This review is for the Thanksgiving buffet experience *ONLY*. Ambiance was nice and quiet. Staff was nice, and took dishes away quickly. Food tasted, for the most part good, or great, even. However, virtually every dish you would expect to be hot/warm was cold or just barely above that. Yes, even the stuff at the carving station. What also surprised me was the fact that *every* dish there terribly overdone and very dry. On top of that, the taste? Mediocre, at best. Really wasn't a fan of the salmon, even though I usually love it. The hot chocolate and apple cider? Both lukewarm, unfortunately, with the hot chocolate being more like hot chocolate syrup instead. Man, that stuff was heavy. The roasted brussels sprouts were not, in fact, roasted. Or at least they did not appear to be. More like just lightly cooked and seasoned. The list goes on. At 120 a head, forgive me for expecting my food to be hot and not overdone (or in the case of the brussels sprouts, not cooked enough). I get that we are paying a bit more for the convenience and the staff taking time away from their families during this holiday, but I honestly feel like for what I and my family got, price per head should've been perhaps a bit more than half of what was charged. So, I will say this. If the food had been hot, not over/under cooked, I would have far less to complain about. As stated before, for the most part, the food tasted good/fine. If Miel addresses the aforementioned issues next year, I'm sure there would be very little to complain about.
