We accept reservations on a limited basis via OpenTable, but hold the majority of the restaurant for walk-in parties. Because we hold tables for walk-ins, we recommend coming in and if there is a wait, we will seat you as quickly as possible. Generally speaking, everything moves pretty quickly in here and of course the bar areas are first come, first serve.
We do not reserve outdoor tables because we can never be sure of the weather. If you make a reservation, you can request to be seated outside on the patio when a table becomes available.
Very kid friendly, quick service, nice staff.
Extremely noisy. Good for outdoor dining. Inadequate serving staff
Millie's is a wonderful adult and family friendly venue located in Spring Valley. Nantucket chic without the cost of a plane ticket on Cape Air.
Tasteless lobster salad, worst service....never had such a slow server, took ages to get water refilled, no one clears table. Only reason to eat there is to be outdoors and you can bring a dog.
Five of us went to dinner to celebrate my birthday. We were seated right away and enjoyed the food. The service was very good. We talked for hours and ended up practically closing the place down. It’s a nice restaurant for family or friends to go to for an enjoyable meal.
With the caveat that it is wayyyyy too loud. Food is good. Venue is pleasant. But you can’t hear yourself think.
Great drinks and service! The food was terrific with a wonderful variety as well. It was a beautiful evening to sit outside
Love Millie’s for the the consistently delicious food and he fun atmosphere. Great place for a date - the noise level is quiet enough to hear each other across the table and loud enough not to feel concern about others having to hear our conversation.
How has Millie's been open for over a year without me knowing? The place is awesome. Sit outside, take in the day while drinking spicy Bloody Mary's and eating the best Crab Dip in the area. Steak and Eggs were perfectly cooked and the Benedict looked awesome. The place is crowded with kids and dogs but that is what made it fun, at least for us. Great people watching on Mass Ave.
It was a packed bar scene on Saturday evening. Not surprising that it was noisy. Food and service were good. Was it a mistake or was it intentional that we were charged for an item that we did not order/receive?
We were there during the UVA final four game, so the bar section was a little rowdy, but service was still excellent
The food was great but the service was terrible.
Love the food but it is SO loud! Really hard to have a conversation without yelling across the table.
In order to rush diners out, Millie's now says that 'It's summer and if you want dessert, please go outside to get ice cream." The problem is that it was 40 degrees and rainy the night I was there, and yet they've decided against serving dessert inside. Kind of odd. Our food came out SO fast that we hadn't even gotten our drinks. Millie's: SLOWWWWW down and stop encouraging your waitrons to rush people out of the restaurant. Super frustrating.
A nice neighborhood find.
We went to Millie's for brunch with friends from out of town. The service was good but the food did not match my expectations. Crab eggs benedict with hollandaise was not what I expected. The sauce was not hollandaise and the crab was hard to find.
Excellent experience! We will definitely be back! Seafood was so fresh!
Wayyyy too loud
Delicious seafood from clam chowder and poke to grilled shrimp salad and seared tuna. Service exceptional. Pleasant neighborhood vibe.
Superb service and food and great venue. Couldn't fault it for a business lunch.
What a great place. It is my new favorite restaurant!
AMAZING FOOD! Nice portions, amazing taste, but the service could have been better! I highly recommended this place
Love this place. In the warmer weather the patio is the best place to be, but the inside has a super ambiance. The food is very good and the service has always been fast and friendly. Perfect for brunch and lunch.
It is a lively and lovely atmosphere. I believe the food is very average compared to the price. The service was fine. You are definitely paying for atmosphere. Not that the food was bad, just expensive.
Loved my meal and the wait staff was fantastic! One person did not think the food she was served was up to their standard and they removed it from the bill- which was very fair.
I got an omelette because it had the most eggs (3) of any item on the brunch menu. They must have been quail eggs, because I paid $16 for what felt like an appetizer. Food was good and all that, just overpriced.
Lobster roll and clam chowder were delicious! Chowder was very rich and full of clams. The lobster roll includes lettuce so the bun doesn’t get soggy, nice touch. Service was pleasant and very attentive.
Sarah is amazing!!!
Love Millie’s. Great food and fun neighborhood vibe.
Great for outdoor dining when weather is good. Great Tacos
Delicious artichoke and crab dip! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was bright and pleasant. We have a really nice dinner here and would definitely go back if we lived in the area.
Food was great and our server was wonderful. We had a weekday lunch reservation and when we got there still had to wait almost 30 minutes and it seemed as the hostess forgot we were waiting/who we were.
My chicken pot pie was not as hot as it should have been. Otherwise ok.
Great food and great service... a little loud but worth the noise! Will come back for sure!!!
Our friends who live part year in Nantucket joined us. They believe this Millie's is tops. They did notice it was noisy. Thanks and best wishes in developing g as our neighborhood favorite.
To its credit, Millie's is usually full at lunchtime but this makes it extremely noisy. I meet there with a colleague and we're happy with the lunch, but will probably try another place just because of the noise.
Four stars only because I found a small piece of lobster shell in my salad...otherwise all was outstanding, highly recommend.
Impeccable service. Food was decent. Great atmosphere with children. Perfect place to go for a casual dinner with family
Good food, good service, and nice atmosphere. It’s a great place to hangout and lots of fun. A bit pricey for what you get. You’re basically getting same as you would at a Founding Farmers restaurant, but, for whatever reason, more expensive at Millie’s. Still, would recommend to friends.
I generally love Millie’s but my lunch on Wednesday was a huge disappointment. I ordered the salad with chicken paillard, which was not edible - chewy, tough and greasy. It was further disappointing that the server did not even inquire when I left 75% on my plate
