First time back at Milagros in quite some time, and we were disappointed in the food quality. One of our entrees (seafood enchiladas) came out cold -- which basically means that the dish is just kept in a refrigerator until heated. When we complained, they heated up the dish and brought it back. And, they also deleted that entree from the check, giving it to us for free. Not only for that reason, in general the service was really great. They were working hard, too.
It's not my first time at Milagros, but the service was great this time around. The drinks were tasty and our server (Monica) was attentive and got our food orders when we were ready.
The only thing about this experience was that we had the booth right by the door and it was loud with everyone coming in and out. It also meant we were neighboring the bar, which was also noisy. My friends and I had to talk loudly to each other. When I return, I would probably request not to be in that booth unless it were a quieter night.
Chicken fajitas were very oily and chicken was super chunky. The fajitas had more onions than anything. The steak that we also got had a weird coAting on it and was super fatty and hard to eat. The best part of the whole meal was the chips and guac.
I always come here and think the next time I come it will be different, but I don’t think I will ever be back. Also the lady who I talked to about my reservation was very rude, her name was Cheyanne. When I put in a request for a certain table she sounded like a recording, saying they won’t be able to accommodate any special table requests and to top it offthey didn’t even accommodate my request.
Haven’t had anything bad here. Though there was one off day where my favorite meal wasn’t as good as it usually is, but I tried it again this last visit and it was as delicious. Ambiance is cool, a bit loud if you’re trying to have a conversation but not too bad.
This was my third time at Milagros, and they have delivered every time. The first time was lunch with family, including small children, and everyone had a wonderful meal. The second time was a birthday dinner with a friend, and it was very special. This time was two couples getting together on a Saturday night, including a strict carnivore, a strict vegetarian, one person on diet, and one normal person! We all found several options on the menu, ordered different meals, and everything was delicious! The super bueno bowl with chili lime spiced seared salmon was amazing, and my husband said the skirt steak was the best he's ever had. The server was attentive but not hovering - the best! We sat outside where it was quieter than inside, and it was nice and warm from the heat lamps, even though it was only in the 50s that night. Awesome restaurant! We'll be back soon!
We love Milagros! Our first visit and everything was great. We particularly loved the cocktails - I had a watermelon margarita with some spicy sugar on the rim - yum! We each had 3 different kinds of tacos - unusual fillings such as sweet potato, quinoa with a lime crema, coconut shrimp and my favorite, mahi mahi. The service was terrific, very friendly. It was pretty noisy in parts especially outside, but what do you want on a Friday night in hot weather?! They seated us in the back room where it was much quieter and very pleasant. We will be back!
Friend found a hair in the mango salsa. Told the waiter and he offered to get us more salsa. Actually her daughter slapped the chip out of her hand before she ate it.
Also the political healthcare charge on the bill is annoying.
I highly recommend the chilaquiles for brunch. It's a beautiful dish and very filling. I enjoy taking one bite with the red sauce and another bite with the green sauce.
Bottomless mimosas. What can I say? Great deal but sometimes slow to notice refill. Waitress has burden of service, bussers only bring out or pick up plates.
We hadn't been here in a couple of years. Everything was really good, from the guacamole and margaritas to the corn small plate and AMAZING fish tacos. I had salmon and my husband also tried the mahi mahi. We heard the coconut shrimp tacos are also worth checking out. Good kids menu. Would be a great place for happy hour, especially with the outdoor seating.
