Thanksgiving buffet was great. Lots of variety, all well prepared. Only complaint was that the food was not hot, but it is understandable with a buffet. Great service.

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet. Though some of the dishes were truly delicious…most of the food was room temperature. There weren’t really many classic thanksgiving sides, but the cheese roast potato’s were awesome and the acorn squash soup was to die for. All the meat was room temp and had clearly been out for a while. The bread table…all the bread was hard and not flavorful at all. Another concern as someone who has nut allergies, the ice cream station, the server used one scoop for three different flavours including one with nuts. When I asked if he could get a fresh one to get a flavour without nuts he said no. Our waiter was super sweet but very busy. Definitely not worth the $120 price tag. Wouldn’t go back.

This review is for the Thanksgiving buffet experience *ONLY*. Ambiance was nice and quiet. Staff was nice, and took dishes away quickly. Food tasted, for the most part good, or great, even. However, virtually every dish you would expect to be hot/warm was cold or just barely above that. Yes, even the stuff at the carving station. What also surprised me was the fact that *every* dish there terribly overdone and very dry. On top of that, the taste? Mediocre, at best. Really wasn't a fan of the salmon, even though I usually love it. The hot chocolate and apple cider? Both lukewarm, unfortunately, with the hot chocolate being more like hot chocolate syrup instead. Man, that stuff was heavy. The roasted brussels sprouts were not, in fact, roasted. Or at least they did not appear to be. More like just lightly cooked and seasoned. The list goes on. At 120 a head, forgive me for expecting my food to be hot and not overdone (or in the case of the brussels sprouts, not cooked enough). I get that we are paying a bit more for the convenience and the staff taking time away from their families during this holiday, but I honestly feel like for what I and my family got, price per head should've been perhaps a bit more than half of what was charged. So, I will say this. If the food had been hot, not over/under cooked, I would have far less to complain about. As stated before, for the most part, the food tasted good/fine. If Miel addresses the aforementioned issues next year, I'm sure there would be very little to complain about.

I went for their Thanksgiving day buffet. Lovely and bountiful food presentation. Unfortunately the food was cold, and the stuffing and potatoes had no flavor. Dessert table was the best. Wonderful variety. Service was top notch-Nico made my holiday meal extra special. Dining room is spacious and with the large windows overlooking the water, on a sunny day the room is bright and it's a nice view.

The menu lacked variety and for a Saturday evening at 7 PM there was no atmosphere or energy in the space. Drink menu had nothing to speak of, no variety nothing that caught your attention

The food was amazing, so much flavor! I had the sea scallops and my husband the Chicken. The menu is small but if everything on it is tasty ; for sure we will keep coming back. The ambiance is unfortunately not special. It needs some «  energy «  and je ne sais quoi !

the kitchen was clearly not in a competent state. the rolls came out cold and rock hard nearly inedible. the clam chowder would need to be rated worse in Boston. it is sad since i had one of the more memorable dinners at Miel the last time i visited. I can't recommend. richard

Miel was a wonderful place to have a quiet lunch. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The servers were polite and didn’t come over more often than necessary. I would highly recommend this restaurant…in fact, I already have to a multiple coworkers! 11/10 experience.

We enjoyed a late afternoon snack on the outside patio along the waterfront. The food and service was perfect. We enjoyed and tasted classics, French onion soup ( French restaurant duh! ), New England clam chowder (loaded!) and Cesar salads. We added a fig and goat cheese flatbread too and that was delicious!

Delicious food and an excellent cocktail selection. We got a seat by the window with beautiful views of the channel, and it was quiet and calm (on a Wednesday evening) so my friend and I could enjoy the views, cocktails and have a wonderful conversation. Would definitely recommend, for both a business dinner, a dinner with a friend or a romantic date/special occasion.

This has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a well regarded hotel location. The food, the service and ambiance was so marginal, in hindsight, I am not surprised we were the only diners on a Friday evening at 7 pm. One other party sat down and walked out. Very disappointing evening that came with a $150 bill (without even ordering alcohol).

We had a reservation for four we arrived and sat promptly. However, it took quite a while for our server to come over, overall very disappointed with the quality of food. We had to send back the steaks many times, not just for wellness, but for taste , salad bar was not maintained properly, very disappointing and probably will not return. definitely not worth the price point.

The food selection was absolutely fantastic, and everything was cooked to perfection. The roast and brioche French toast were highlights, and the lobster Benedict had huge chunks of lobster. The variety made every plate interesting, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was attentive without being overly forward. The dessert station was a favorite as well, and although perfectly on theme (red and pink for the holiday - a bit heavy on berries/berry-flavored items in trying to keep with that theme). My mom officially crowned this her favorite Mother’s Day ever, and the rose for her at the end was a really nice touch to end the meal. Although a bit pricey, the meal definitely lived up to expectations.

Great service. Food is just OK. Pretty limited menu. Tuna tacos were an unappealing grey color and was difficult to eat with the hard corn tortilla shell. Flatbread pizza was fine. Pumpkin risotto needed some seasoning . Scallops were burnt on one side and white on the other…very unevenly cooked. Steak was the winner of all the dishes. “Award winning” crème brûlée was mediocre at best and burnt to a bitter crisp. It started as a quiet evening and then a private party started in the attached bar area and it got very loud. We were at the far end of the restaurant and it was still difficult to carryon a conversation.

My family and I really enjoyed the buffet on Easter Sunday. Multiple comments about it being the most extravagant buffet any of us had been to in awhile. Food and service were excellent. My only gripe was feeling somewhat rushed because the buffet began to be closed down at 3:15 and our reservations only began at 2:30.

Beautiful restaurant overlooking the canal from floor to ceiling windows. Waiter attentive and kind. Food delicious. I had beet burrata salad, Pucanha steak with mushroom sauce on the side, baked potato and mini zucchini. Orange chocolate mousse cake for dessert.
