Fantastic wine, food, and service!
Beautiful place, great service, great food. Easy to love
One of the best meals and experiences I have ever had!
The food was excellent and only surpassed by the excellent service.
Very formal yet charming. Owner, Bertrand takes a very hands on approach .
Lovely space !
Superb service by Marco and exquisite dishes
Great atmosphere, comfortable, great service, perfect for good conversation...
A wonderful experience all around. Marco was wonderfully welcome and warm. Everyone really was, from the bus boys to the waiters and staff. The food was a pleasant surprise of culinary balance to perfection. Not over the top and not too little. Just enough for you to truly appreciate good taste. Definitely will be coming back to enjoy that and the Piano Man bonus round!
The food was fantastic as well as the ambience, but the service was phenomenal and top notch! I have already strongly recommended it to others for a truly special dining experience where the staff treats you like a VIP.
Exceeded all my expectations for service and food and beverage quality.
Mille Fleurs always lives up to its upscale reputation. From meal preparation to presentation, it is superb. Waitstaff is attentive without being obsequious. Attention to the details of fine dining top notch. Excellent choice for any occasion
As always, the service there is fantastic. They always remember us and the food is fantastic. Great place for a romantic dinner.
Exquisite menu and beautiful presentations.
Love the beautiful white table cloths and Elegant serving dishes. Thank you!
The outdoor dining patio patio was lovely. We were seated promptly, but waited a long while before we were greeted by a server. I ordered oysters and a there was a lively black sea worm crawling back and forth inside the cup of my oyster… it was the most revolting restaurant oyster experience I have ever had. The rest of the meal was forgettable—Nothing great, hamachi was totally under seasoned. It was just impossible to get over the sea worm I almost ate, it will be a long time before I can eat an oyster again. Service was lukewarm, disappointing for the class of restaurant. And the oysters appeared on our bill.
Fantastic food and beautiful outdoor seating.
Last here 25 years ago while lived here in SD.
Patio charming, food “A”, apps very creative & yummy, entrees good, desserts “A.” Had GREAT creative custom cold drinks 1st in bar as our patio table not ready at resy time.
GM Host knows his stuff, even most of the best in SF.
Definite rec if want to spend $100 per person for very gourmet & creative good food. Will return.
The service and food were amazing. We loved everything we ordered and my husband said it was the best old fashion he has ever had! The atmosphere made for a nice romantic dinner, we will definitely be back!
Exceptional in all regards.
Always reliable. Waiter and chef were extremely helpful navigating an allium allergy. We’ve loved this place for more than twenty years.
Fantastic dining experience!
Can't wait to return!
Best restaurant in San Diego
Great service and food. Wonderful that restaurant has maintained high standards despite COVID-19.
A wonderful place to have dinner with friends for special occasions or a date. The food was fantastic and a service was excellent. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful setting for a special birthday celebration for my friend. Food quality is very good but offers heavier entrees along with just a few lighter options. Dinners are always excellent but perhaps the menu could include more light lunch options.
Very nice as always, but the website states there is piano music on Thursday, which there was not. We made our reservation looking forward to the music, and truly missed it. We requested the Fountain room so we would be close.
Nevertheless, food, service, etc were as excellent as ever.
Exceptional in every way. In particular the maitre d brings a level of service and class rarely found even in the best of restaurants
Wonderful venue out on the patio. Always great service and comfortable elegance. The jambalaya shellfish and chicken thighs were overcooked and dry. The servings had minimal amounts of the chicken and sausage. The steak was perfectly cooked and sauced. The duck entree was enjoyed. The wine selections are all that could be asked for.
There was nothing outstanding about the restaurant The service was the best part. Service was excellent The food was nothing special. The escargot was very bland. Worse escargot we’ve ever had. The rest of the food ,including dessert , was at best mediocre. We will not go back.
I would also suggest that people should not be made to feel foolish if they show up a few minutes early. We drove from north San Diego and were 12 minutes early. When we walked up the Host ( Maitre D) seemed very put out by us being early. We were told to go to the bar but the way in which he handled it we felt like we were being told to go sit in the corner !! It made the beginning of what was to be a special night for us get off to a awkward start. The waiter made up for it by being very personable.
The food was excellent but what was such a special treat for a first time visitor was the beautiful courtyard setting- just magical with twinkling lights. Very romantic and perfect for an anniversary dinner or any special occasion.
This is a special place!!
Drinks were very good but food was not flavorful.
Halibut was bland and the dish was lacking sauce to bring all the ingredients together. Duck was not crispy, but if I discount that, the sauce was a tad too sweet, atleast for me.
Creme brulee had lovely flavors but was runny at the bottom. Runny brulee? Lemon tart was good but not worth the cost.
We won't be going here, sadly, for a long long time.
The ambiance is amazing ! It’s truly a grea restaurant all around
Food was terrible. Waiter was great and we didn’t want to cause any stir but the food was trash and I wish American Express had a way to charge back for being such a catastrophic fumble. Bread and butter were the only things worth it.
Mille Fleurs is a very special place with excellent food, and service.
I highly recommend sitting on the patio in the evening. Two of us ordered the Wienershnitzel and if was fantastic.
I would also recommend the Gnocchi with Duck Confit and the
Steak Tartare on the side.
The food and service is excellent. Quality and preparation is excellent. The staff is professional but not personal. I felt like I was dinning in a library. Maybe I just experienced on a quiet night. Check it out for yourself, the chef know what he is doing!
