Milk the Cow Licensed Fromagerie is a cosy, European-inspired cheese and wine bar located in St Kilda and Carlton, Melbourne. We have over 180 different cheeses from all around the world in our 6-metre long cheese cabinet, expertly curated and cared for by our team of cheesemongers, who are always happy to talk cheese with you. Our signature cheese flights see an ever-rotating pairing of Cheese & Wine, Cheese & Beer, Cheese & Gin, Cheese & Whisky, and more. Hot cheese dishes from our kitchen include cheese fondue, baked camembert, Croque Monsieur, flaming saganaki, hot pots and more.

Unfortunately some items on the menu weren’t available, some items never came and one was inedible, made all our eyes water. Unfortunately the cheese had turned so we couldn’t persevere but the staff were helpful and nice about it. Such a shame, it’s one of my fave places in St Kilda. Hopefully it was a one-off.

Hardly anyone in there at peak time on a Saturday evening. Cheese was delicious. Service was very average. Would recommend Carlton over the St Kilda one.

Great as a snack or pre or after show nibbles. Cheese dishes delicious including burnt cheese cake. Would like to see some fresh additions like salad or vege. I enjoyed wine and liqueurs also

The atmosphere was amazing, staff were incredible knowledgable and the food was delicious. Very good value for what was received too
