Milestones used to be our go to restaurant but no longer for they keep removing our favourite dishes from the menu
Had a lovely birthday celebration with my kids. The food was delicious and the service was superb!
We had reserved and indicated it was a Birthday function as prompted by Open Table, but there was nothing accommodated by Milestones. Why ask the question as part of the reservation
Steak was raw and 95% fat. Server was amazing and service was great but food was very disappointing, would still recommend due to ambience and service.
Great server, engaging and attentive. Yummy food too.
Bunch of girls together for Girls night out. Amazing value. Fantastic service great food. Unfortunately there was another group of ladies there that were very loud. We had to leave we couldn’t hear each other talk
We met friends for Sunday Brunch.
The special including a mimosa, fruit cup and choice of Eggs Benedict was wonderful. My companions ordered the breakfast tacos which they enjoyed. The portions were generous and the food was hot.
Service was so so, not to mention the Belini machine was down on a Saturday evening ??? Food was very good though. For a Saturday evening servers seemed they should be working a lunch shift rather than a diner shift.
Great atmosphere and service! The cocktails are delicious and the food tasty! We come here every couple months for a girls' get together.
Took 15 minutes to get a drink.....the appetizer came before the drinks.
Waitress forgot to bring my left overs.
Will not be returning
We went for lunch with the family for Easter. Everyone's food we good. Milestone accommodated several food allergies: Gluten, Soy and Garlic.
I would recommend Milestones to others.
Our waiter was prompt and attentive. The food was tasty and timely. The Mediterranean chicken dish was excellent. We will definitely return.
The prime rib was suburb. The vegetables were a bit scarce, and the options of side dishes was somewhat limited.
Dinner was very disappointing. The 8 oz top sirloin was definitely not 8oz. It was smaller than a 6oz filet offered at the Keg. It was this little lump on my plate. I asked for double veggies and received a small serving of green beans. See the picture attached - I had not taken a bite and put my fork beside the steak so you can see the size. This dish was not worth even half of the $27 I paid. When the hostess delivered the steak I was really surprised and quickly said - "wow that's the smallest steak I have ever seen!" She basically ignored me and walked away. I also pointed it out to the waitress who told me that the sirloins were typically all that size. All I can say is shame on Milestones!
It is one of my favourite places to eat with friends - servers always so friendly and helpful
The waitress was fantastic... can't remember her name. It was Mon March 5th around 4:30pm.
We all ordered the raosted beet and goat cheese salad and it was absolutely scrumptious!!! Best I've ever had.
food was cold and we were missing the bacon on a sandwich. so they brought the bacon to the table on a side plate. service was slow
Had a great table so we could sit side by side and have quiet conversation. Nice atmosphere and comfortable. Great friendly service without feeling rushed. Lots of menu choices. Yummy burgers.
My friends meal was outstanding she said.
My chicken was dry, overall taste not exciting.
I love Milestones - good diverse menu, great cocktails and an excellent wine list. All that stone is quite noisy and it is hard at times to hear the conversation when sitting at the tables. The booths are much better sound-wise. Our server was great and we had a good time overall. I ordered the Steak Frites, and the ‘frites’ are not frites at all but regular French fries. The steak-frite combination should have the long skinny potatoes that absorb the steak juice better. Also, my friend got extra vegetables instead of rice and it was all bok choy. That was a lot of bok choy! Overall, a good night.
The food was tasty and well presented. Valentine dinner (post). Wasn’t really happy with the seating, but it was a very busy Saturday evening. Glad I made a reservation. Very noisy atmosphere, not overly romantic. Wish there were more seafood options. Overall a nice dinner out.
Delish food. Staff was kinda and funny. Lovely wine recommended, was great.
Was served a tough end cut of prime rib. With rope still partially on it. Waste of time and money. Not to mention they did not honor my open table reservation. Despite this the waiter was excellent. Management is clueless. No one at reception for 5 minutes. Cook staff mist be be from a one start Cuban resort. Never again.
Facility was really noisy, not enough booths, fries that I got with the steak frites were stale/cold, and the steak serving size looked pretty small.
Too bad, as we are ( were ) frequent customers.
My husband felt his steak was ruined swimming in gravy - he has never had a steak with gravy all over it. Disappointing. I had Mediterranean chicken which was very dry, hardly any onions and tomatoes, too many chickpeas. All in all a disappointing birthday dinner.
Christmas rush perhaps. Service was very slow - for a lunch waiting 45 minutes from ordering is not acceptable. Food was good, server was polite. They mixed up the spicy vs non-spicy version of one of the dishes and didn't know which was which when asked.
Disable access could be a bit restrictive - sunken sections with stairs in some areas and somewhat narrow.
Why are there no places to hang coats?
It took a really long time and we were late returning to work.
Food was good apart fromthe food menu was great, unfortunately the noodles were cooked to dearly the noodle
The service was stellar. I like the "new" menu although I do miss my Shrimps Dianne.....overall the flavours are good and would like to make this my go-to spot, but the food is usually overcooked which lends to the proteins being very dry.
What a disappointment. Been dining there since it opened. First time booked reservation thru Open Table, so in remarks provided details like birthday celebration, and 1 diner had shell fish allergy.
Server was asked/told again when entry selected only chicken no shrimp due to allergy, but meal arrived with shrimp.
Server supervisor came to take dish away and had the nerve to say they did not know. Guess we had to tell them about the allergy more than twice. At least he comped that meal.
Server also got grand daughter's order wrong and told what she wanted only told twice before he left the table. Pattern here.
Finally no normal cheese cake with candle for birthday boy. But then we only noted this with the reservation. Conclusion: Do not use OpenTable to book, and repeat order 3 times. 👎🏻
Upscale decor, good service, mediocre chain food. I had the steak, onion strings, and parmesan fries. Steak was ok, came pre-cut which was kind of odd. Onion strings - zero salt or flavor somehow. Parm. fries - the parm was just a big pile of it on top of the first few fries, none below....so the pile all fell off when you picked up a fry and ended up at the bottom of the small bowl of fries instead of on them. If you tossed the parm. properly with the fries right out of the fryer in a bowl, it would all stick to the fries evenly and season them all, not just fall off. My wife had the red curry rice dish with asian vegetables. Red curry sauce was good, rice was good, asian 'veggies' were hilarious. The red curry and rice was put ON TOP of all the vegetables, which were also warmed with some kind of vinegarette that totally didn't work with the red curry taste-wise. The veggies looked more like a salad....who puts a rice dish ON TOP of a salad? lol. We questioned that and were told that's how they do it and it wasn't a salad but asian vegetables. Um...k.....so why the vinegarette coating then? Also, what do you think of when you hear 'asian vegetables'? Napa cabbage, bok choy, snow peas, broccoli, carrots, green onions, mushrooms, red pepper maybe, bamboo shoots, radish, etc etc. The Milestones 'asian veggies' - cherry tomatoes, red onions, and bok choy....all doused in some kind of vinegarette. Cherry tomatoes? Red onion? Not too asian. So, I guess the bok choy made it asian all by itself. I will give full credit here, they replaced the dish no questions asked -- service was great, so my critiques are more about the food prep and whoever thinks up these dishes at corporate level. Kitchen staff could use a little common sense on preparation, though, and not put hot rice on top of a salad (not exactly easy to eat that way even if it was good) and season fries when they come out of the fryer or nothing will stick to them.
Went for dinner because I had the scene points e-mail for 2000 points. Because we had a specific menu and I am a vegetarian, my only option on this menu was salad. Although it was very good, I was disappointed that I didn't have a choice in entrees and I would normally have only ordered salad if it was summertime.
food uninspired tasted out of a box meat tough blue cheese butter was only butter and mac and cheese side plain boiled pasta
Haven't been here in a while and we won't be back any time soon.
We apparently ordered off the wrong menu (no other menu was provided) when it came to getting the bonus Scene points and "nothing" could be done about it.
Unfortunate as I'm sure they could have easily assigned the points based on the $100 bill ran up.
Good for a visit with friends if you are on the main level. I've been in the lower section and the level of sound was aweful. Need some kind of baffle on the ceiling. Otherwise a great spot.
Great location, excellent food and fabulous service!
We had a reservation booked for 7:30. I had a table & my wife had a table reserved under her name. We were 8 in total.
Arrived at 7:15. Were told our 1 table was given away & that half of our group could sit the other half would have to wait 30 min. I understand giving a table away if we were late, but we were 15 min early. Not sure if the hostesses know what a reservation means. Poor customer service
It was way overcrowded tonight. The waiter was not attentive enough - had to ask twice for things. They have reallly squished in more tables than they used to have, which affects the overall ambience.
Roast beef sandwich with side California sandwich was very good & I would order it again. Even though it was not overly busy our waitress forgot my water & also forgot my coffee & the coffee was on our bill. Comfortable booth & pretty good menu.
Super friendly service. Very accommodating with table selection. Lots of options on the menu. Our lunch was not bad but I think we didn't make the best choice. Looking forward to returning and trying out some other menu items. Very pleasant atmosphere.
