Every single aspect of this restaurant is incredible. The food, service, and atmosphere are truly unmatched. Its covid guidelines were incredibly safe and staff took extreme precaution. This was truly a unique dining experience that I will remember for the rest of my life!

A Michelin level restaurant waiting to be discovered.

I was not expecting a lot when I first looked at the menu they had during covid because I didn’t see much sushi or raw japanese dishes. I came for a birthday and we love Japanese food so we were unsure if we would enjoy the food. However, the food turned out delicious. We ordered their sashimi special for the night and uni sampler set which was more than enough to satisfy our sushi cravings. The fois gras and entrees were all amazing, especially the duck confit. It was so tender yet crispy and full of flavor. I have to say i even loved the bread because it was soft and perfectly toasted. I was so close to cancelling my reservation because of the limited menu I saw a few days before our reservation but I’m so glad I didn’t. Highly recommended and will definitely come back in the future.

We had a great time except our waitress forgot to mention daily specials which we overheard from another table and thought we would have enjoyed them. Overall great time and different but delicious food. We will be back.

The food at Mifune is excellent. Every dish we ordered was delicious and the cocktails were also extremely well made. It's a little pricey so not exactly an every day kind of place, but you certainly get what you pay for. Also, the service was excellent. Our server Miyumi (forgive the likely misspelling) was an absolute delight.

Dining at MIFUNE was such a special experience. They have a beautiful space for outdoor dining in front of the restaurant. It's nice and quiet, and the tables are spread out. I started with the mixed greens salad, which they served in a special dressing for me. Delicious. I then had the grilled branzino with vegetables. It was beyond exquisite - probably the best branzino that I had in my life. I finished with the mango / chocolate dessert served with caramel ice cream. Sensational. The service was superb and the prices extremely reasonable for such refined cooking. Five stars and then some.

Amazing cocktails! The tempura king crab/veggies was great, the Waugh beef was very tender and yummy. I strongly recommend this restaurant for any Occassion.

Nice outdoor space in the front plaza provides for plenty of room for social distancing. The menu was changed to account for the circumstances, but everything we ordered (and we ordered a lot) was excellent.

I loved the food here before covid, but they changed their menu. It's French inspired. Extremely disappointed. The food is bad. I'm not going back until it changes back to Japanese menu

As ALWAYS the staff has exquisite attention to detail. My wife is sensitive to citrus, and in dishes where they used citrus they upgraded her experience with a substitution.

The pairings are always a treat! Meticulous thought goes into how the wine will uplift the incredible UMAMI the chefs deliver.

Again this restaurant and these chefs need some attention from Michelin !

Exquisite restaurant. Good attention to detail, we didn't even need to ask for anything. Everything was given before we had to even think about it. A place I would definitely go back to.

The waiter and chief didn't hear our decision of the food, and the wagyu beef is so salty. I was so sorry to bring my girlfriend to there for our anniversary.

Can't say enough good things about the location, the food, the service, and although it's a little pricey in general, not really when compared to other Japanese restaurants of similar quality and offerings. This is my new favorite 'go-to' in NYC.

You can enjoy various authentic Japanese foods. Suhi and sashimi are so fresh.
