Our service was very very slow. Our waiter forgot to put in our order for our apps so the entire meal ended up poorly timed. I would stick with ordering beer or wine. My gin and tonic had flat tonic. The food was acceptable -- frankly the sides were the best as were the cheese curds. Skip the meal and just get drinks and apps.
We did get seated in the requested booth so a hearing impaired diner could hear. The food was basic bar food. Our server was very nice and attentive.
Great place for burgers or salads. The service was great too. We’d go back!

Very nice lunch at the Milwaukee Ale House. Food was good. Service was not top notch, but pleasant (cleared plates a little early, brought check late, etc). Overall, enjoyable.
Food is AWESOME, service JUST as good, friendly atmosphere, perfect location in the Third Ward.....HIGHLY recommend!

Located by the river, you'll get a nice view from the patio on a Summer's day. We still had a good view from the dining window. Pub food style that's well made. Price a bit higher than most as the location is the premium you are paying for. The burgers are thick and juicy with crispy fries. Of course there's a great beer selection, as it's a pub/bar/brewery in one after all.

Good food and our server was very attentive and thoughtful as she took care of us.
When you ask for onion on your burger you should not be given the end cuts of the onion that should be thrown out.
Service was horrible! If I could, I’d give zero stars. Three of of us had the brats and they came burnt. They served no brown mustard even though they served brats and normally that type of mustard accompanies that type of dish. They were out of drinks on the drink menu, and it was only 1:30 pm. Prices were reasonable, but of course we were coming from Chicago, so Milwaukee prices seemed very affordable. Generally, the restaurant has lots of potential and has a great location but, their servers and cooks need better training.
We arrived for a 7pm reservation for 7 people and were immediately seated. Service and ambiance was good. Food was hit and miss. Some people really enjoyed their meals while others did not. Some of the meals were very warm temperature wise and others were cold and had definitely been sitting and soggy.
All things considered our experience was ok.

We ate outside. Fun watching the river traffic. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our drinks.
We dined outside on a very hot day but the was a breeze off the river and it was lovely al fresco!
The view was great, but the food was so-so when there are a ton of great choices close by and it took to long for me to check out after the meal.
Nice lunch overlooking the river
The service is very slow and the food is nothing but average. They were not even busy as I went on a Tuesday night. My food came out cold and did the others at my table. It just overall was not the best experience and is not worth the money.
Restaurant itself, food, location were really good. Only negative was that our waiter was MIA between when we ordered the food and when we got the check. I had to go to the front desk to ask him to come give us the check. I'm assuming it was a one-off issue, and definitely isn't something that would prevent me from going to the restaurant in the future.
Great environment for a Friday night out. The staff was friendly and the food was fantastic!!
