Milantoni Italian Restaurant
Service was slow for the large party that we had, but food was great, server attentive, and kids enjoyed. Will definitely return. Sangria is a must!
This is certainly a "homey" spot tucked away in an old Wendy's, so it's funny and quirky. The food is truly authentic Italian and very, very good! The wait staff is friendly and there always seems to be a party going on. Fun, friendly, and great value. We love it!
I only gave the numbers I gave because it was the only way Open Table would allow me to post. Actually we did not eat here as the manager told me she was unable to honor our reservation. She said they were overwhelmed by the fact that Open Table did not close reservations. Neither the restaurant nor Open Table thought it necessary to inform me of this. Quite the Mother’s Day gift to have 12 people expecting to share lunch only to be told “we can’t honor your reservation.” Thanks for nothing Open Table and Milantoni. Won’t have to worry about me patronizing either ever again. I’ll simply call myself in the future. Unbelievable simply unbelievable.
Warm and somewhat attentive service. The food was unappetizing all around. We won’t be back.
The three of us tried different dinners and they were all just mediocre. They lacked flavor. Need to step up the seasonings. Loved the Parmesan bread appetizer!
Service was wonderful and everyone there was super friendly.
Atmosphere lacked a clean fresh look.
The food was decent, but the sauces were really thick. I would have liked good ole fashioned hot out of the oven Italian bread. It reminded me of a chain restaurant, not a mom and pops restaurant. I was hoping for mom and pops.
Two Baked Spaghetti with meat sauce and one Fettuccine Alfredo. All delicious. Sweet teas were fresh and sweet. Our food was delicious. The restaurant is in an old renovated building of some sort. The outside has little aesthetic appeal. The inside had an Italian decor and was pleasant. The dining room was not crowded, but two large groups seated near us were quite boisterous. My husband and daughter said the N Y Cheesecakes were good also.
We have been going to Milantoni since it opened. We're never disappointed. However, I think that this visit showed some growing pains. Because I'm comfortable there, I always order the same 2 or 3 items. My dish was wonderful as always as was my husband's. Our friend, who goes with us frequently to eat there usually gets pizza. This time, it was very bland and the crust wasn't really crunchy. There were many soft, gooey spots. Also, the bread was different this visit. Not bad, but with a very different taste. We like the original one better!
My one gripe with this restaurant is their side salad. It costs $5 and all it is is Iceberg Lettuce and some cheese and cherry tomatoes. The salad dressings are amazing but for that price, there should be better lettuce and some other veggies on it. Never order a salad because of it!
We recommend this restaurant to everyone. I hope that opening the 2 new stores doesn't ruin the quality of the original one.
Enjoyed visiting this hidden jewel on Hurstbourne Pkwy.
Although the ambiance could use some sprucing up, the food more than made up for it.
Most everything is prepared fresh daily and the items we ordered were delicious and served HOT. The bread was excellent.
The service was friendly and prompt.
Looking forward to our next visit and will recommend Milantoni to family and friends.
Food was good and reasonably priced. Was in a converted Wendy’s fast food restaurant and the interior was not elegant. It was certainly serviceable though. While my reservation was confirmed by Oprn Table the restaurant never received it and they said they were having trouble with Open Table. Got there early enough so it wasn’t an issue
Food was very good and freshly prepared. From prior evaluations we were prepared for a wait. Service was a little slow, but the staff was very friendly. Not sure they had enough employees working for the amount of people that were seated.
My baked Zita was the best I’ve ever had. Tiramisu was wonderful. I will return for sure. Even in its humble location, the service and food was first class
The room was really cold. Our table was near the door. You really need to have a double door system so the outside air-- hot or cold doesn't change the interior temperature so drastically. Otherwise, everything was great!
I ordered chicken picata. What came out was chicken in a red sauce. The corrected version was rubbery.
Food was excellent and serving sizes more than ample. Very friendly staff hat checked on us frequently.
Only negative was parking. I parked behind gas station as their lot was full. When we left, two truck was just pulling up... so watch out! I was lucky!!!
No liquor license but food was good. Many kids
Food is excellent, but service was horrible. We were given our meal for free as compensation and told that service is better on weeknights. We don't typically go out during the week, so not sure if we will be able to come back. I would like to give this place a second shot, but if service is bad on Saturday nights, not sure what the point is. Shame, though. Food is amazing!
No liquor license is a problem. Great food
Great food! Everything Homemade! Very friendly atmosphere and family owned. Free complimentary bread was amazing!
Great homemade Italian food.
Delicious. Some of the best Alfredo ever.
This was our 2nd visit. I had the baked ziti both times! The homemade sauce is delicious! My husband had the sausage & pasta & loved it! No liquor license yet, so no wine, but the bread sticks & sauce filled us up instead!
Excellent food. We had six different entrees and all were delicious. Will definitely be going back. Hopefully next time, the liquor license will have come through.
