Milk & Honey Waldorf delights with its "excellent service and delicious entrees," creating a vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ. While some dishes lacked consistency, standout items include "honey old bay wings" and "shrimp and grits." My eldest daughter invited me to lunch here on Friday, 6/13/25, and we absolutely loved it! The staff were very cordial and welcoming; the ambiance of the restaurant is very lovely with touches of elegance, and our food and drinks were delicious and of high quality! Although the space is quite small, we didn’t feel crammed. I am surprised, being that Milk and Honey is such a popular restaurant, that the spot chosen for this location in Waldorf, MD, was not larger. Perhaps they will be able to expand into the retail spaces on either side or both sides in the future. Highly recommend visiting here, and I/we will definitely be back soon!

Milk and honey needs to go back to the drawing board when it comes to the food they provide for the prices that accompany it. My mother ordered the fried catfish sandwich that came out with cold catfish and very lukewarm undercooked fries. I ordered the salmon BLT that came out with a raw piece of bacon. Mind you it was only one piece of bacon on the BLT and very undercooked fries. I doubt that I would ever visit this establishment again. But the server was very accommodating.

The food was good! Biscuits a little hard on the bottom. My Chicken and waffles was great! When I ordered the Bishop, they bought me a half wine glass of juice. They said because I didn’t want ice, this is all that’s given. I sent it back. If someone is paying for a drink, whether ice or not, they should be entitled to a full glass of juice.

The ambience of this facility was outstanding, the music was great, just waaaay too loud for this small space. The food was not HOT at all, although my power bowl was good, but it would have been great if it had been HOT.

Esthetically pleasing (decor flowed throughout, well staffed, good vibes). A DJ came in around 11am, playing music at a respectful level (you could still have a conversation). The food came out cold the first time (2 out of 3 plates), so we returned it. They came out warm the second time, but neither plate appeared hot (which was a sign). Our mom was almost done eating, so we kept the food. In retrospect, I should have sent mine back. I only ate about 1/2 of the food and wasted my money. I was disappointed but realized they hadn't been open at this location long. I still tipped our waitress well because the food wasn't her fault. I’m unsure if they are on my “don’t have to go there again " list.

Order fish sandwich but received overcooked chicken sandwich. When received correct order the fish sandwich was delicious. Calamari was extremely chewy. We didn’t reorder.

No liquor license but the menu displays different. Limited food options. Fried green tomato salad was a huge miss. Honey old bay wings were perfect! The pancakes were delicious as well as the salmon and grits and shrimp and grits. The chicken sandwich blah as well as the salmon BLT.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Milk and Honey, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with the service and food quality. From the moment I arrived, the service was subpar. The staff seemed inattentive and unresponsive to our needs, leaving us waiting far too long for everything, from our drinks to our food. When we finally received our meals, I was disappointed to find that the quality did not meet my expectations. The food was bland they served raw onions and peppers with cooked breakfast potatoes, also my bacon was extremely greasy and fruit lacked the freshness one would hope for in a restaurant of this caliber. What made matters worse was my interaction with the manager when I brought these issues to his attention. Instead of addressing my concerns and attempting to find a resolution, he simply made excuses for the service and food quality. It felt like my feedback was dismissed rather than valued, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard. Given this experience, I cannot see myself returning to Milk and Honey. There are too many dining options available that prioritize customer service and food quality. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to improve the experience for future patrons
