dinner close to SF Jazz for a group of us attending the Chris Botti concert.
Excellent choice. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service was GREAT! Wonderful way to start off the evening.
Love this restaurant. Bring friends here often before we head to SF Jazz.
The food was fantastic. I told the server we had a show to attend, and he made sure our food was served promptly, the dessert came quickly, and the check was attended to before the time I needed to leave.
I've been to this restaurant a few times, and I was always satisfied with the quality of the food and the service.
Great food. I highly recommend the picanha and caipirinha. This isn't Fogo de Chao where they walk around with meat skewers, so don't expect that. Instead expect a nice plated dish, which is pretty delicious. They also have a full bar, which my friends and I enjoyed.
Our overall experience was excellent. We started with the tasting platter which was a great selection from the appetizer menu. The basil aioli was amazing. For dinner I had the salmon with vegetables, coconut rice and passion fruit sauce. Colorful and well balanced. My boyfriend had the Tri tip steak done medium. Perfectly cooked and paired with collard greens and Brazilian beans. I will definitely go back!
Minas has a large selection of drinks included excellent hand crafted cocktails. Their food is excellent.
