   Took my mum for lunch here yesterday. Food was really delicious. Warm, homemade masala spiced bread roll was presented to start which was lovely. Had scotch egg with curried mayo as a starter then cod in moilee sauce for main followed by caramelised pineapple and coconut ice cream for dessert. All really tasty. Service was great, we just wish it had been a bit busier. There was only 3 other tables full so very quiet amd not sure how they will survive at that rate. Hope they get busier as the food deserves more. Not cheap but great quality food was worth the price.

   We had a wonderful evening at Milaanj on the Friday evening ahead of the early May bank holiday. The choices on the menu were all delectable which, as pescatarians, is always a good sign! After more or less ordering every dish on the menu we were able to eat (a good number!) as they all sounded so good, we were served a wonderful fresh spiced bread with masala butter that was very special and got our tastebuds tingling. We were then served the small plates, starters and main courses that we ordered. Each perfectly presented and a beautifully curated set of flavours. We enjoyed them all very much! We left feeling very well-fed with exquisite food. We look forward to returning and hope the restaurant goes from strength to strength.

   A really lovely meal on a gorgeous warm night. Excellent service, lovely food with something gut everyone. The bread is amazing!

   My partner enthusiastically recommended this restaurant on the basis of past reviews and the fact that I like European and she likes Indian food and it was advertised as 'fusion'. The evening didn't quite turn out like this and she has since read that the previous chef has left. I don't like spicy food, she does. There was little choice on the menu. The wine starts at £30, 40 a bottle. It was Saturday night and by the time we left we were the only diners in the place. I can't see how this will survive. I notced beforehand that they had Rebellion beer on tap and had planned to drink that. I was told they didn't have any and they had Timothy Landlord instead which is not my favourite. Disappointing experience old round. A waste of £80.

   Fabulous restaurant and food. Very different to the normal “Indian “ meal out. It was a Thursday so it was Curry Night. Will definitely visit again to try out the main menu. It was my husband’s birthday so to finish the meal they presented a lovely plate of cookies with a candle and Happy Birthday message in chocolate! Expensive meal but worth it for the different menu and choice.

   Great food, very well presented and some novel flavour combinations. Excellent service. Not the cheapest but definitely worth a try.
