Our cuisine is inspired by Southern French flavors and techniques with additional influences from neighboring countries on the Mediterranean. You'll find some classic French dishes we've made our own as well as an outstanding Oyster & Raw bar.

Our 3 season patio can accommodate larger parties. It is located under a covered canopy with walls that can be drawn during good weather and lowered when necessary. To make a reservation for a party larger than five, please call the restaurant for availability.

We are currently only open for dinner service, but will be expanding to Lunch and Brunch in the coming weeks.

Excellent place to share plates. The mussels and the charcuterie were perfect starters, and the blue plate fish n chips and the French dip were both excellent. The drinks were phenomenal and our server, Stacey, was outstanding and attentive without being intrusive. The team really worked well together as Stacey let out food digest from each course before bringing out the next one. I can’t say enough good things about Mikette. Between Osteria and this, the owners know what they’re doing.

Excellent service with nice appetizer and wine selection; the mussels were wonderful; the full dinner and sandwich options were both very good as well. Overall, Mikette is very good but I was surprised that dinner for two, when one of us only had a sandwich, and we shared one appetizer, came to $100.

We absolute LOVE Mikette! Courtney, the manager, is 1st class ALL THE WAY! Staff, service & food is wonderful. I’d highly recommend going in on a Wednesday for their Chicken Pot Pie daily special (only on Wed). Salmon is also rockin’!

First time there. Interesting place. Overall, a laid back atmosphere. We shared 3 appetizers, which were all very good. The entrees that we ordered were very good as well. I will say they were a bit skimpy for the price point. The Beef Bourguignon was really nice, but smaller than I would have expected. One of us had the salmon and said the appetizers were better. In short, if I were to return, I would opt for a glass of wine and some shareable small plates.

I went to this place for my birthday party. I ordered their cocktail, that so good! Interior of restaurant is so impressive. Red color, beautiful frames, antiqued clock, etc... ambiance is perfect for special day. We ordered some sharing dishes, but amount of dishes is not enough for sharing. However, tastes of dishes were very delicious. We are satisfied about all dishes.

Saturday afternoon lunch. We started with gruyere fondue and beet salad which were both good. Entrees were great: tried branzino in lemon caper sauce with cauliflower and roast chicken which was classic and perfectly done.

We absolutely LOVE Mikette! It's our go to for either sitting @ the bar or meeting friends for dinner. The burger is over the top amazing. If you love fish, try the Branzino (Big enough for 2) or the Salmon (perfect for one).

Sunday night casual dinner with an out-of-town friend. The server was friendly and knowledgeable, and offered tastings of wine that we were unfamiliar with. Lovely food, especially the kale salad. Very noisy, however, so hard to talk. One of my favorite places in Ann Arbor, nonetheless.

Nice little bistro on the north side of Ann Arbor. A decent French take on most menu items. Shared a few appetizers such as escargot, croquettes, and gougere. Our entrees were the chicken and beef stew. My wife and I enjoyed our apps more than the entrees. Decent pricing, free parking. Not a bad deal

I have been to Mikette for lunch and dinner many times and have never been disappointed. The food choices are very tasty and creative, mostly small plates that are good for sharing. Their drinks are also very unusual. And the service is always superb!

Out of several of the entrees. Octopus appetizer came with two tiny pieces of octopus. The rest was potatoes. The server gave us a second serving at no charge. The entrees we did have were ordinary. Nothing special. Probably won’t come back.

We love Mikette. Have been several times. We brought out of town guests. He is a foodie and writes a food column for a paper in Dayton, OH. Also is a big wine geek and they were both very impressed. One minor problem is that we ordered the chocolate mouse for dessert and it took quite a while to get it. A couple of folks stropped by to tell us "it was coming" and of course, eventually it did. That was a bit odd given how quickly everything else arrived. Other than that, it was great!

We enjoyed a late Easter brunch at Mikette. We had a lovely meal, exceptional wine and outstanding service. You must try the Gougere (we split one) steaming hot out of the oven and compliments of the management. Thank you! These are usually only served at dinner so it was a special treat to enjoy one with our mid-afternoon meal. The green salad with herb de Provence vinaigrette was perfect as were the mussels and French dip with fries. Our server and the manager made sure we were well taken care of.

We go to Mikette about 2 to 3 times per month. we like it because we live on NE side of Ann Arbor so 2 minute drive. This guy knows how to run a restaurant. His other two restaurants downtown are also very good. Service is always good and they always have enough help. Only complaint with some dishes from Mikette is a bit on the salty side (eggplant side dish specifically). The salmon here is simple but excellent. Otherwise my wife and I always have a good experience.

My reservation included a request for a table easily accessed by a wheelchair and the Mikette staff went above and beyond accommodating us. The manager opened the door and assisted us to our table when we arrived and made sure we were comfortable. The food was excellent, as usual, and served impeccably by Manuel. Having lunch at Mikette is like visiting a bistro in France. We love going there and truly appreciate their attention to our special needs that day.

It's been a while since I've frequented Mikette...several months? I was a bit disappointed to see that the menu had changed slightly. The Beef Wellington that I was so looking forward to was no longer on the menu. My friend thought they used to have a delicious roast chicken, but that was also not on the menu. Our meal overall was good. The fries were disappointing as they were a bit soggy and not quite the "pomme frites" we were used to. The service was excellent and our waiter was very patient with us as we were there for a long time. Onanother note, the drinks were excellent!

This was a busy, popular spot on the north side with fusion/French fare. The service was top-notch all the way through the meal. Nice atmosphere and good drinks. The food was good, but not the best in Ann Arbor. For onion soup, I've had much better gruyere at The Earle and elsewhere - cheese that is more pungent, dry, and flavorful. It seemed the gruyere at Mikette was salty, didn't have much flavor, and was more rubbery than usual for gruyere. Otherwise, the lobster bisque was excellent, the pommes frites were tasty, and the lamb meatballs were alone worth the visit. My one suggestion - tone down the salt. Ann Arborites like to taste their food. :)

I love the other two restaurants owned by this owner- Mani and Isalitas are amazing. We ordered tuna burgers and were disappointed. The rest of the food may be great but don’t order that. The ambiance and decor is awesome and service staff was great. I will give It another shot

I've been to Mikette's several times since moving to Ann Arbor - it's generally a place I like to take guests from out-of-town. The menu is interesting and changes periodically, the food is predictably good, good energy to the establishment. It's a fun dining experience. Paying for bread and butter, okay I get it, a few other places do it so I can accept that. But, the one thing I noticed this last time that put me off was a separate charge for ($1.00) ice in our drinks - really? Our dinner was over $120 for two. Hide it in the overall price of the drink, but a separate line-item? Come on Mikette...

Although we have been frequent visitors to Mikette since opening, our last two meals were a disappointment. On March 20th, I ordered my go to burger; the Le Mac. The chef must have being texting while adding the seasoning, as what should have been a sprinkle was a pour. The burger was impossible to eat given the over whelming excess of seasoning. On March 24th, we arrived at 5:45 PM and out party of four were seated promptly. The restaurant was not busy. When our meals finally arrived shortly after 7 PM (after requesting where our meals were) everything was under cooked. The ladies had ordered the salmon and it arrived very rare and they ate the only portions that were cooked around the edges. My friend ordered the chicken "Provencal" that turned out to show blood at the bones. My "hanger steak frites", ordered medium rare, was RAW except for the char on the outside. It was raw, cold inside and not edible. I return 90% of the steak back to the kitchen. The "frites" were acceptable. A complaint to the staff yielded comps for our cocktails, but not a reorder or my requested visit by the chef. What has happened to Mikette? What has been reliable has become a disappointment.

Great first visit to this restaurant. The menu choices looked great, and our food was great too. We tried a few cocktails and were impressed there too. Our server Jennifer couldn’t have been more helpful! Definitely hearing back.

Everything was fantastic! I'd been wanting to go ever since they opened, and was able to get a last minute reservation. Honestly, we probably could have just walked in, which I don't get --- the food and atmosphere were terrific. Either everyone came for brunch earlier that day, or their brunch is the best kept secret in town.

Its a beautiful space and was a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Being a vegan I cant really rate the food other than to say there was very little I could eat. But the birthday boy enjoyed his app, entree and complimentary dessert so that is all that mattered. I really wish they would put a veg entree on the menu that could easily be adapted for the vegans. I cant be the only one in A2. And our server was AMAZING!

Food was excellent and service very good and friendly. Didn't like that you have to pay for bread and butter, though, and the restaurant is fairly noisy. Still would recommend though given quality of food and service.
