   Really great service and food was delicious. Serving sizes have shrunk a lot and price is higher.

   Our server, Mary Catherine, was outstanding! She was very friendly and made great suggestions for our meal. She checked up on us frequently. She even followed up as we left the restaurant but forgot our leftovers, she brought them to us! Our wonderful meal was made even better by her incredible attention to us! Thank you!!!

   Went into the restaurant and was seated. Server went to the table beside us as we were the only tables around with people and did not return to serve us. After a 10 minute wait in a fairly empty restaurant, we got up and left. Upon leaving the front door, we were told have a nice evening. Now I know why the restaurant was fairly empty as the customer service is horrendous despite a sign outside that says under new management. How can you seat customers and not address them within a reasonable amount of time? Fortunately, there were many other restaurants within walking distance of this one and the service we received elsewhere was outstanding. Buyer beware.

   We enjoyed the experience. The food was all tasty and generous portions. Service was great. Hostess sat us at a dirty table. We moved ourselves and the server was fine with it. Other guests were seated close which wasn’t necessary on a slow Wednesday during early dinner service. Hostess needs some training. Free dessert was nice to celebrate my birthday.

   Sadly our experience was disappointing today. Initially we were greeted by our server and discussed GF options available plus ordered drinks. We were waiting for our son to join us so didn’t order right away. Once our son arrived our server wasn’t anywhere to be found and I think another server overheard our conversation about how we don’t know what happened to her so she was kind enough to take our order. Our server dropped off a drink but no check in on whether the rest of us wanted another drink, simply walked away. When our food arrived she didn’t come back to ask if we were enjoying it or if it was good. My salmon was quite dry and I wanted to ask for something I could drizzle over it but no one was around. Once we finished eating, the second server again went out of her way to check in on us and take our plates. I mentioned how much we appreciated her service and wondered if we had done something to upset our server as she didn’t seem to care whether we needed anything else. She could’ve sold us on additional drinks, some dessert or coffee. Overall not even sure what really happened and cannot explain her behaviour other than she was not doing her job and therefore did not deserve a tip. The manager did apologize to us and offered a discount off our our bill which was very kind of her. I will come back to dine at this location however would ask for my special server (Ali) who cares to give exceptional service and has great interpersonal skills. I wanted to tip her instead and I will when I come back in the future. Well done Ali, you are amazing!!

   Stuffed portobello, mushroom soup and beet and goat cheese salad were absolutely fantastic! Side Caesar (which my dinner companion ordered) was extremely garlicky. Server was very, very sweet but her serving skills were mediocre at best… with more training, I believe she will be fabulous!

    Our party arrived at the restaurant at 7:20pm and were promptly seating. We ordered at approximately 7:40pm. It was over one hour before we received our meals. There seemed to be an issue with the kitchen but no explanation was given as to what the delay was. The restaurant was not busy. I had empathy for the wait staff as they were on the receiving end of anger from a few customers for the slow kitchen. That being said, there was no attempt by anyone on staff to explain the situation or offer some form of compensation for the unexpected and excessive delay (such as a complimentary appetizer). The food was enjoyable but in some instances, the portions were lacking for the cost of the entree. The 1889 burger meals seemed to have the fries rationed. Our group had never seen such a paltry amount of french fries on a restaurant entree before. At a cost of just under $300 for the meal (tip included) our group was very dissatisfied with the experience and will not be returning to Milestones in the future.
