Fabulous Dover Sole and equally fabulous Lamb. An excellent wine list with very good Greek whites. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. Loud, but that's a problem all restaurants have nowadays.
Too expensive and noisy . Menu not rich and not greek
Always love eating at Milos. The most amazing food and atmosphere with the freshest ingredients, a wide range of options, but the ability to go up and pick out your own dinner from the fish bar is amazing.
I absolutely love Milos. The food was outstanding from the grilled octopus to the lobster pasta! Wait staff was attentive and they do not rush you. I want to go back again and again!
I have been to Milos in NY, Las Vegas and Miami. The NY location is not the best. Service was only ok. The waiters are not well trained. The regular plates are good, as usual. The fish...not what I expected. Relatively little variety this time. I like Milos. I just wish it was slightly more consistent
Very expensive seafood with an overly aggressive and intrusive server. He would not leave us in peace until he forced our table over to the fish “bar” to select fish to be served. he repeatedly rejected my choices and insisted that we select a fish that HE thought was best. The result was that we ended up spending several hundred dollars for a flavorless, over flaky and soft fish that I did not enjoy at all. I have eaten here for for lunch several times and enjoyed the experience. This time was a very expensive exception.
Loved everything about this restaurant I
Late night tasting menu was a treat. Good value too for what you get.
Went for dinner prior to concert at Radio City. We arrived early and went to the bar for a drink. The experience at the bar was so extraordinary we decided to stay and have our meal at the bar. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the food was fresh and outstanding. Only complaint was too many small bones in the Dorado to watch out for with each bite. I would rate the experience a 10 and plan to go back again soon.
Before the concert st Radio City
The noise level is the biggest deterrent to dining at Milos. At the beginning of the lunch hour it was tolerable but by 1:15pm-1:30pm it was such a din as to be extremely annoying. One could barely hear the person next to her speak and forget about conversing with a friend or guest across the table. This unwise desire of NYC restaurants to have "energetic" noise levels is counter-intuitive and only ruins reputations and repeat business. A modest investment in acoustic design and noise-dampening panels would pay large dividends. The food and service is excellent but the noise causes indigestion. I would be a regular at Milos, otherwise. My recommendation is to try Milos for the food but be warned of the noise if you do not plan to eat alone.
Could not be better. The freshest seafood. Prix-fixe lunch pre-matinee. Superb waiter Yanni. Tables nicely spaced apart. Grand airy space.
The fish is non-pareil when compared to other greek places in the city. The quality of fish is comparable to expensive and good sushi places. In fact, their sashimi style plate is my favorite.
Everything here was exceptional. We felt valued as guests and were treated to deliciously prepared, fresh seafood.
Always fantastic. Great food, great service and Yani is the best waiter!! Never disappoints!!
Friends traveling to NYC.
Fantastic fresh fish. The Milos Special - a tower of fried zucchini and eggplant- is exceptional. Great sommalier too!
Milos has been a classic fish icon for many years. Service is gracious and helpful. My guest had never been there before and was very impressed. We shared perfectly cooked (real) Dover Sole with silken Fava bean puree. Heaven! We chose to eat in the bar area, which was less hectic than the main rooms.
I always take home the outstanding yogurt with honey when I am too full to eat it there.
Can't wait to go back!
Food was extremely fresh-salad, fish, veggies, and the service was excellent.
Hands down my favorite Greek Mediterranean restaurant in Manhattan. Food and drinks and service are always A+, will definitely be back
Great food, excellent service thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Quality of food and service more than compensated for the cost.
Outstanding food and fantastic service!
The food was fairly average. Although the service was very good the noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to hear what the server was saying and certainly conversation with my fellow guest was almost impossible. Altogether a very ordinary experience as an extra ordinary price. How can they possibly charge $18 for a glass of very ordinary Greek champagne?
Perfect for a business lunch!
Was here for lunch, the lunch menu is fantastic with lots of great, healthy options. 3 courses for $32, great value for the food, and service!
Very loud, but the grilled octopus and grilled catch of the day more than made up for it! Food is so fresh, service is so attentive. They even brought out a little birthday cake! It was such a pleasant break in the work day.
Incredible place - food amazing- fun scene - expensive but well worth it - get the fried Zucchini tower
We were in the City to see a show and therefore did the pre-theater price fix menu Food was very good and at $49 per person it was definitely an excellent value
We had a very nice lunch with great service and interesting Greek wines. The lunch pre fixe was a nice value.
Amazingly fresh fish prepared flawlessly and served beautifully. Noise level is high at lunch, but it didn’t lessen the great dining experience.
I am a huge fan of quality fish cooked simply. However, the prices charged by Milos are eye-watering. We paid c$270 for a modest turbot for three without any side dishes! For that price, I can get the same fish, cooked identically, at Chez Hortense in up-market Cap Ferret, plus the starters, side-dishes and deserts for five ... all very emperor's new clothes
Fantastic experience! Food was good and service was super.
we always enjoy eating by Milos ,but good from time to time to change the lunch menu as for years u always serve same menu
The service was wonderful and the food was awesome. We were there for a bday lunch. Had such a wonderful time.
Great food and ambiance. I really enjoy the lunch courses for 32.00. Great value. I always take my guests there and they are always impressed. Thank you.
Excellent food. Incredible value. Restaurant of this quality-in NYC- usually charge 40% more for luncheon.
Extremely attentive service...every course was excellent...interior is stunningly beautiful.
Although the food was good, the restaurant was a bit pricey for pasta. Not what I expected having been at the new Milos at Hudson yards
