This was our first visit to Midtown Tavern and it won’t be our last. The food and the service was very good. The chicken and waffles were great. I highly recommend.

This was our first time for brunch at Midtown and it was fantastic. The selections were impressive and the freshly juiced mimosa options were amazing. We tried the chicken and waffles and the eggs benedict and both meals were filling and tasty. We can't recommend this place enough!

The food was good and fairly priced, but I feel like this place missed the mark on what they were going for. The live music was very good, but WAY too loud for the space. Conversation (including trying to order) was very difficult. The staff was polite but spread too thin. We were only able to refill our drinks once near the end of our meal. The decor is a definite upgrade over other establishments that have occupied this location, but we were fighting off some sort of bugs that were swarming the lights the whole time we were there. There were families on the patio, but the kids playing in the driveway made it hard to get into the parking lot. Parking for this location has always been a challenge, and it continues to be. All in all, we will be back to give it another try, but our first visit landed firmly on "meh."

Our meal and service were both excellent! Our server was very helpful and attentive. We ordered several of the appetizers and each ordered an entree and all were delicious!! Can't wait to return to Midtown Tavern!

Great date night spot that's casual and cozy. Food is really good and atmosphere is great. I had the chef's salad with chicken tenders, husband had the steak sandwich. We shared the Sweet Chili Chicken Wings as an appetizer and Key Lime Pie for dessert. They also give you big portions and is reasonably priced. They have a nice outdoor patio too. Our server was so nice and we even met the owner who is awesome and local to Augusta.

Very mediocre. Loud and poor atmosphere. Looked like an afterthought of tables placed. Even had tables in the middle of the room meant to be empty with no chairs - right in the middle of the room. Felt like you were in someone’s messy house

Nice place and ambience. Food simple but good. Sat in front where band set up. If want to converse with your dinner guests may prefer back. Definitely recommend.

This was my second visit and I was a bit disappointed. The menu only has a few entrees but there were 3 or 4 specials my first visit that made this ok. This visit, there was one special (the one I’d had last time) and the bar was out of the ingredients for the cocktail I wanted from their menu. At the end of our meal, my bf tried ordering a different drink from the menu, but they didn’t have the ingredients for that cocktail either. Positives: the burger and wings were very good and the tavern was clean and nicely set. I’m so glad they take reservations. I’ll give them a 3rd try soon.

Midtown Tavern was overall a good service, food, and atmosphere. However the atmosphere was rather dark, elevated noise, and at one point staff ran out of glasses for drinks. The food is great however you can tell the price point is well above the cost and the selection is obviously limited. Salads are one half the menu.

Our food was very good. The menu is limited. Our drinks and food took a long time to get to us. Then, we had to return our drinks because they were poorly made. We ordered a dry vodka martini and an old-fashioned. And one of the specialty drinks. Server was very nice, but slow and not attentive. We won’t return.

This was my first visit at Midtown Tavern on Friday, July 21, 2023. My guest and I had reservations for 8:00 pm. We were greeted and seated without waiting. The Hostess were cheerful. Our waitress was Maggie, she was spot on with great service and was very attentive to make sure that we were pleased and enjoying ourselves. The band was great!!! My only complaint that I have is as a African American customer I didn't see anyone that look like me on the staff.
