Got there and was told they don't accept bookings over Internet from open table. So unable to comment on this inn.

If you want undercooked frozen potatoes and the same with parsnips.. and slushy veggies go there… absolutely disgusting!

Kitchen was closed, said they dont receive the online bookings. No choice of food. Had chips with snotty eggs. Couldnt have pudding as the girls shift was finishing in 10 minutes. Absolute joke. What place takes online bookings, sends you a reminder then says they dont receive them. Will not be going back

77th birthday went wrong, 3 choices of meals for me and didn't have the food to make it. The fourth was able to be made, not sure why they didn't have to food in to make the meals. When the food did arrive for the three of us, it was OK but the burgers were lacking a seasoning and the brioche bun was a bit too burnt. The other two meals we OK. The staff were brilliant. The poor blonde girl didn't have the face to come over and tell us the meals I'd chosen were not available for the third time. Bless her she was so polite. She sent another girl over instead. We went there just as it was local and I'd seen reviews rating the place. It's a shame really, years ago it was a really nice pub, mind you it was 40 yrs ago I was last in there, but I don't think I would go back. Who knows?.

Booked this place online as we were holidaying in the area but when we turned up they had no booking for us to be met with oh the online booking doesn't work! Just as well as this isn't a place most people would want to eat. Very noisy, lots of locals and not for the discerning diner. Find somewhere else
