Too expensive for the quality and taste of the food. Definitely not Michelin material...

Perfect evening!
What a delightful experience we had on our first date at a nice restaurant after over a year of being together through Covid. The service was excellent, from our server to the sommelier. The ambiance was fun with live music in the background that didn’t overpower our conversation, and the food was delicious and well worth the price. I had the swordfish which was perfectly cooked, and the creamy saffron sauce it was served with provided a wonderful flavor. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the creme brûlée and glass of champagne as well!
We frequently dine at Mille Fleurs and enjoy spectacular fresh, varied meals made with great finesse and a high level of sophistication. We have a family member with severe food allergies and they always take excellent care of us. Marco and the staff treat us like family. And our new server, Glenn, was outstanding!
For a very special night this is the place!
We love Mille Fleurs! The food is delicious! The wine list is well curated and has moderate pricing, so you can get great wines and not get gouged. Service is impeccable.
Highly recommended!
Courtyard seating was excellent. Staff exceptional. Food delicious. Will be back soon.
Beautiful Brunch on the patio!
Beautiful outside patio and a delicious meal. We had a wonderful evening
Classic! Very elegant, but low profile ambience. The patio is lovely, the food amazing. Staff very charming
The outdoor setting was beautiful under the large tree. Food was delicious and service was exceptional!
It was great to see Bertrand and Marco again. The patio was charming and the food was great.
Wonderful food, delightful outdoor dining area, and Douglas’ service was exceptional - attentive but not intrusive.
The appetizers (Wagu Beef Tartar and Escargots) were quite tasty but not exceptional.
Our 3 main courses (John Dory, Veal Schnitzel, Lobster Risotto) were all very good except for Risotto being too salty.
Of the 2 desserts we shared, only the Creme Brûlée was disappointing (runny custard and without a good crispy sugar layer on top). The desserts definitely didn’t live up to the high standards of the previous pastry chef.!
Overall, it still a great dining experience with impeccable service.
It's been 25 years since I dined at Mille Fleurs! We had a lovely Sunday Brunch on the front patio. Started with the King Salmon Crostini which tasted so smooth like butter. Main course was the Proscuitto Croque Madame with Mornay Sauce...excellent. Service and ambiance exceptional. We can assure you that we'll be back for Dinner very soon. What a delightful dining experience.
I had Sid as a host and he was nice and I had great food at Mille Fleurs would go back again
Great service, delicious food amazing atmosphere....
Always a great evening out. Fantastic, professional service. Great meal.
Fantastic! One of those rare times when everything from the food to ambiance is excellent. We had Prosecco and escargot to start with followed by the lobster salad. Everything was awesome, would definitely return.
Great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mille Fleurs is a magical place made even more so on this night with the return of its renowned pianist Randy. Our meal was spectacular starting with the caviar started. Simply magnificent. Great food expertly served is the tradition of this fine restaurant and that tradition continues to grow stronger and stronger.
The most amazing French food in San Diego
The new chef has updated the menu. It's a wonderful romantic place for dinner. I usually never order risotto but this spring vegetable one was perfect. The burnt orange old fashioned is one of my favorites. Very solid and I'm glad they refreshed the menu.
Sunday Brunch on the outdoor patio. The service was excellent. There were plenty of heaters and umbrellas so it was very comfortable even on a cold day in early March. Everyone enjoyed their very different meal choices from American breakfast to Avo toast to Halibut and the vege Risoto was outstanding.
Every time I sit in the courtyard at Mille Fleurs I kick myself for not coming more often. A really cool setting. Excellent service. A very relaxed place. Now that we are getting into a post-Covidian planet, we will be back more often.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very romantic and the service was top notch. Would definitely recommend the escargot! The sauces on the entrees were delicious, however, the sides and other appetizers were surprisingly flavorless.
Consistently wonderful. So glad they are back open for dinner. Eating on the patio was lovely.
King Salmon prepared to perfection. Great Martini and the Peter Michael Chardonnay paired beautifully. Great service, great food, great ambiance. It combines for an experience one comes to expect at this classic North County legend.
This is by far my favorite restaurant. It is expensive but the experience there is wonderful. The food and service are excellent. The outdoor patio is very pleasant.
Fabulous outdoor patio with just the right ambience to accompany a delightful meal. Loved the lobster salad.
The food is consistently spectacular. The patio is gorgeous, the wine list impeccable, and the service unparalleled.
The food and the service is outstanding! The courtyard is elegant and romantic.
It has been on my list forever. The service was excellent. I understand why it is a San Diego classic.
Always reliable! Terrific food, attentive and professional service, and wonderful ambiance. Definitely our most favorite restaurant in the entire SD area.
Outdoor patio is charming!
Great food and drinks. Followed COVID protocol. Staff were very attentive.
I am looking forward to my next experience at Mille Fluers!
Waited outside for 10 minutes, was not let into bar area, but others were?? Was not told on-line that main menu was not going to be available on 2-14-21. Corking fee $40.00 really.
The food is truly exceptional, the highest quality and excellently seasoned in every dish.
With the Covid shut downs, the service has suffered, not in delays but in delivery. Plates put on the table without regard to a person's order, not even confirming the accuracy. Appetizer arriving after the first course. Wait staff appeared inexperienced and indifferent. Waiter's used to be in command of the servidce. Inside seating is spaced for social distance but our advice is to reject seating near the bar in both directions. If you don't care about foul language and loud conversations several tables away you might relent to seating near the barroom. Obviously, the restaurant atmosphere has also suffered significantly with the pandemic. Will this restaurant recover service and atmosphere? Or will it lose its chefs?
Fantastic food! Authentic veal wiener schnitzel was delicious. And the gratin potatoes were the best I have ever had! Our waiter Douglas made for a wonderful dinner! We will be back!
Always fabulous ... expensive but worth it.~ Lunch $390 for 3 people
