Mignonette es un bar de ostras de Miami dirigido por los chefs Daniel Serfer y Ryan Roman. Dispone de una gran selección de ostras, mariscos y verduras. Daniel Serfer, originario de Miami, abrió su 1er restaurante, Blue Collar, en enero de 2012. Blue Collar, frecuentado por habitantes y visitantes, ofrece platillos estadounidenses en un ambiente informal junto a un prostíbulo. Basándose en el éxito de Blue Collar, Mignonette se ubica en un entorno accesible y divertido donde los clientes pueden disfrutar de una docena de ostras, una botella de champán, los platillos clásicos de marisco como ostras Rockefeller y almejas Casino y una elegante torre de marisco. I love this place, been many times. The marinara sauce for the mussels could be top in the city and the oysters….Especially the grilled ones are special. Don’t forget the red fish, as well as the filet and chicken for non fish peeps is solid as well.

Another wonderful meal at our favorite Miami seafood restaurant. Great oysters and lovely fish, with good sides and lots of flavor. Crispy skin snapper for both of us after a dozen East Coast oysters. Staff was very good and helped us celebrate anniversary with comp-ed glass of bubbly We'll be back

The cornbread is amazing! So are the charred oysters. For our anniversary we were given two glasses of champagne which was very nice. The key lime pie was missing the tart of key lime. The whole snapper was a bit salty but overall good. The old bay chips were very good as well. The Lobster Roll had a good amount of lobster and the cheesy polenta was delicious. Overall very good, will come back!

By the end of the meal, everyone was happy. But when we first arrived the a/c was off in the section where we were seated, the music was too loud, the service was slow, and there was a bad smell. If our group had not been so large, we might have left. The staff did turn on the air once we asked them to do so. The music was never really lowered even though they said it was. But the food helped us forget the inconveniences. Everything really was delicious. Only issue in this regard was that we asked them to split a dish. The server came back from the kitchen and said they could not do that. For a group that made the restaurant’s night, they should have been accommodating. This was a last minute reservation for 8 people who had appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine. If we had not arrived it would have been a very slow night for the business.

Mignonette is one of those rare Miami gems that has maintained its excellence in food and service over the years. We love its cozy, unpretentious feel which reminds us of trendy, low key restaurants in NYC. Everything about the meal is an experience to be savored- from the appetizers to the dessert, it’s all a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. We need to go more often!
