   Terrible Mother’s Day experience here. Reservations were not honored in a timely fashion and we waited over 2 hours to have our food. Food orders were incorrect or altogether missing. Asked to speak to the manager on several occasions and he never showed up.

   Horrible and overbooked restaurant. Waited for 1.5 hours to sit and eat. Everyone working was upset and had a sour attitude. Such a horrible Mother’s Day experience.

   I used to love Mimi’s years ago. But in the last few years, every experience is increasingly worse. This morning was the last straw. We had reservations for mother’s day brunch, but when we arrived the line to check in was 10 people deep and the waiting room was packed full of people waiting to be seated. The host was almost never there. Walk ins were given the same preference as reservations. When a host did appear, people waiting were yelling at them because their names were crossed off even though they had been waiting awhile. It was complete chaos, pandemonium. We ended up at Norm’s down the street because it was at least calm and organized.

   We anticipated a wait for reservations on Easter Sunday for a party of 17. The manger greeted us upon check-in and we waited no more than 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress and manager made sure we were being serviced properly. This Mimi’s Cafe has always been the better with customer service than Downey or Lakewood. Thank you for making our Easter family time great.

   Not the best service. Asked for refill on drinks several times and never got. Food was cold when served but they did warm it. Won't go back for dinner. Lunches there are better.

   Great experience. 8 for New Years Eve dinner. Loved the Chefs 3 course meal. Staff was great. Never rushed us even though we visited after closing time.

   Although understaffed, the host and server did their best to get us seated and served. 7 adults and a 1 year for our party and everything came out on time with no mistakes. The table was ready for us when we arrived.

   The experience was good, however, they were not aware of my reservation. Thankfully we had planned it for a time that was not super busy and were able to get in relatively fast.

   We made reservations for Mother's Day at Mimi's and as usual they were wonderful! The food is consistently good, and our server was a gem! The manager is always on top of things and always makes sure that we have a great dining experience. We would recommend Mimi's Whittwood in Whittier to anyone :)

    Our experience at Mimi’s for Mother’s Day brunch was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Despite having made a reservation for 10:00, we were kept waiting until nearly 10:20 before being seated. Once seated, the service continued to disappoint. Our waitress took both drink and food orders simultaneously, but thereafter seemed to disappear for an extended period. Despite multiple requests, coffee refills were infrequent, with some members of our party going without for over 45 minutes. Similarly, one member who ordered tea was never offered more hot water for their pot. The most significant letdown, however, was the food itself. The wait from ordering to being served exceeded 90 minutes, which, while understandable on a busy holiday, resulted in most dishes arriving at room temperature or cold. One guest's steak dinner was served entirely cold, though fortunately, they were not charged for this. Overall, the experience put a damper on what should have been a special Mother’s Day meal.
