Great starters. My girlfriend has duck for main dish which was tough and chewy. I had filet and it was cold. Other dishes were really nice though.

Saw the following “Eater” video (https://youtu.be/vPuhAHJjEIA) and thought it looked amazing. Called up my cousin in NYC, since I was going to be there that weekend for business, and made reservations.

Was everything we were expecting. We ordered the full tasting menu with the wine pairing. All of the courses were delicious and amazing. The service was outstanding, the wines delicious, and served with great aplomb and background by the Somm. The pairing of a deep background in French flavors and techniques with the fresh and delicious Japanese palette makes for the best combination of the two. The surprise of the evening was getting to meet chef Yuu at the end and thank him for such a delicious meal.

Food was good but unlikely to return due to a stupid rule. You are not allowed to order both tasting menus for a party yet they do not require entire party to participate in the tasting menu. Makes no sense.

We went for NYE. They only offered the tasting menu. It was 8 courses. The first course which included a few different bites, along with the filet were the two favorites. The dessert was nothing special. It was some sort of sugar cane mochi with creme around it. We didn’t particularly care for it. We do love Japanese food and seafood, but didn’t feel like mostvof the courses were anything to weite home about. The service was nice, staff was friendly. Decor was nice and it had ambiance. I would have liked to try the the menu to see the difference. Sake drum was fun!

We found some paper labels in our rice and the restaurant’s solution was adding a small ice cream dish.

Food was edible, however skip the rice pot/dish as it was super dry. Service was poor. Drinks were decent. Environment was decent although tables were close together (and restroom was like a furnace, both men's and women's). Unlikely to return.

Sumptuous, thoughtful, clean-flavored courses in Chef’s Tasting menu. Service was as special as the food. Terrific!
