I chose Mother’s Day brunch here for our family. Understandably, they were busy and seemed to be understaffed. The server put in her best effort, but overall the experience was underwhelming. A few guests at our table sat for a majority of their meal without any refills. It was difficult to wave anyone over, as our server was occupied with other parties. The air conditioning unit also seemed to be malfunctioning, making for a very uncomfortable dining experience on a special day.

Where to begin. This place needs to be on bar rescue. The lady wearing the people shirt, hostess, wanted everyone to know she was busy. We had a reservation but still had to wait… no problem, I get that. We went to the bar to get a drink. Sat there for 30 min. Not one person acknowledged us and didn’t get a drink. Dirty dishes sat on the bar, the back of the bar was a mess. Bottles not put away, dirty dishes sitting on the back of the bar. Our service was ok. Never came back to see if we wanted more drinks. I had ordered a side is potatoes. Server forgot to bring them out. I was done eating by the time they finally came out. It was a complete disaster.

Mother’s Day at Mimi’s Cafe was not a complete success. My mother’s meal was cold when it finally came out which was unfortunate. We won’t be back for a while

This was by far our worst experience ever. I had a feeling when we walked in and there were not many people in the establishment that something was wrong. We were seated right away but then forgotten about. The service was not attentive. The food to say the least was absolutely terrible, the mash potatoes were like out of a box, my husband ordered a ribeye but was served something else that was a terrible cut of meat. Of which they gave gladly gave us 20 percent off for giving us the wrong item. My salmon was barely cooked, the veggies were not fresh. In all my years I have never met a bread pudding I didn't like but this was a chunk of non coked bread covered in a surgery syrup. It was all around aweful. My water smelled like wet dog. This Mimis location is a No go!!

WE will not be returning. We think everything was pre cooked , held for a few days and then just heated in a Microwave oven. Crystal was very busy but did a very good job with service.
