Milagros Ratings and Reviews
Our server was great and the food was delicious. The reason for the 3-star overall rating is based on our interaction with the hostess. We came in and asked for a table for two and were asked if we had a reservation. Since we had no reservation, we had to find a table in bar area (no seats available) or sit outside (too cold for us). It seemed the only way to get a table inside was to have a reservation. I told the hostess I’m logging into Open Table to book a reservation, which was so weird since I’m talking directly to her already?! She said she couldn’t seat us inside without a reservation. I booked the reservation and my name appeared in the system, and she seemed surprised. Why, I’m not sure since I booked it right in front of her. She then sat us right away at a table inside but didn’t say anything else to us. It was just a weird experience since tables were available and no one else was waiting.
Server was great, apps were great, but they brought out the wrong entrees to us (and the table next to us). They offered to redo the meals (all of us got buritos instead of burrito bowls) but said the kitchen was backed up and it would take awhile. We had to make a movie and decided to eat what we got (but we really didnt eat much of it since it wasnt what we wanted). They did comp our entrees, but overall we didnt get what we ordered/wanted.
Searching for options on New Years Eve that were still available and came across Milagros. My husband and I loved it! I love Mole and had the Mole Chicken Enchiladas, and it's hard to find a good Mole, and theirs was fantastic. My husband did a trio of tacos and loved the pork the best. We will definitely come back and bring others with us.
We had a reservation and we still waited 20 minutes after making the hostess aware we had a reservation and a walk-in was seated before us. My food and another party’s food came out cold. This is after waiting 10 minutes for drinks and another long wait to order. Our waiter was pleasant but overwhelmed working a large party and another table across the restaurant from us. Our waiter did recover by having our two dishes re-heated quickly. We have visited twice with disappointment. The best part was the drinks!
Great night! It was my birthday and the waiter brought a tequila shot - we didn’t tell him it was my birthday, he just picked up on it from the conversation! We had some complicated/modified orders also and he was super helpful about that and our menu questions!
Had the churrasco skirt steak . Wasn't even warm. It was cold. Like it was pre- made and put on the plate. The plantains looked very greasy. Did not try them. The entree did not feel like a good value for $28.00. The other members of our dinner party did enjoy their entrees and said they were warm. They got the Fajitas and small plates. But honestly this is like the third time I've been to Miligros where my food has been brought to the table lukewarm or cold.
First time back at Milagros in quite some time, and we were disappointed in the food quality. One of our entrees (seafood enchiladas) came out cold -- which basically means that the dish is just kept in a refrigerator until heated. When we complained, they heated up the dish and brought it back. And, they also deleted that entree from the check, giving it to us for free. Not only for that reason, in general the service was really great. They were working hard, too.
It's not my first time at Milagros, but the service was great this time around. The drinks were tasty and our server (Monica) was attentive and got our food orders when we were ready.
The only thing about this experience was that we had the booth right by the door and it was loud with everyone coming in and out. It also meant we were neighboring the bar, which was also noisy. My friends and I had to talk loudly to each other. When I return, I would probably request not to be in that booth unless it were a quieter night.
