Mimi Blue Meatballs and More - Good Food! - Keystone Crossings Fashion Mall
Mimi Blue Meatballs is a tribute to our mother “Mimi Blue” Kosene. Mimi was a Lady, endowed with manners, taste, and an easy social grace. She loved good food whether dining out or cooking for a hard-working husband and three sons. Every home-cooked meal had to satisfy the whole family, as well as any friends who often stopped by. Cooking was the way she brought us together, kept us healthy, and showed us Love.
At Mimi Blue, we make the kind of food Mimi cooked for us at home, but we serve it in the type of comfortable urban setting that Mimi so much enjoyed. Like Mimi herself, our meatball dishes are classics. Each recipe is rooted in culinary tradition, but refined for the modern palette.
Have your Meatballs any way you choose. Mix meats, sauces and sides
We had a great Fathers Day brunch at Mimi’s. Fast, good service, great food and a great small space. Very happy with the overall experience.
We have always enjoyed quality food at Mimi’s. It is one kid our “go to” restaurants.
Amazing food. This time i tried the fried chicken ball with marinara sauce over linguini. It was fantastic. Service was great. Everything was wonderful!
I went here for mother’s days. I waited over 10 minutes just to get acknowledged by the host. Then another 5 minutes or so for to be seated. Yes - I had reservations. The host never smiled, or even acknowledged the wait. Rest of the staff that passed by avoided eye contact.
This location is attached to a very busy mall and natural not a lot of parking.
The food was good , but the experience was not that great. Will not come back here again
We have enjoyed the restaurant and food in the past, today was not the best. Arriving a bit early, my wife and grandson were not greeted, but had to find someone to ask about our reservation. A waiter pointed to the manager. When explaining that we were early, but the waiter had pointed out our table, the manager said we could sit down if we wanted to, but barely looked up. The Mother’s Day brunch was until 2:00 PM, our reservation was for 1:30. By the time we ordered, about 1:40, nearly everything we ordered (especially for our five grandchildren) was no longer available! We were very disappointed. Thank goodness our waitress was sympathetic, understanding and was able to provide us with a discount.
The food we ended up with was delicious, but I’m very disappointed with our “special” Mother’s Day service.
Birthday dinner with close friends.
They are a bit pricey; but I feel it was worth it. Our group of 8 people ate there for Easter Sunday and they were really nice to us. Our server was great too. I would go there again. They even gave us coupons for next visit.
Food and atmosphere were fabulous but serving staff left a lot to be desired. Server was unhelpful and unfriendly and considering I was hosting a pre-arranges party of 12 I found that to be unacceptable. He seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but helping us. At the end he set the bill where one of my guests was able to see it instead of handing it to me even though I made it clear I would be covering the meal. Lovely place but I’d go out of my way to have him wait on us if we visit again. Not a great feeling after spending $525 for dinner and drinks.
Great service & food!
Food is great and our party of 10 had a ball with trying different things and marking our orders on the menu. I can't wait to come again.
We have eaten at another location and have now dined at the one in Crossings Fashion Mall and it is delicious!! There is something for everyone from vegan, gluten free to meat-eaters. Their meatballs are the BEST!! The service was exceptional. It is a definite go to place.
We had a large group and it didn't faze the wait staff. The food was awesome and all of our needs were met beyond expectation. Highly recommended.
Everything was amazing. The server did not bombard us with asking us how things were but came at just the right moments.
Meatballs were good but overpriced for what you get.
Server was inattentive and lacked Energy. Food was fabulous.
Food very good. Didn't see server as often as we liked. Quite noisy - we were seated in the corner and still had trouble hearing each other. Restaurant a bit on the small side. Restrooms out in the food court. The food is good enough to bring us back, but we may try the Mass Ave location to compare.
We brought friends from out of town & it was a great choice.
It was fun filling out our own orders
Very interesting sauces available & great salads as well
Loved the decor
We will definitely go again soon.
I believe it is my new favorite
The appetizer, a goat cheese dip, was amazing; however, the meatballs were bland. This is the second time we have tried Mimi Blue. Service was phenomenal.
Celebramos el cumple de mi amiga.
First time had a good time with our friends. Waitress was very good and friendly. Food was good.
Great wine & food. Expensive though
Love Mi Mi Blue. Service was a little slow due to the fact it was Valentines day on our last visit, but our server was friendly and helpful. I suggest lowering the lighting along the banquet and closing the blinds earlier in the day.
A) No one wants to look at parked cars.
B) it takes away from the bluesy, chic atmosphere you have done a great job creating. I actually sent someone there to eat and they didn't stay because it was still light out and they said they didn't like looking at the parking lot.
Love the idea of doing meatballs different ways, love the art and lighting. Love that it's dark--I stay away from restaurants that a doctor could operate in. ;)
Yes, we would recommend Mimi Blue. The meatballs were delicious! I wasn't a fan of the linguini, but really liked the potato fries and fried brussel sprouts. Yum!
Our actual server was wonderful, and he made up for the absolutely rude host who asked if we had a reservation, (we did), told us to await his checking us in, and then crossing to a different entrance, seating two other people, and then completely ignoring us. A second host finally addressed us 5 minutes later. Our server was aware of our displeasure, and was extremely attentive and helpful! The food was very good.
Great time at Mimi Blue Meatballs the Fashion Mall. Meatballs and salad were awesome. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Soooo good! This time the meatballs were so juicy and yummy! We usually go to the Mass Ave location but Keystone was so good, we will return!
Christians service was appalling. Food was good, but again the terrible service (when he would come to the table as he seemed to have better things to do) is what ruined the restaurant for us. Highly disappointed as we were truly looking forward to trying Mimi’s.
Food is good but way overpriced. $30 for 4 meatballs and cauliflower
If you decide to go, definitely request "Mittens" to be your server. She was fantastic. Perfect balance of knowledge and pleasantries without interrupting the meal. Food, as always, was delicious!
Comfort Food At Its Best! We've been to Mimi Blue's in Carmel and now at the Fashion Mall. Both offer terrific food at reasonable prices. We just had our third visit to the Fashion Mall location. The decor is warm and comfortable. Our server was friendly, efficient, attentive, knew the menu well and was able to adjust our choices of meatballs and sauces from the set menu. I mixed the fried chicken meatballs with linguini and Bolognese sauce, rather than mac and cheese. As usual, the dishes came quickly and were consistently delicious. The wine choices were very good. We've used this restaurant as our after movie eatery and haven't regretted our choice.
Not a great atmosphere for a date night, but good for a drop in. Best location is in Carmel.
The restaurant has always been pretty good when it comes to food. I’ve been to all 3 locations. However, this location’s service was not good. The waiter was not attentive. Seem to have a bit of an attitude.
The Food and Service were Excellent!! Loved being able to mix and match tasting options. It made for a great date-night experience.
Took our kids (17 and 19) before seeing a movie. Excellent food - loved the Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad. The new chicken meatball with aioli was amazing! Service was good - recommend and would go again!
The food was just ok. We did book a table on open table and when we got their they did not have our reservation. They also brought out our appetizer after we had already finished our meal.
Neither one of us thought meatballs would be as filling as they were. Crab cake balls appetizer were absolutely delicious. Meatballs were divine. Didn't care for the polenta side. There were other sides I wanted to try but my husband and I don't have the same taste and the sides were fit for at least 2 people so we only ordered the one. Tables at this location are incredibly close together so you have no choice but to be friendly to the table next to you, which we were and met a very nice couple -- given a couple more drinks and more time I'm sure we would have exchanged numbers.
Food was amazing and the prices were reasonable. We will be back for sure!
Went for a brunch on New Year’s Eve with my daughter and husbands family. The food was nice as always but I will say our server was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make my daughters time there delightful. She found her regular printer paper to color on when she didn’t have to and also had a balloon blown up for her, because my 3 year old seen the balloons on the ceiling for the holiday and wanted one too. These are simple things but to a toddler- and her mom- they meant so much.
Hey just a date night!
Brunch has a limited menu but it was delicious. We had the Eggs Gerry. We shared it with fruit and it. Was just the right size.
