    1 out of the 3 meals we ordered was good. My wife couldn't even eat he's it was so bad but to make matters worse our waitress was so bad she didn't even ask her if anything was wrong with the food instead she just brought our food took my empty cup because it took forever to get our food and didn't come back. I ate my entire meal with no drink. By the time she came back I was over mad it was so long all we could do was laugh at how bad the service and food was at this place. I could go to McDonald's before Mim's...

    Venue is by the ocean, nice breeze, outside, and great food. This is a classic spot that everyone who visits St. Thomas should go to during their stay. Staff was great. The yellow curry lobster is a must by someone in your group. Crab dip appetizer was also excellent. Go here. Eat. Enjoy!

    What a wonderful night at Mins, the view was spectacular and everyone treated us like royalty! We had both the lobster with curry, a broiled lobster and a pasted with shrimp and crab dish. Wow, dreaming of coming back again just for those dishes and some more painkillers.

    We were a bit disappointed in our Father's Day Mims experience. Staff was wonderful. The outdoor space was nice and very casual. The food was just ok. 2 in our party had a shrimp pasta which they said was nothing special. 1 ate 1/2 the meal. 1 in our party had a steak which he said was over cooked and had too many pepper corns. I had a vegetarian plate of garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed cabbage and sweet plantains. The food was good but the portions were rather small - which always amazes me when restaurants create a veggie plate for vegetarians because there is nothing else on the menu for them to eat but provide portions the same size as those given to meat eaters. I left hungry. I hear they are known for their lobster so maybe we would have done better if we ordered that. As I said the staff were wonderful.

    The positives: My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Mim’s, and our server was warm and friendly. We had a table with a great view and absolutely loved our curry lobster dinners. The negatives: Mim’s ambience is lacking and looks run down. We didn’t appreciate the fact that our meals cost $50 over the listed price range on the menu. It felt like a bait and switch. The cocktails were just okay. While we enjoyed our dinner, we would not return.
