From July 4 to 20, enjoy specially priced three-course tasting menus at Minami Toronto by Head Chef Nao Akutagawa and MICHELIN-awarded Head Pastry Chef Aiko Uchigoshi. The Summerlicious Lunch Menu is $48 and features dishes such as the Minami Sushi Selection, Nanban Chicken Salad, or Udon Noodles with a Wagyu add-on, followed by desserts like our Premium Matcha Ice Cream Sundae or Layered Carrot Cake. Summerlicious Dinner is $65 and offers a refreshing Madai (Red Snapper) Crudo, your choice of Saikyo-miso Sablefish, or Beef Tenderloin Steak, and a Mango Pudding or Matcha Ice Cream Sundae. Not a “sushi” restaurant. Rice has been sitting and seaweed was very chewy. Small plates were ok, but rolls and sushi dishes were subpar. Lots of rice and fish was either small portions or tasted extremely fishy.

This Japanese cuisine is just really good. One of my all time favourite spots in Toronto.

We particularly liked the oshi sushi, and our waiter was great. The traditional sushi rolls were also very good, but we weren't big fans of the chicken nanban. All in all, I'd definitely recommend going to Minami if only going to the oshi sushi.

Visited Minami for a business lunch and was seated in a beautiful, spacious booth with a great view of the restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food exceeded expectations—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. A special thank you to Victoria for her warm hospitality and attention to detail, which truly elevated the experience. Minami is an excellent choice for hosting clients. Looking forward to returning soon!

Never going back. The sushi was absolutely awful. It didn’t taste fresh at all – some of it even smelled off, like old fish. I couldn’t eat anything. I left most of my food untouched because it was honestly inedible. What made it worse was the rude and dismissive service. I politely mentioned that the food didn’t taste right, and the staff just shrugged and walked away. No apology, no care, nothing. Extremely unprofessional. For the price you pay here, the experience should be amazing not disgusting food and terrible service. This place has clearly gone downhill. I will never come back, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. Complete waste of money.
